Banks · Events and exhibitions

Set up a counter at the local trade fair where your MSME customers already are.

Events and exhibitions for a bank means a presence at a local trade fair, an MSME exhibition or a community event where target customers already gather. It is not a bank-hosted event customers must be persuaded to attend. GullySales identifies these existing gatherings and builds a relevant presence at them.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What events and exhibitions means

Events and exhibitions are trade shows, stalls or hosted gatherings where you meet many prospects in one place at one time. They suit industries where buyers still expect a face to face introduction. GullySales plans the stall, the material and the follow-up so contacts made there are not lost afterward.

For banks

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “An MSME exhibition reaches exactly the customer a business loan scheme wants”

A stall at a local trade or industry exhibition puts your business banking team in front of small business owners already thinking about their finances. There is no need to attract them separately.

  • “A financial literacy session at a community event builds goodwill first”

Offering a short, genuinely useful session on managing business cash flow at a local event earns attention that a purely promotional stall would not.

  • “Follow-up after the event matters more than the event itself”

Contacts collected at an exhibition convert only if followed up promptly and specifically afterward, rather than filed away and forgotten.

What we do

What we deliver for banks.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Shortlist of relevant local gatherings

A list of MSME exhibitions, trade fairs and community events where your target customer is already gathered for another reason.

Result: You show up where the right customer already is.

  2. Stall and literacy session materials

Materials for a business banking stall or a short cash-flow literacy session, built around genuine usefulness rather than a promotional pitch.

Result: Attendees leave with something useful, whether or not they open an account.

  3. Contact capture and next-step process

A simple process for capturing contacts at an event and assigning a specific, prompt follow-up.

Result: A contact collected at an event is not filed away and forgotten.

  4. Event return tracked to enquiries

A record linking enquiries and accounts opened back to a specific event, built into the enquiry reporting.

Result: You know which event was actually worth the stall fee.

How the result is measured

  • Leads captured
  • Follow-up completion rate
  • Enquiries converted after the event

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Stall checklist for an MSME fair

Prepare the bank's stall at a local trade fair with this checklist.

A stall is staffed for a few days, and its leads go to a branch. Decide who is present and what they may say before the organiser's deadline for the stall layout.

Visitor mix from the organiser
Ask the organiser who attends: manufacturers, traders or retailers. Choose one or two products to show, such as working capital or a current account, not the whole shelf.
Who staffs the stall
Send a relationship manager who can explain the scheme and a second person to record contacts. Rates and fees are set centrally, so carry the official sheets and quote nothing that is not on them.
Plain document list
Display what each loan needs in plain words and the local language, such as the Udyam registration, GST returns, bank statements and identity proof. This answers the first question at the counter.
Contact capture and permission
Record name, business, mobile number, product interest and permission to call. Do not collect identity documents or account details at a stall.
Branch tag and handover
Tag each contact with the event name and the nearest branch, and send the list to that branch in good time. The branch calls and logs the outcome.
Compliance read of printed matter
Have the banner, brochure and any script read by your compliance team before printing. Rules for bank advertising change, so use only approved wording.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the events and exhibitions work runs

  1. 1

    Understand the event

We confirm who typically attends this specific show, and whether it matches your actual target buyer.

  2. 2

    Audit past attendance

If you have exhibited before, we review what was captured last time and what happened to it.

  3. 3

    Plan promotion and materials

Pre-event outreach and stall materials are prepared with enough lead time before the show.

  4. 4

    Run the event

Lead capture happens consistently throughout the event, not only when someone remembers.

  5. 5

    Follow up and measure

Every captured lead is contacted within days, and the event's return is calculated against its cost.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Which events are worth attending?
Ones where your target customer, such as an MSME owner or a specific community, is already gathered for another reason, rather than a general business expo.
How do we know the stall fee paid for itself?
By counting the accounts opened that trace back to that one exhibition, not the footfall at the counter. The contact capture sheet carries the event name, so the report shows what the stall produced against what it cost.
What may stall staff say about loan eligibility?
Explain the general criteria and the document list, and say that eligibility is decided by the bank's credit process after an application. Do not promise approval, a rate or a limit at the stall. Refer the visitor to the branch for an assessment.
Should we hold our own event instead of joining a fair?
For a branch, a fair run by a trade body or market association is usually the better start, because the visitors have already gathered. Hold your own event only when you have a specific audience and the staff to host it, such as a literacy session for a trader group.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
