Banks · Franchise marketing

Support your business correspondent network the way a franchise supports its outlets.

Franchise-style marketing for a bank applies to business correspondent networks and co-branded outlets that represent the bank in a locality without being a full branch. They need the same consistent materials and local marketing support a franchise system provides its outlets. GullySales builds this support system for a network that otherwise operates unevenly.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What franchise marketing means

Franchise marketing covers both attracting new franchisees to invest in your business format and giving existing franchise outlets marketing material they can use locally. GullySales builds both the investor-facing pitch and the local marketing kit each outlet can run without redesigning it themselves.

For banks

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Business correspondents need local marketing support, not just a mandate”

A business correspondent expected to bring in customers in a village or a small town benefits from the same local signage and simple marketing materials a bank branch would use. Otherwise, they are left to represent the bank with nothing.

  • “Consistency across a correspondent network protects the brand”

One business correspondent using outdated or inaccurate materials can misrepresent a scheme, and consistent, centrally managed materials reduce this risk across the network.

  • “Co-branded outlets need clear boundaries on what they can promise”

A retail outlet also offering banking correspondent services needs clarity on exactly what it can and cannot represent about the bank, which good materials make explicit rather than assumed.

What we do

What we deliver for banks.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Local marketing kit for business correspondents

Signage and simple marketing materials for a business correspondent, matching what a bank branch would use, sized for a village or small town.

Result: A correspondent represents the bank with something in hand, not nothing.

  2. Centrally managed material set

One current set of materials distributed to every correspondent and co-branded outlet, replacing locally improvised versions.

Result: The whole network represents a scheme the same, accurate way.

  3. Explicit boundary notes for co-branded outlets

A written note for each co-branded outlet on exactly what it can and cannot represent about the bank's products.

Result: An outlet never promises something it is not authorised to promise.

  4. Correspondent network material audit

A review of current correspondent materials for outdated terms or inconsistent branding before a refresh.

Result: You know exactly what is being shown to customers today.

How the result is measured

  • Franchisee enquiries
  • Outlet-level customer enquiries
  • Brand consistency across outlets

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Kit for a correspondent outlet

Give every business correspondent outlet the same approved kit, so the customer knows what the counter can and cannot do.

Outlet signboard
An approved sign with the bank's name, the outlet's authorised name and the services it offers. A board that suggests a full branch creates complaints.
Services list in local language
A one-page list of what the outlet can do and what it cannot, such as sanctioning a loan. Display it where the customer waits.
Escalation card
The branch contact for failed transactions and the bank's grievance route, printed on a card. Check it is current whenever branch staff change.
Charges poster
Supplied and replaced only by the bank. The agent should not write or quote charges by hand.
Supervisor's checklist
A short list the supervisor ticks at each visit: sign present, services list visible, no unapproved flex, materials undamaged.
One reorder route
One named person at the bank to ask for new materials, so outlets do not get banners printed in the local market.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the franchise marketing work runs

  1. 1

    Define the fit profile

We study your best-performing outlets to define what a good franchisee and location actually look like.

  2. 2

    Prioritise expansion targets

Cities and localities ranked so effort goes where the model is most likely to work.

  3. 3

    Screen the pipeline

Enquiries handled through a consistent process from first contact to a signing decision.

  4. 4

    Hand over to opening

Signed franchisees passed to operations with a defined path to opening day.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

How is this different from regular branch marketing?
It accounts for a correspondent or outlet operating with less oversight and training than a branch, needing simpler, clearer, harder-to-misuse materials.
Who creates these materials?
We do, working from your actual scheme terms and correspondent network structure, kept current as terms change.
What should a business correspondent never say to a customer?
Never promise a loan, a rate or an approval, never describe the outlet as a branch, and never take documents or payments outside the bank's process. Give each agent a one-page list of what to say and which branch to refer to, written by your compliance team.
How do we check what outlets actually display?
Ask for a photo of the outlet front and the services list, and have a supervisor visit to confirm. Compare both against the approved kit and record each gap with the date it was fixed. A photo from the agent is a start, not a substitute for a visit.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
