Microfinance companies · Local SEO

Make every branch easy to find for the borrower who searches near the village.

Local SEO for a microfinance company means a correct Google Maps listing for each branch, so a borrower, a group leader or a job seeker can find the nearest office. GullySales sets up and maintains those listings and the branch pages behind them.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

Microfinance institutions: show a real physical business scene illustrating Members, groups and centres. Record each member inside her group and centre, so member dues and the group total are worked from identical entries and never adjusted by hand.

What local SEO means

Local SEO is the work of making your business show up for searches that name your town or locality, such as a service plus an area name. GullySales sets up locality pages, local citations and map listings so nearby customers find you before a competitor across town.

For microfinance companies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “A branch with no listing does not exist online”

A borrower told to visit the branch searches on a phone. If the listing is missing, shows an old address or has the wrong hours, the visit does not happen and the officer is blamed.

  • “Duplicate listings split the name”

Branches that moved, merged or changed name leave old listings behind. A borrower reaches a closed door. Finding and merging these is dull work that protects the company from a quiet loss of trust.

  • “Reviews on a lender's listing need care”

A borrower who is unhappy about a repayment writes it in public. The company needs a calm reply route owned by someone senior, and a rule that no reply shares a borrower's loan details.

What we do

What we deliver for microfinance companies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Branch listing set-up

A Maps listing for each branch with the correct name, address, hours and phone line.

Result: Searching a branch name shows the right office.

  2. Duplicate and closed-branch clean-up

A check for old listings of moved or closed branches, claimed, merged or marked closed.

Result: No borrower is sent to a branch that is gone.

  3. Branch pages with the villages served

A page per branch naming the area it covers and how to reach it, in the local language.

Result: A borrower sees whether their village is covered.

  4. Review reply guide

A short guide on replying to public reviews that never repeats loan or personal details and moves the matter to a private call.

Result: Replies are calm and consistent across branches.

  5. New-branch launch listing

A listing and page ready when a branch opens in a new taluk.

Result: The first leaders who look the branch up find it.

How the result is measured

  • Map pack ranking
  • Local search visibility
  • Enquiries by locality

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the local SEO work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Audit every listing

We check the Google Business Profile and directory listings for every branch against what should actually be shown.

  2. 2

    Complete and correct

Profiles are filled in fully and inconsistent details are corrected across every directory found.

  3. 3

    Build location pages

Each branch gets a page written for its own area, not a copy of the head office page with the address changed.

  4. 4

    Set up review handling

A simple process for requesting and responding to reviews is put in place with whoever is closest to the customer.

  5. 5

    Report and adjust

Map actions and enquiries per branch are recorded, and the branches falling behind come first in the next round of work.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Do borrowers really search Maps?
Group leaders, shopkeepers and job seekers do, on phones, mostly to verify a lender or find an office. A village household may not, so Maps supports the visit and does not replace it.
Can we ask borrowers for reviews?
Asking a borrower who owes the company money for a review puts pressure on them. GullySales does not build that. Check the platform's current rules and your compliance head's view before asking anyone.
Who should own the listings?
The head office, with a named person per region who confirms address and hours when a branch changes. Branch managers send the change, and one person updates the listing.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
