Equipment rental companies · Local SEO

Win the map result inside the radius your driver can actually reach.

Local search decides which yard appears on the map when somebody looks for a lift or a trencher near them. For a rental business the answer has to match your delivery radius. GullySales builds the Business Profile, the yard photographs and the service area so the calls you get are ones you can serve.

A market cross in a small town square: a stepped stone cross of four worn tiers standing in a ring of cobbles, a coil of stall rope left on the bottom step, a chalk pitch marked out on the stones and a chalk arrow pointing in from the nearest lane

What local SEO means

Local SEO is the work of making your business show up for searches that name your town or locality, such as a service plus an area name. GullySales sets up locality pages, local citations and map listings so nearby customers find you before a competitor across town.

For equipment rental companies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • The map result answers the availability question first

A caller wants to know you have it and can get it there. Categories, hours and a delivery note on the profile settle half of that before the phone rings.

  • Your radius is a delivery decision, not a marketing one

A search from forty miles out is a haul charge that kills the rental. The service area should stop where the driver's day stops.

  • Photographs of the yard beat photographs of machines

Manufacturer images tell a contractor nothing. A row of your own lifts, your trucks and the counter tell him you stock this and somebody is there.

  • A second yard needs its own profile, not a footnote

Each branch has its own hours, its own stock and its own driver. One profile covering both puts the wrong yard in front of the nearer customer.

What we do

What we deliver for equipment rental companies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A Business Profile built for a same-day renter

Hours, categories stocked, delivery note, after-hours arrangements and directions a truck can follow, not just a pin on a road.

Result: The profile answers before your counter does.

  2. Service area drawn to your delivery reality

Towns and ZIP codes set to where a driver can take a machine out and get back inside a day, rather than to an ambitious circle.

Result: Calls come from places you can serve at a sensible haul rate.

  3. Yard and fleet photographs taken on site

Your own machines, trucks, counter and gate, captioned by category and refreshed as the fleet changes.

Result: A first-time caller sees a real yard.

  4. The counter's questions answered on the profile

Delivery charges, trailer requirements, weekend collection and operator expectations, written into the profile's questions section.

Result: Ten minutes of counter time comes back every day.

  5. Each branch given its own profile and reviews

Separate profiles, hours, photographs and review routines per yard, checked for duplicate listings and wrong map pins.

Result: The nearest branch is the one that shows.

  6. Map position tracked by category and town

Where you sit for each machine category in each town you serve, reported monthly against the starting position.

Result: You can see the towns you are invisible in.

How the result is measured

  • Map pack ranking
  • Local search visibility
  • Enquiries by locality

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Who it is for

This is written for these equipment rental companies.

  • Independent general tool and equipment rental yards
  • Aerial and earthmoving fleets serving general contractors
  • Specialty rental in pumps, power, climate control or shoring
  • Homeowner and DIY-focused rental counters
  • Event, party and staging rental companies
  • Rental businesses attached to a dealership
  • Multi-branch independents competing with the national chains
  • Yards adding online reservations for the first time

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the work runs for equipment rental companies

  1. 1

    Listen to last month's calls

The free audit call traces how enquiries reached you, how many were reservations, how many were quotes nobody chased, and what your counter does when the phone is busy.

  2. 2

Fix what happens around the counter

Agreed overlap hours, a logged record of every enquiry, written off-rent confirmations and a credit application that gets chased to completion.

  3. 3

    Make the fleet findable

A page for each category, a Google Business Profile built for a same-day renter, and reviews asked for after a delivery that went right.

  4. 4

    Wake the accounts that stopped

The dormant list pulled from your rental system and worked every week, with a note against each name of what they used to rent and why they stopped.

  5. 5

    Report on rentals, not activity

A monthly report on enquiries, reservations, machines delivered and accounts reopened, against the baseline recorded before anything changed.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • Hours that fit your day, agreed up front

Which hours we overlap with yours is settled before any work starts, so you know when a reply is coming and when it is not.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

We deliver and do not want walk-ins. Does that change the profile?
It changes what you show, not whether you have one. Keep the address if a customer can collect, and set the service area to where you deliver. A yard nobody walks into still needs hours and a number somebody answers.
Do reviews affect where we appear on the map?
They are part of it, along with how complete the profile is and how near the searcher happens to be. Recent reviews mentioning delivery count for more than a pile from four years ago.
Can you answer our phones?
Inside the overlap hours we agree before work starts, yes, and those hours go in writing. The counter, the yard and the after-hours line stay yours. We will not promise a 24-hour desk or a local number, because that is not what we are.
How do we compete with United Rentals and Sunbelt?
Not on fleet size or rate. An independent wins on what a national branch cannot do from a call queue. Knowing the superintendent's name, sending a mechanic on a Saturday, settling an off-rent date without an argument. The work here is making that visible before the first rental, not after.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile usually show in weeks, because the enquiries already exist. Ads show in days once follow-up is ready. SEO and content take months. The audit tells you which applies to you.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
