Freight and transport companies · Lead generation

The first rate back on WhatsApp makes the shortlist.

A rate enquiry for a transporter arrives with a lane, a weight and a loading date, and whoever answers first stays in the conversation. GullySales sets the enquiry format, the same-day rate routine and one register for calls, WhatsApp and load boards, with a follow-up date on every quote.

A sorting hopper in a depot yard: a wide gold hopper on a steel frame, its throat splitting into three chutes that feed three floor bins, one heaped past its own spout, one half caught, one barely started

What lead generation means

Lead generation is the combined work of every channel that brings in a new enquiry, whether from search, adverts, referrals or a stall at an exhibition. GullySales runs these channels together and reports the number of enquiries each one produced, not the activity behind it.

For freight and transport companies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • Half your enquiries are brokers reselling your rate

He will take your number, add a margin and quote the shipper himself. Knowing which is which changes what you say.

  • A load tonight and a load next week are different jobs

One is capacity you fill at whatever the market pays. The other is worth a proper quotation and a call on Thursday.

  • The material decides the vehicle and the rate

Steel coil, FMCG cartons and chemicals need different bodies and different permits, and a rate given before asking is one you withdraw.

What we do

What we deliver for freight and transport companies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. An enquiry format that captures the load

Route, weight, material, vehicle wanted, loading date and the destination gate, asked on the first call or taken through the form.

Result: You can quote without three more phone calls.

  2. A same-day rate routine

A named person and a time limit for sending rates, so a request at eleven does not wait until the owner is free that evening.

Result: You are quoting while the shipper is still deciding.

  3. One register for calls, WhatsApp and the boards

Every rate request in a single list with the lane, the rate given and who asked, including the ones that came through a load board.

Result: Nothing gets quoted twice at two different rates.

  4. Broker and direct shipper tagged apart

Each enquiry marked as a broker, a trader or a plant at first contact, with different follow-up written for each.

Result: You stop treating a reseller as a new account.

  5. A follow-up date on every quotation

A date in the calendar against each rate sent, with a call and a note of whether it was won, lost or never loaded at all.

Result: Quotes stop disappearing after one message.

  6. Quotes against loads booked, by lane

A monthly count of rate requests, quotes sent and loads actually moved on each route, against the baseline taken at the start.

Result: You learn which lanes you win and at what rate.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries generated
  • Cost per enquiry
  • Enquiries by source

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

How do we tell a broker from a direct shipper?
Ask who the consignor is and where the material loads. A broker will not give you the consignee and asks only for the rate. That is not a reason to refuse him, but it changes how far you shave the rate.
A customer asks for a rate and then disappears.
Usually he was collecting numbers for a comparison, or the load slipped. Put a date on the quote and call on it. Half the loads that go quiet move a fortnight later, and the transporter who called is the one who gets it.
Can marketing really help a transport business that runs on relationships?
Yes, when it supports the relationships instead of replacing them. A clear capability profile, ready documents and a tracked follow-up help the owner open more doors, and search pages bring SMEs that were booking through brokers.
How do we get onto a large manufacturer's transporter panel?
Usually through a trial load when their regular carrier fails, or a formal vendor registration. Keeping in touch with the logistics manager and having your documents ready means you are the one they call when that moment comes.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile usually show in weeks, because the enquiries already exist. Ads show in days once follow-up is ready. SEO and content take months. The audit tells you which applies to you.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
