Banks · Sales management

Know which branch's loan pipeline is actually stalling before the quarter ends badly.

Sales management for a bank means tracking every branch's loan and account pipeline consistently. A stalling branch is caught mid-quarter, not discovered only when quarterly numbers come in low. GullySales sets up this tracking and the review rhythm to use it.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What sales management means

Sales management is the ongoing work of reviewing a sales team's pipeline, calls and targets, and stepping in on deals that are stuck. GullySales sets the review rhythm and the reports a sales manager needs to run this without relying on gut feel.

For banks

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Mid-quarter visibility allows a course correction that end-of-quarter reporting does not”

A branch falling behind on its loan pipeline in the first month of a quarter can still recover with focused effort. That only works if the problem is visible in time to act, not buried in a final report.

  • “Pipeline stage detail matters more than one headline number”

Two branches with similar total pipeline value can be in very different positions if one has mostly late-stage, near-certain deals and the other mostly early, uncertain ones.

  • “Consistent tracking format across branches enables real comparison”

Branches recording pipeline information differently make it impossible to compare fairly or spot which specific branch needs support, so a consistent format is a prerequisite for useful sales management.

What we do

What we deliver for banks.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Branch pipeline review rhythm

A regular review of each branch's loan and account pipeline, catching a stalling branch while there is still time to recover.

Result: A slow start gets a chance to recover, not just a bad final number.

  2. Stage-level pipeline detail

Pipeline tracking that distinguishes late-stage, near-certain deals from early, uncertain ones, not a single combined total.

Result: You can tell a genuinely strong pipeline from a fragile one.

  3. Consistent tracking format across branches

One shared format for recording pipeline information, so branches can be fairly compared.

Result: You spot which specific branch actually needs support.

  4. Management summary alongside branch reviews

A broader review summarising branch performance and where support is needed, alongside the branch-level check.

Result: Leadership sees the full picture without waiting for a final report.

How the result is measured

  • Target achievement
  • Pipeline coverage
  • Stuck deals resolved

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

What the branch manager reviews

Read these six parts of the branch pipeline before the regional review call.

Leads logged at the counter and by DSAs
Check the lead sheet against the enquiry slips at the counter and the DSA's list. A walk-in who asked about a home loan and is not entered has no owner, so assign one before the meeting ends.
Loan files waiting for documents
List files stuck at the document stage, such as ITR, salary slips or property papers. Ask the officer to send the customer a written list of what is missing and the name of the person to hand it to.
Sanctioned but not disbursed
Compare sanction letters with disbursements in the core banking report. A sanctioned home loan that has not drawn down may be waiting on the builder or the valuation, so find out which.
Applications declined and why
Read the decline reasons by product. When many personal loan files fail on CIBIL or income, the leads are coming from the wrong place, so speak to the DSA or the officer sourcing them.
Fixed deposits nearing maturity
Pull the FD maturity list for the coming weeks. A depositor not called before maturity may move the money to another bank, so give each maturity a named officer.
Cross-sell against a noted need
Check that insurance or a card was sold with a loan only where the customer's need is noted in the file. Add-ons with no noted need are a mis-selling risk, so raise them with compliance.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the sales management work runs

  1. 1

    Assess current management practice

We look at what cadence, if any, currently exists and where it breaks down.

  2. 2

    Set the rhythm

The touchpoints are agreed and scheduled in writing before the first review.

  3. 3

    Run or coach the cadence

We either run the reviews and one-on-ones directly, or coach your manager to run them.

  4. 4

    Address performance directly

Issues are raised as they appear, not left until a review period.

  5. 5

    Report to the owner

A summary keeps ownership informed without needing to sit in every review.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

How often should pipeline be reviewed?
Weekly at the branch level and monthly at a broader level, so issues are caught while there is still time to respond.
What tools do we need for this?
Often your existing systems can support this with better organisation, and we assess this before recommending anything new.
Who should attend the branch pipeline review?
The branch manager, the loan officers and whoever looks after the DSA relationships. Keep operations staff out unless a file is stuck on their side, such as account opening or a valuation. A small group talks about specific files instead of defending totals.
How do I set branch targets when head office only gives us one number?
Break the head office number into what it needs from the branch's own pipeline: files logged, sanctioned and disbursed. When the gap is in sourcing, push leads. When it is in sanctions, look at file quality. Tell the regional office early if the target rests on leads the branch does not have.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
