Electronic components distributors · Pay per click advertising

Pay for the click that has a part number and a build date behind it.

Paid search for an electronic components distributor puts your stock in front of a buyer who has just typed a part number or a brand. The clicks that matter are narrow and exact, and many of the others are students, datasheet readers and job seekers. GullySales builds campaigns around the parts you hold, blocks the rest, and logs every BOM and call that comes from them.

A 90-minute audit call and a written, scored report. Turnaround, reporting and term are agreed in writing after the audit.

What pay per click advertising means

Pay per click advertising (PPC) is paying a fee each time someone clicks your advert on Google or another platform. It puts you at the top of a search page immediately, instead of waiting for ranking to build. GullySales sets the targeting, writes the ad text and checks spend daily against enquiries received.

For electronic components distributors

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Datasheet searchers click all day”

Someone looking for a pinout or a circuit diagram clicks an advert for the same part and wants nothing from you. The click costs the same as a purchase head's.

  • “The advert promises a part that is out of stock”

A buyer clicks through, finds no stock, and phones the next counter. The advert should stop when the shelf is empty.

  • “Mouser and Digi-Key outbid you on the exact part”

On a common part number you are one of many. Bidding blindly against global distributors spends the budget on the searches you are least likely to win.

What we do

What we deliver for electronic components distributors.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Campaigns built from parts you hold today

Search adverts for the part numbers and brand families in stock, switched off for a line when the shelf is empty.

Result: The advert only promises what the counter can supply.

  2. A negative list from the first searches

Datasheet, pdf, pinout, circuit diagram, tutorial, course, jobs and project added from the search terms report, not guessed once.

Result: The budget goes to buyers, not readers.

  3. A separate campaign for students and makers

Module and kit searches kept apart, with their own budget and a landing page that lists the project parts, so they do not drain the production campaign.

Result: You see what each kind of buyer costs.

  4. Pages matched to the part searched

Each advert sent to the page for that part or brand, showing stock, minimum order and a BOM or WhatsApp button, not to the home page.

Result: The click lands on an answer.

  5. Call and WhatsApp tracking

A tracked number and a tagged WhatsApp link on the campaign, with each contact written into the enquiry log with the part searched.

Result: You can trace a BOM back to the search that brought it.

  6. Hours that match the counter

Adverts scheduled to when a person answers, with a decision about evenings if somebody picks up WhatsApp then.

Result: You stop paying for clicks that find a closed counter.

How the result is measured

  • Cost per click
  • Cost per enquiry
  • Enquiries from paid search

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Searches to bid on and block

The searches worth paying for in components, and the ones that only look like buyers.

Exact part numbers you hold today
Bid, only on parts in stock, and send each click to that part's page. Pause the advert when the shelf is empty. Expect global distributors on common parts, so watch which parts bring a BOM.
Brand and family plus your city
Bid on searches such as a brand's microcontroller family with the city or market. They carry local intent, and the page can say you are an authorised or independent source.
Datasheet, pdf, pinout and circuit diagram
Block. These searchers want free information. Add each word as a negative and check the search terms report for new ones, such as tutorial, project and code.
Jobs, courses and repair training
Block. Add job, vacancy, course, training, internship and salary as negatives, so a student or job seeker does not spend the budget meant for a purchase head.
Where the click lands
Send a part search to the part page, a brand search to the brand page and a BOM or bulk search to the BOM page. Never send a part-number click to the home page.
Counting a real enquiry
Count a BOM upload from a company, a call about a stocked part, or a WhatsApp with a part and quantity. Log the part and mark which enquiries became orders.

Who it is for

This is written for these electronic components distributors.

  • Authorised distributors for one or two brand lines
  • Multi-brand stockists of ICs, passives and connectors
  • Independent and excess-stock traders
  • Development board, module and sensor suppliers for startups and colleges
  • BOM sourcing and kitting firms for contract manufacturers
  • Repair spares and service parts counters
  • Relay, transformer, battery and power component suppliers
  • Importers who source against a customer's RFQ

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Free audit call

90 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. After the call

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come with it, in writing.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the work runs for electronic components distributors

  1. 1

    Audit the counter

A free audit of how BOMs and RFQs arrive, who answers them, how long a reply takes, and what your invoice history says about buyers who stopped.

  2. 2

Set the BOM and reply routine

A BOM format, a first reply that states stock and source, and one log that every request goes into.

  3. 3

    Make the stock findable

Part, brand and city pages for the lines that sell, with datasheet links and a stock status kept current.

  4. 4

    Follow every quote

A follow-up date on each quote, a reason recorded for each loss, and a call for the BOMs that went quiet.

  5. 5

    Report against the baseline

Enquiries, BOMs quoted, orders placed and repeat buyers reported against what was recorded before anything changed.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Should we bid on Mouser or Digi-Key by name?
Seldom worth it. People who type those names want those sites. Check Google's current policy on competitor names in adverts, and spend on part and brand searches that show your stock. If you try it, test a small budget and count orders, not clicks.
Are call-only adverts any use for a components counter?
They suit a repair or urgent need when someone is at the counter to answer. For BOMs, buyers prefer to send a file, so a call-only advert is a poor fit. Run calls only in hours when a person picks up.
Should we advertise parts we can only source on order?
Yes, if the page says so and gives a date. A buyer who needs a part can accept a wait if he is told. Keep these separate from stocked parts, so you can see which kind of advert brings an order.
How do we track an enquiry that moves to WhatsApp?
Use a WhatsApp link with a tag for the campaign, and ask your counter to write the part and source in the log when the chat starts. Without that note, a good advert looks like it brought nothing.
Can a local distributor compete with Mouser and Digi-Key?
Not on every part, and pretending so costs you credibility. You compete on stock in the city today, no customs wait, a GST invoice, cut quantities, credit for known buyers and a person who picks up. Put those on the page and in the quote, because the buyer is comparing against a global listing anyway.
Is IndiaMART worth keeping for a components counter?
It brings requests, and some are real BOMs. Many are price checks with no name or date. Keep it as one source, reply from the same log as every other enquiry, and track which listing enquiries became orders before deciding how much to put into it.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after the audit, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile are the quickest to show, because the enquiries already exist. Ads can follow soon after follow-up is in place. SEO and content take longer. How long each takes depends on your business, and the audit tells you which applies to you. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
