Rank for the machine and the town, not for the word rental.

Search engine optimisation for a rental yard decides who shows up when a superintendent looks up a 40-foot boom lift in your town at six in the morning. GullySales writes a page for every fleet category, with the working height, the trailer weight and a reservation request on it.

What search engine optimisation means

Search engine optimisation (SEO) is the work of getting your website to appear when a buyer searches Google for what you sell. GullySales builds pages around real search terms, fixes technical issues that block ranking, and tracks which searches actually bring enquiries.

For equipment rental companies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • The broker outranks the yard that owns the machine

BigRentz and DOZR buy their way above you for your own categories, then rent your fleet at their margin. Your category page is the only thing competing with them on the same search.

  • Specification is what the search is actually asking

A contractor typing 40-foot boom lift has already decided. Working height, platform capacity and what it weighs on a trailer answer him quicker than a paragraph about your service.

  • One fleet page cannot rank for eleven categories

Aerial, earthmoving, temporary power and trench safety are different searches made by different people. A single page listing all of them ranks for none.

  • Homeowner searches and contractor searches look alike

Somebody hiring a lawn aerator for Saturday and a site super hiring a trencher type similar words. Separate pages keep your counter from explaining a commercial rate to a weekend renter.

What we do

What we deliver for equipment rental companies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A page for every category you keep in the yard

Aerial, compact earthmoving, temporary power, pumps, climate control and trench safety each given their own page, built from your fleet list rather than a manufacturer brochure.

Result: A contractor searching that machine lands on your yard.

  2. Specification written the way a buyer checks it

Working height, dig depth, platform capacity, weight on a trailer and what fits through a site gate, put where the reader looks first.

Result: Fewer calls open with questions the page should have answered.

  3. Rate bands on the categories where you want them

A day and week range published for the categories that draw homeowner calls, with contract rates for builders kept off the page.

Result: The wrong caller filters themselves out before your counter picks up.

  4. Broker visibility tracked against your own pages

A monthly check of which categories BigRentz and DOZR outrank you for, so the gap becomes a list of pages to write rather than an argument.

Result: You see where a marketplace is renting your fleet for you.

  5. Site faults cleared out of the way

Slow pages, broken links and category pages with no reservation form, fixed so a page that deserves to rank is not held back by plumbing.

Result: A good page stops being blocked by a fixable fault.

  6. Monthly search report by fleet category

Search position, visits and reservation requests reported per category each month against the baseline taken before work started.

Result: You know which machine page earns its place.

How the result is measured

  • Ranking positions
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from organic search

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Who it is for

This is written for these equipment rental companies.

  • Independent general tool and equipment rental yards
  • Aerial and earthmoving fleets serving general contractors
  • Specialty rental in pumps, power, climate control or shoring
  • Homeowner and DIY-focused rental counters
  • Event, party and staging rental companies
  • Rental businesses attached to a dealership
  • Multi-branch independents competing with the national chains
  • Yards adding online reservations for the first time

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the work runs for equipment rental companies

  1. 1

    Listen to last month's calls

The free audit call traces how enquiries reached you, how many were reservations, how many were quotes nobody chased, and what your counter does when the phone is busy.

  2. 2

Fix what happens around the counter

Agreed overlap hours, a logged record of every enquiry, written off-rent confirmations and a credit application that gets chased to completion.

  3. 3

    Make the fleet findable

A page for each category, a Google Business Profile built for a same-day renter, and reviews asked for after a delivery that went right.

  4. 4

    Wake the accounts that stopped

The dormant list pulled from your rental system and worked every week, with a note against each name of what they used to rent and why they stopped.

  5. 5

    Report on rentals, not activity

A monthly report on enquiries, reservations, machines delivered and accounts reopened, against the baseline recorded before anything changed.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • Hours that fit your day, agreed up front

Which hours we overlap with yours is settled before any work starts, so you know when a reply is coming and when it is not.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

How long before search brings in rentals?
Several months for a crowded category like aerial, and sooner for the narrow ones. A page for trench shoring or ground thaw has almost nobody writing against it. The Business Profile moves faster than the website does.
Do we need a page for a machine we only own one of?
Yes, if it rents well and comes straight back out. A single ride-on trowel or core drill has very little written about it anywhere, so one honest page with a specification holds its place for years.
Can you answer our phones?
Inside the overlap hours we agree before work starts, yes, and those hours go in writing. The counter, the yard and the after-hours line stay yours. We will not promise a 24-hour desk or a local number, because that is not what we are.
How do we compete with United Rentals and Sunbelt?
Not on fleet size or rate. An independent wins on what a national branch cannot do from a call queue. Knowing the superintendent's name, sending a mechanic on a Saturday, settling an off-rent date without an argument. The work here is making that visible before the first rental, not after.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
