Freight and transport companies · Social media

Logistics managers are on LinkedIn and your competitors are not.

Social media for a transporter is LinkedIn for the logistics managers who award lanes, and disciplined WhatsApp groups for the brokers and forwarders who pass loads. GullySales sets both up, builds the posting on real movements, and writes the rule about naming customers and cargo.

A community noticeboard under a small pitched roof, posters layered four deep, with a fresh notice just pinned over the corner of an older one

What social media means

Social media is the ongoing posting your business does on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn to stay visible to customers and prospects between purchases. GullySales plans a posting calendar, writes captions and designs the images so the page looks active and answers what a visitor would ask.

For freight and transport companies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • An over-dimensional movement is the post people remember

A transformer on a hydraulic axle through a narrow ghat road is the one piece of transport content anyone stops for.

  • Naming a shipper can cost you the account

Cargo, routes and volumes are commercial information, and a photograph with a consignee's name on the carton is a problem.

  • Broker groups move loads faster than any feed

The return load you need tonight comes out of a group, and a transporter who only takes and never posts stops being served.

What we do

What we deliver for freight and transport companies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Owner and company profiles built around lanes

Profiles naming the routes, the fleet and the industries you move, so a manager searching a lane finds a person rather than a page.

Result: You are findable before the first call.

  2. A posting routine taken from real movements

A method for photographing loadings, difficult deliveries and specialised vehicles, with captions written for a dispatch audience.

Result: Posting stops waiting for somebody's idea.

  3. A written rule on customers and cargo

What may be shown of a consignment, a consignee name or a rate, set down for the drivers and staff who take the photographs.

Result: Nobody loses an account over a photograph.

  4. Discipline for broker and forwarder groups

Which groups to sit in, what to post, how often to offer capacity and how to answer a load request, written as a routine.

Result: You get offered loads instead of ignored.

  5. Festive and peak capacity announcements

Posts offering committed vehicles before the festive and harvest weeks, when shippers cannot find trucks at any rate.

Result: Shippers short of capacity think of you first.

  6. Enquiries traced back to a post or a group

A monthly note of which loads and enquiries came from LinkedIn or a group, against the position before the routine started.

Result: You can tell whether it is worth the time.

How the result is measured

  • Posts published
  • Engagement rate
  • Enquiries from social profiles

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the work runs for freight and transport companies

  1. 1

    Assess

In the free audit we map where your loads come from, how quotations are tracked, how often trucks return empty, and how dependent you are on a few shippers.

  2. 2

    Get the paperwork ready

A capability profile and a vendor registration kit, so any shipper or procurement team can be answered quickly.

  3. 3

    Track every quotation

A CRM for rate enquiries by lane, with follow-up on every quote given.

  4. 4

    Find the right shippers

Target lists by lane, return-lane campaigns, industrial estate visits and search pages for your routes.

  5. 5

    Keep and grow accounts

Monthly account reviews on volume, service and payment, and planned calls before a contract renewal.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Is LinkedIn worth it for a transporter?
Yes, because logistics and procurement people are there and almost no transport companies are. A profile naming your lanes and fleet gets found when somebody searches a route. It will not replace a call, but it makes the call easier.
Can we post photographs of our customers' loads?
Ask first, and never show a consignee name, an invoice or a rate. Cargo and volumes are commercial information. Photograph the vehicle, the securing and the road instead, which is what people want to look at anyway.
Can marketing really help a transport business that runs on relationships?
Yes, when it supports the relationships instead of replacing them. A clear capability profile, ready documents and a tracked follow-up help the owner open more doors, and search pages bring SMEs that were booking through brokers.
How do we get onto a large manufacturer's transporter panel?
Usually through a trial load when their regular carrier fails, or a formal vendor registration. Keeping in touch with the logistics manager and having your documents ready means you are the one they call when that moment comes.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile usually show in weeks, because the enquiries already exist. Ads show in days once follow-up is ready. SEO and content take months. The audit tells you which applies to you.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
