Freight and transport companies · Search engine optimisation

Win the lane search, because a trader types two city names.

Search for a transport company is a lane typed as two city names, with a vehicle or a part load attached. GullySales writes a page for each route you run, names the transit days and the vehicle types, and reports enquiries by lane rather than by visits.

What search engine optimisation means

Search engine optimisation (SEO) is the work of getting your website to appear when a buyer searches Google for what you sell. GullySales builds pages around real search terms, fixes technical issues that block ranking, and tracks which searches actually bring enquiries.

For freight and transport companies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • The plant does not search, the trader does

A factory's logistics head already has a panel, so the search traffic on your lanes is the small trader with three pallets and no transporter.

  • A lane page beats a services page

One page listing twenty routes ranks for none of them, while a page for a single route with transit days and vehicle sizes holds its own.

  • Part load is a different search from full load

Somebody with half a tonne types parcel or part load service, and a page written for a 32-foot container never reaches him.

What we do

What we deliver for freight and transport companies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A page for each lane you actually run

One page per route naming the transit days, the vehicle types, the commodities you handle and the loading points at either end.

Result: A trader searching that route finds you directly.

  2. Separate pages for part load and full load

Different pages, wording and forms for a half-tonne consignment and a full container, because those are two different businesses.

Result: The right enquiry reaches the right desk.

  3. Pages for the specialised vehicles you run

Reefer, tanker, trailer and over-dimensional work set out with the capacities, the permits and the routes you have already done.

Result: A specialist enquiry stops going to a broker.

  4. A quote form asking lane, weight and date

The form built to capture the route, the weight, the material, the vehicle wanted and the loading date, ahead of the phone number.

Result: Your first reply can carry an actual rate.

  5. Speed and readability on a phone

Pages that open quickly on a phone at a loading point, with the number reachable without scrolling past a company profile.

Result: A supervisor at a gate can call you in seconds.

  6. Enquiries reported by lane

A monthly count of enquiries, quotes and loads booked split by route, read against the figures from before the pages existed.

Result: You see which lanes the site actually feeds.

How the result is measured

  • Ranking positions
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from organic search

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

How many lane pages do we need?
One for each route you run regularly, starting with the return lanes where trucks go back empty. Six good pages beat sixty thin ones. Add a page only when you can name the transit days and the vehicles honestly.
Our customers are factories. Do they even search?
The purchase team does, when a regular transporter fails on a Friday. That is a small number of searches and every one is a trial load. The bigger volume is traders and small manufacturers.
Can marketing really help a transport business that runs on relationships?
Yes, when it supports the relationships instead of replacing them. A clear capability profile, ready documents and a tracked follow-up help the owner open more doors, and search pages bring SMEs that were booking through brokers.
How do we get onto a large manufacturer's transporter panel?
Usually through a trial load when their regular carrier fails, or a formal vendor registration. Keeping in touch with the logistics manager and having your documents ready means you are the one they call when that moment comes.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile usually show in weeks, because the enquiries already exist. Ads show in days once follow-up is ready. SEO and content take months. The audit tells you which applies to you.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
