Banks · Sales metrics
Track loan disbursal conversion by branch, not just the number of accounts opened.
Sales metrics for a bank means tracking meaningful numbers: enquiry-to-disbursal conversion, average processing time, cross-sell rate per customer. A single vanity number like total accounts opened hides how the business is actually performing. GullySales reports these on an enquiry basis.
Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What sales metrics means
Sales metrics are the specific numbers, such as call volume, conversion rate and average deal size, that show whether a sales team is actually improving. GullySales reports these by enquiry outcome rather than activity, the same enquiry-based reporting used across every engagement.

For banks
Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.
“Total accounts opened hides whether those accounts are actually active”
A branch reporting many new accounts but low subsequent activity is a different, more concerning situation than a branch with fewer but consistently active accounts. Only deeper metrics reveal the difference.
“Processing time is a metric customers feel directly”
Average loan processing time by branch is not just an internal efficiency number, it directly shapes what customers experience and later describe in reviews and referrals.
“Cross-sell rate per customer reveals relationship depth”
Tracking how many products an average customer holds shows relationship strength in a way that counting new customers alone cannot capture.
What we do
What we deliver for banks.
Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.
Enquiry-to-disbursal conversion tracking
A metric tracking what share of enquiries actually reach disbursal or activation, rather than counting accounts opened alone.
Result: You see whether growth is real, not just accounts sitting dormant.
Processing time by branch
Average loan processing time tracked and reported by branch, since it shapes what customers actually experience.
Result: Slow processing is visible before it shows up in a review.
Cross-sell rate per customer
A metric tracking how many products an average customer holds, revealing relationship depth beyond new customer counts.
Result: You see relationship strength, not just how many people opened an account.
Plain-language metrics report
A report of these metrics by branch and product, written in plain language rather than a raw data export.
Result: You understand the numbers without needing someone to interpret them.
How the result is measured
- Conversion rate
- Average deal size
- Sales cycle length
Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.
Numbers worth tracking
The numbers a branch can work out from its enquiry log, loan files and DSA sheets.
- Loan enquiries by where they started
- Tag each home, gold, vehicle or MSME loan enquiry as counter, DSA, phone, WhatsApp or website. Count by tag. A source that sends many enquiries but few files logged is the place to look first.
- Days from enquiry to sanction letter
- Take the date the enquiry was logged and the date on the sanction letter for each loan file, then sort by product. A long gap on one product often points to a document the customer was not told about at the start.
- Enquiries that stopped at the document list
- Count enquiries where a KYC or income document list was shared but no file was opened. Call a few and ask what held them back. The answers show which document request needs explaining better at the counter.
- New accounts with a customer transaction
- From the core banking report, list accounts opened in the period and check which show a customer-initiated transaction since. Dormant new accounts suggest openings made for a target rather than for a need.
- Fixed deposits renewed at maturity
- List deposits that matured in the period and mark which were renewed, moved to another product or withdrawn. A withdrawal with no conversation logged before maturity is a follow-up the branch missed.

How it works
From your first message to the first report.
No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.
First
Your brief
You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.
After the brief
A conversation and a written scope
We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.
Before work starts
Baseline recorded
The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.
After the baseline
The first fix goes live
The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.
As agreed
Report against the baseline
What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.
At renewal
Renew on the numbers
The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.
How the sales metrics work runs
- 1
Review current metrics
We look at what is currently tracked and how consistently it is defined and calculated.
- 2
Select the core set
We agree, with you, the small number of metrics that actually matter for decisions.
- 3
Write the definitions
Exact calculation rules are documented for each one.
- 4
Build the scorecard
A simple, regular report is built around the agreed metrics and definitions.
- 5
Train the team
We run a short session on using the scorecard in reviews, not just producing it.
Why us
Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.
Marketing and sales, as one job
Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.
The person on the first call does the work
No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.
A baseline before anything starts
Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.
The fee in writing, split three ways
Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.
No guarantees we cannot keep
The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.
One office, and we say so
