Orthodontic clinics · Buyer persona

Write down who is deciding: the parent, the teenager, the adult or the dentist.

A buyer persona for an orthodontic clinic describes who actually decides on treatment. The parent signs and pays, the teenager lives with it, the adult chooses for themselves and the dentist decides where a case goes. GullySales builds a short card for each from your own consultation records.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

Orthodontic clinics: show a real physical business scene illustrating Adjustment visit diary. Book short recurring visits by chair and clinician, with the next interval set when the current visit closes.

What buyer persona means

A buyer persona is a plain description of the kind of customer who actually buys from you. It includes what they search, what worries them and who else they ask before deciding. GullySales builds this from real enquiries and past sales rather than a generic template, then uses it to write every page and advert.

Last updated 18 Oct 2026. Rules for this trade differ by state and professional body, and they change. We describe restrictions in general terms, so check the current position with your own council or adviser before you publish anything.

For orthodontic clinics

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The parent pays and the teenager must agree”

A teenager who feels pushed into braces misses appointments and tires of the process. The parent is the buyer, but the card must also record what the teenager worries about, such as looking different at school.

  • “The working adult compares price and discretion”

An adult considering aligners asks how visible the treatment is, how many office hours it costs and how the instalment fits a salary. The card records those concerns in the adult's own words.

  • “The family dentist is a buyer of trust”

A dentist sends a case to the clinic they trust to treat well and report back. Their card lists what they need: accepted cases, a clear plan and a note after the first visit.

  • “A grandparent or partner may hold the final say”

The person paying can be a relative who was not in the room. A note of who else decides, written at the consultation, explains why a plan stalls after the family leaves.

What we do

What we deliver for orthodontic clinics.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A parent persona card

A one-page profile of the parent of a teenager: what starts the search, what they fear and what they compare.

Result: A card the desk and the doctor can read before the first call.

  2. A teenager note

A short companion note on what a teenager worries about, written for how the doctor speaks in the room.

Result: A prompt for how to address the child, not only the parent.

  3. An adult aligner persona card

A profile of the working adult, with worries on appearance, time off work and instalments.

Result: A card that shapes how aligner enquiries are answered.

  4. A referring dentist persona card

A profile of what a general dentist needs before and after a referral.

Result: A card that guides the note sent back to the dentist.

  5. A check against dropped-out patients

A short review of patients who stopped or never started, to test whether the cards describe the real buyer.

Result: A list of corrections to each card.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiry match to persona
  • Conversion rate by persona
  • Content aligned to persona

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the buyer persona work runs

  1. 1

    Understand the current view

We start with how your team currently describes the customer, since the gap between belief and reality is often the finding itself.

  2. 2

    Audit past enquiries and sales

We look at recent enquiries and closed deals to see who actually bought, not who was assumed to buy.

  3. 3

    Interview customers and staff

Short, structured conversations surface the real language, worries and triggers behind a purchase.

  4. 4

    Build the personas

Findings are written into short, usable persona documents rather than a long report.

  5. 5

    Apply to your marketing

We show exactly where each persona should change a page, an ad or a script you already have.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

How many personas does the clinic need?
Start with the parent, the adult and the referring dentist. Add others only when your records show a different buyer.
Are these cards facts about our patients?
No. They are drafts built from your own consultation notes and corrected by what patients and dentists say. Rewrite any line that does not match what your desk hears.
Can a persona guide how we word offers?
It guides tone and the questions you answer. Offers and claims are still limited by advertising rules that differ by profession and state, so check with your own council or adviser.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
