Banks · Cold calling
Call the small business that just registered for GST, not a random number.
Cold calling for a bank means reaching out to a specific, relevant prospect: a newly registered business, a maturing fixed deposit holder, or a resident near a new branch. It is not dialling an unrelated list. GullySales helps identify these relevant lists and script the call around a real, current need.
Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What cold calling means
Cold calling is phoning someone who has not enquired, to introduce your business and check if there is a need worth a further conversation. GullySales writes the opening lines and qualification questions for these calls and tracks how many turn into a genuine enquiry.

For banks
Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.
“A maturing fixed deposit is a legitimate, welcome reason to call”
A customer whose FD matures next month expects and often appreciates a call discussing renewal options, unlike an unrelated cold pitch.
“New business registrations are a specific, targetable moment”
A newly registered MSME is actively setting up banking relationships, and a well-timed call about a current account or a working capital facility reaches them at the right moment.
“The call should offer information, not just push a product”
Explaining a scheme's eligibility and asking if it is relevant earns more trust than opening straight into a sales pitch, and often converts better too.
What we do
What we deliver for banks.
Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.
Relevant call lists from real triggers
Lists built from maturing fixed deposits, new business registrations or existing customer events, not an unrelated purchased number list.
Result: Every call has a genuine, current reason to happen.
Call script built around information, not a pitch
A script that explains a scheme's eligibility and asks if it is relevant, before any product is pushed.
Result: A customer feels informed first, not just sold to.
Consent and compliance check for calling lists
A review of each list against opted-in status and current calling regulations before it reaches a calling team.
Result: The calling programme stays within what compliance expects.
Call outcome tracking into the enquiry system
Every call logged with outcome and next step in the same system as branch and digital enquiries.
Result: A promising call is followed up, not forgotten.
How the result is measured
- Calls made
- Conversion to genuine enquiry
- Call to meeting ratio
Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.
Before a call list goes out
Check each call list against these six points before the calling team sees it.
A list is only as good as the reason each person is on it. The branch head should be able to answer these questions for any name on the sheet.
- The trigger for the call
- Write why each person is on the list, such as a deposit maturing or a new business registration. If there is no reason, the person should not be on it.
- Source of the number
- Record where each number came from and whether the person agreed to be contacted. Check the do-not-call rules that apply with your compliance team before the list is used.
- Opening line
- Say who is calling, from which bank and why, then ask whether it is a good time. If it is not, offer to call back or to send a message instead.
- One useful piece of information
- Prepare the single fact the person would value, such as what their options are when a deposit matures. Lead with it, and do not push a product in the first call.
- Close of the call
- Ask whether they want a call back, a WhatsApp message or a branch visit, and note the choice. Honour it exactly.
- Outcome codes
- Use a short set, such as interested, call later, not interested and do not call. A do-not-call outcome must remove the number from every future list.

How it works
From your first message to the first report.
No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.
First
Your brief
You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.
After the brief
A conversation and a written scope
We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.
Before work starts
Baseline recorded
The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.
After the baseline
The first fix goes live
The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.
As agreed
Report against the baseline
What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.
At renewal
Renew on the numbers
The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.
How the cold calling work runs
- 1
Build the target list
We define and build the list of companies worth reaching, based on your ideal customer profile.
- 2
Design the outreach sequence
A sequence of touches across channels is planned to reach each prospect several times without feeling excessive.
- 3
Write the scripts
Messaging is written for each channel, tested and refined based on what actually gets a response.
- 4
Run and track
The team works through the sequence on a schedule, and every response is tracked back to what produced it.
Why us
Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.
Marketing and sales, as one job
Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.
The person on the first call does the work
No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.
A baseline before anything starts
Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.
The fee in writing, split three ways
Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.
No guarantees we cannot keep
The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.
