Motor insurance agencies · Digital marketing

Put your agency where a vehicle owner looks, and track what each place brings.

Digital marketing for a motor insurance agency is the combined work of search, map listing, chat, content and paid reach, all pointed at vehicle owners near their expiry. GullySales chooses what fits your book and writes down how each part is to be measured.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What digital marketing means

Digital marketing is the combined work of search, social media, advertising and website channels running together rather than as separate projects with separate people. GullySales runs these as one connected system so a change in one channel, such as a new offer, is reflected everywhere at once.

Last updated 18 Oct 2026. Rules for this trade differ by state and professional body, and they change. We describe restrictions in general terms, so check the current position with your own council or adviser before you publish anything.

For motor insurance agencies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The channel that matters is the one that holds the date”

Reach without a vehicle and an expiry behind it is attention you cannot act on. Every channel is judged by whether it brings a registration number your callers can use.

  • “Paid ads for insurance are constrained and costly”

Platforms set their own rules for financial services advertising, and keywords for car insurance are contested by large portals. A small agency spends better on narrow searches and on owners it already knows.

  • “The owner's first contact and the tenth are different people”

A first contact asks for a quote, while the tenth renews without a call. Digital work should serve both, with a quick answer for the first and a reminder for the later renewals.

  • “Dealer and workshop partners are a digital channel too”

A showroom's insurance desk is reached by a leaflet or a visit, but it is also reached by a short message and a page it can open on a phone. The offer to partners belongs in the plan.

What we do

What we deliver for motor insurance agencies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A channel plan fitted to your book

A choice of channels based on your vehicle mix, your area and your insurers, with a reason for each.

Result: Your plan lists what is done and what is left out.

  2. A tracking sheet for enquiries

Each enquiry tagged with its source and the vehicle type, and counted against renewals kept and lost.

Result: You can see which channel brought a policy.

  3. A small paid test, if you choose one

A narrow search campaign with a budget you set, an enquiry form and a clear stop rule.

Result: You can see what a paid enquiry costs before you decide to spend more.

  4. A partner page for dealers and yards

A single page that explains your service to showroom managers and yards, built for a phone.

Result: A dealer can open it and understand in a moment.

  5. A plain report on what worked

A written summary of enquiries by source against the baseline, with what to keep and what to stop.

Result: You can decide on facts, not on how busy the work looked.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries across channels
  • Cost per enquiry overall
  • Channel mix by contribution

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the digital marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Understand the objective

We agree the one thing this campaign needs to achieve before choosing any channel.

  2. 2

    Audit available channels

We assess which channels are realistic to run well within the budget and timeline.

  3. 3

    Strategise the central idea

One message and offer is developed that will work across every planned channel.

  4. 4

    Implement across channels

Each channel receives its own adapted version, launched on a shared timeline.

  5. 5

    Measure as one campaign

Results from every channel are combined into a single report against the original objective.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

How much should we spend on ads?
That is your decision, and we cannot say what any spend will return. Start with a small test, record the cost of each enquiry, and compare it with what an enquiry earns you before you spend more.
Is digital marketing worth it for a small agency?
It is when it brings registration numbers you can call. The first work is your own files and your map listing, which cost little. We say which parts suit your size and which do not.
Do insurance ads need approval?
Rules on insurance advertising differ by profession, insurer and platform. Check every ad with your insurer and your own adviser, and read the platform's current rules before you pay for reach.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
