Eye hospitals · Search engine optimisation

Rank for the cataract lens question, not only for your hospital's name.

Search engine optimisation (SEO) for an eye hospital decides whose page a family opens when they search for a condition or a surgery, such as cataract surgery with a toric lens in their own city. GullySales writes a page for each condition the departments treat and fixes the faults keeping them out of search.

A 90-minute audit call and a written, scored report. Turnaround, reporting and term are agreed in writing after the audit.

What search engine optimisation means

Search engine optimisation (SEO) is the work of getting your website to appear when a buyer searches Google for what you sell. GullySales builds pages around real search terms, fixes technical issues that block ranking, and tracks which searches actually bring enquiries.

For eye hospitals

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The son searches, not the patient”

A cataract patient in their seventies rarely searches. A son or daughter does, on a phone, sometimes from another city, and the page has to answer what they will ask: the lens, the insurer and who brings the parent home.

  • “One services page hides five departments”

A single page listing cataract, retina, glaucoma, cornea and paediatrics in one paragraph ranks for none of them. The retina department, with its injections and laser, needs its own page as much as the cataract theatre does.

  • “Lens names are what people type”

Families search monofocal versus multifocal, toric lens and which lens is best, because the counsellor mentioned them. A hospital that explains the choice plainly is read before the consultation, and counselling starts from there.

What we do

What we deliver for eye hospitals.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Condition pages built from what the OPD hears

Pages for diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, keratoconus, squint and cataract, each opening with the question patients ask at registration and naming the department that treats it.

Result: A search for the condition finds the department, not the home page.

  2. A lens choice explainer the surgeons sign off

One page setting out monofocal, toric and multifocal lenses in plain words: who each suits, what the patient gives up, and why the fee changes with the lens. A surgeon checks it before it goes up.

Result: Families reach counselling with fewer surprises waiting at the billing counter.

  3. Doctor pages with registration details

A page for each consultant with qualification and registration as issued, the department, OPD days and the procedures they perform, published with the doctor's consent.

Result: A family looking up a surgeon's name lands on your site rather than a directory.

  4. Technical faults found and fixed

Slow pages, broken appointment links, missing page titles and department pages that search engines cannot reach, fixed in order of what each one costs you.

Result: Well-written pages are no longer held out of search by a fault.

  5. Search position and enquiries by department

Where each department page appears for its own searches, and the calls and forms it produced, read against the baseline recorded before the work began.

Result: You can tell whether retina is being found, or only the hospital's name.

How the result is measured

  • Ranking positions
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from organic search

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Searches families type

What a family types before choosing an eye hospital, and the page that should answer it.

cataract operation cost near me
A cataract page that says what the fee depends on: the lens, the technique and the room. Show packages only as your management has approved them, and invite a consultation for the figure.
which lens is best for cataract surgery
The lens explainer. Compare lens types in plain words, say who each suits and what it does not do, and let the surgeon settle the wording of anything that reads like a claim.
eye hospital cashless insurance near me
An insurance and schemes page listing the insurers, TPAs and government schemes you are empanelled with, what to bring for pre-authorisation and which desk to call. Update it when a panel changes.
diabetic eye check up near me
A diabetic retinopathy page. Explain why a check is advised even when sight seems fine, what the dilated test involves and that the patient should not drive home. Name the retina clinic days.
squint surgery for child
A paediatric page. Describe the first visit, the drops a child is given, what parents stay for and the questions about age that parents ask. Make no promise about the outcome.
how to pledge eyes for donation
An eye bank page, if you run one. Say how a family pledges, what happens after a death and whom to call at night, and link it to your cornea department.

Who it is for

This is written for these eye hospitals.

  • Multi-speciality eye hospitals
  • Eye hospitals with community outreach
  • Eye hospitals attached to medical colleges
  • Charitable and trust-run eye hospitals
  • Corporate and chain eye hospitals
  • Eye hospitals with optical and pharmacy services

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Free audit call

90 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. After the call

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come with it, in writing.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the work runs for eye hospitals

  1. 1

Listen to how a patient moves through the hospital

The free audit call traces where patients come from, how they reach a second department and what is lost on the way.

  2. 2

    Join the departments

A routine that carries a patient between them.

  3. 3

    Make the whole hospital visible

Department pages, a Business Profile that shows the range and reviews asked for after good care.

  4. 4

Write back to referrers and follow up camps

    A note-back routine and a camp-to-hospital route.

  5. 5

    Report on departments, not activity

A report on enquiries, cross-department conversions and referrers against the baseline taken before anything changed.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Should each department have its own website?
No. Keep one site with a section per department, so the hospital's name and links build the standing of one site. Separate sites for the retina clinic and the cataract unit split that standing and confuse families who need both.
Do we need a page for each branch or vision centre?
Yes, where it has its own address, staff and hours. Name the locality, the services available there and which cases go to the base hospital. A page that only swaps the town name in the heading adds nothing.
Can we use the lens maker's brochure text on our lens page?
No. The same text sits on every hospital site that buys that lens, and it reads as advertising for the maker. Write how your surgeons choose a lens and what the patient decides, and have a surgeon check it.
Our IT vendor built the site. Who should own the domain?
The hospital, registered in its own name, with the login held by management. Ask the vendor in writing for the domain, hosting and admin access. Without them you cannot change a department page, and a change of vendor can take the site down.
Can we publish testimonials or before-and-after results?
Medical council rules restrict testimonials and result advertising for doctors, and the position differs and changes. We publish neither without your adviser's say-so. A clear explanation of the service does the same work.
Can we run discounts on surgery packages?
Packages with clear prices help families compare. Inducements and discounts on procedures may be restricted, so we keep to plain packages and your adviser confirms anything promotional.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after the audit, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 90 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the review meetings.
