Hospitals · Lead generation
Bring in enquiries for the departments with spare capacity.
Lead generation for a hospital means directing search, referral and camp activity towards the departments that have room to grow, rather than treating every enquiry as equally valuable. GullySales builds the pages and referral tracking needed and records where each enquiry came from.
Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What lead generation means
Lead generation is the combined work of every channel that brings in a new enquiry, whether from search, adverts, referrals or a stall at an exhibition. GullySales runs these channels together and reports the number of enquiries each one produced, not the activity behind it.
Last updated 5 Oct 2026. Rules for this trade differ by state and professional body, and they change. We describe restrictions in general terms, so check the current position with your own council or adviser before you publish anything.
For hospitals
Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.
“A full department does not need more leads”
Sending enquiries to a maternity ward already booked for the season wastes budget a slower diagnostics wing needs.
“Referral leads need the same discipline as paid leads”
A patient sent by a lab or a GP is a lead too, and loses value if nobody records the source.
“A callback form beats a long enquiry form”
A worried family fills in a phone number for a callback far more often than a ten-field appointment form.
What we do
What we deliver for hospitals.
Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.
A capacity-matched enquiry plan
Search, referral and camp activity directed towards departments with room to grow, instead of treating every enquiry as equally valuable.
Result: Effort goes towards filling the beds and slots that are actually empty.
Referral source tracking
A record of which GP, lab or past patient sent each enquiry, so referral relationships can be recognised and grown.
Result: A referral source is never lost to a missing record.
A callback-first enquiry form
A short callback request replacing a long appointment form, matched to how a worried family actually prefers to reach out.
Result: More families complete the enquiry instead of abandoning a long form.
A procedure and cost-range page
A page naming the actual procedure and a cost range for each priority department, written to attract the enquiry that fits.
Result: Fewer enquiries turn out to be the wrong fit for the department.
How the result is measured
- Enquiries generated
- Cost per enquiry
- Enquiries by source
Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.
Where enquiries come from
The places a hospital's enquiries arrive, and what to record at each.
- Call to the reception or helpline
- Record the department, the doctor asked for, whether an appointment or an admission is wanted and the insurance held. Give the next available appointment and log the call time.
- WhatsApp message to the hospital's number
- Reply with the same short note each time: departments, how to book and what documents to bring. Record the department asked about, and keep medical advice out of the chat.
- Referral from a general practitioner or another doctor
- Log the referring doctor and the department. Report back to the referrer as the rules of the medical profession allow. Never attach payment or gifts to a referral, and check your council's rules.
- Health camp or screening attendee
- Record the camp, the person and the department they may need. Contact only people who gave consent, and do not use the screening result as a sales message.
- Insurance, corporate or TPA enquiry
- Note the insurer or employer, the plan and the cashless process. Give the desk contact. Record the empanelment status, since patients ask about it before they book.
- Calls from the Google Business Profile
- Check the profile's calls against the reception log, and note the department asked for. Return missed calls and record whether an appointment followed.
Who it is for
This is written for these hospitals.
- Multi-speciality hospitals
- Single-speciality hospitals, maternity, orthopaedic or eye
- Nursing homes
- Day-care surgery centres
- Corporate hospital chains with several branches
- Diagnostic-centre-led hospitals
- Hospitals attached to medical colleges
- Government-empanelled private hospitals
Not for
It is not the right fit if.
- The department is already full, and more enquiries would only lengthen the wait for patients you already have.
- No one is assigned to return the calls, so an enquiry would be recorded and then left.
- You count a casualty call or an ambulance request as a lead, when that is an emergency and must go to the clinical team.
How it works
How the lead generation work runs
The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.
- 1
Understand your capacity
We ask how many enquiries your team can answer well, who answers after hours, and what a good enquiry looks like. Without this, the system fills a funnel nobody is watching.
- 2
Audit current sources
We read your call log, WhatsApp chats, enquiry sheet and platform dashboards. The baseline is recorded: enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order.
- 3
Strategise the channel mix
Search and maps are chosen for people ready to buy, ads for people who are not yet looking, and content and referrals for trust.
- 4
Implement capture and follow-up
Pages, forms, tags, the lead record and the first-reply message are built and tested end to end. We submit test enquiries ourselves before any media money is spent.
- 5
Measure and optimise
Enquiries are traced to source and judged by what became orders, not by volume alone. Channels that fill the sheet with poor enquiries are cut back. How often you are reported to is agreed in writing.

Chord Road Hospital
- Situation
- Patients who knew the hospital trusted it. Patients who searched for a department or a treatment in the area did not find it.
- What we did
- Website rebuilt around patient needs
- Search visibility
- Social media on a schedule
- Review management
- Result
- Organic traffic increased 60% within six months
- Online appointment bookings increased 40%
- Social following grew 45%, and engagement on it rose 70%
Nanda Arthritis and Rheumatology Center
- Situation
- There was no website, so a patient looking for a rheumatologist had no way to learn about the centre. Enquiries were few, and the ones that arrived came by word of mouth.
- What we did
- A website for patients
- Search work
- Google Business and reviews
- Lead capture and advertising
- Result
- No numbers were recorded for this engagement. The work is described in full in the case study.

Where this fits
Three pieces of sales work, in this order.
This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.
Step 1
Sales audit
Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.
Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.
Step 2 · you are here
Sales process design
One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.
Start here if every salesperson sells differently.
Step 3
Sales management
A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.
Start here if the team has targets and no routine.
