Motor insurance agencies · Buyer persona

Know who is renewing, who is buying, and who is paying for a fleet.

A buyer persona for a motor insurance agency is a written picture of the person who decides on a vehicle's cover: what they ask, when they decide and who they consult. GullySales builds the personas from your own policy records and your callers' notes, not from a template.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What buyer persona means

A buyer persona is a plain description of the kind of customer who actually buys from you. It includes what they search, what worries them and who else they ask before deciding. GullySales builds this from real enquiries and past sales rather than a generic template, then uses it to write every page and advert.

For motor insurance agencies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The two-wheeler owner decides on the last evening”

A scooter owner renews when the reminder arrives, compares a figure or two and pays. The persona is about speed and a number that is easy to read, and a reply that comes after the evening has lost the sale.

  • “The private car owner asks a friend and a portal”

A car owner has a trusted name, a portal quote and an insurer's reminder, all at once. Your persona records which of the three they check first, because that decides where you must appear.

  • “The new car buyer meets the dealer first”

At delivery the buyer is led to the insurance desk by the person who sold the car. The persona here is shaped by a salesperson's recommendation, and the agency's task is to be a name the buyer meets again at the first renewal.

  • “The fleet manager buys for others and answers to an owner”

A transporter's accountant or a school's administrator buys for vehicles they do not drive. They want dates kept, a person to call on the road and a bill their owner will not question.

What we do

What we deliver for motor insurance agencies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A persona sheet for each buyer

One page per buyer: two-wheeler, private car, new car, used car, taxi, goods carrier, bus operator and fleet manager.

Result: Your team can say who a caller is before the call starts.

  2. A trigger map for each persona

The event that starts a search for each buyer, such as expiry, purchase, accident or a new permit.

Result: You know which moment to reach each buyer.

  3. The words each buyer uses

A short list of phrases taken from your own chats and calls, kept in the buyer's language.

Result: Posts and replies use the owner's words, not the insurer's.

  4. Objections and the answer to each

The standing doubts, such as the price on a portal, a past claim problem or a dealer's recommendation, with an honest reply.

Result: A caller meets a doubt with a prepared, accurate answer.

  5. A review against your policy file

The personas tested against your actual policy records and adjusted where the file disagrees.

Result: The personas describe your customers, not a guess.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiry match to persona
  • Conversion rate by persona
  • Content aligned to persona

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the buyer persona work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Understand the current view

We start with how your team currently describes the customer, since the gap between belief and reality is often the finding itself.

  2. 2

    Audit past enquiries and sales

We look at recent enquiries and closed deals to see who actually bought, not who was assumed to buy.

  3. 3

    Interview customers and staff

Short, structured conversations surface the real language, worries and triggers behind a purchase.

  4. 4

    Build the personas

Findings are written into short, usable persona documents rather than a long report.

  5. 5

    Apply to your marketing

We show exactly where each persona should change a page, an ad or a script you already have.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Do we need a persona for every vehicle type?
Only for the kinds you sell. A small agency may serve two-wheelers and cars, and need two. Add more when a new kind of customer starts to appear in your enquiries.
Where does the information come from?
From your policy records, your callers and your own notes on why owners renewed or left. We do not invent buyer details, and we mark anything we do not know as a question to ask.
Will the persona include personal data?
No. A persona describes a type of buyer and carries no name, number or registration. Your customers' details stay in your register, handled under the data rules that apply to you.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
