Telehealth and online consultation platforms · Social media

Post what a patient would send to her sister, not what an app would announce.

Social media marketing for a telehealth platform means using Instagram, YouTube and WhatsApp channels to share short, doctor-reviewed explanations that people save and send on. The goal is a booking, not a follower. GullySales plans the posts with your doctors and keeps them within the rules on health advertising.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What social media means

Social media is the ongoing posting your business does on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn to stay visible to customers and prospects between purchases. GullySales plans a posting calendar, writes captions and designs the images so the page looks active and answers what a visitor would ask.

Last updated 11 Oct 2026. Rules for this trade differ by state and professional body, and they change. We describe restrictions in general terms, so check the current position with your own council or adviser before you publish anything.

For telehealth and online consultation platforms

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Platform rules on health content”

Social platforms restrict some health claims and targeting, so a post that works on one account may be limited on another.

  • “Doctors do not want to be on camera”

Many doctors hesitate to appear on video, and a feed of stock images with no face looks like an advertisement.

  • “Comments ask for diagnosis”

People write their symptoms under a post and ask what they have, and a careless reply can mislead or break the rules.

What we do

What we deliver for telehealth and online consultation platforms.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A platform choice for each speciality

A decision on where each speciality's audience is: Instagram for skin and mental health awareness, YouTube for long explanations, WhatsApp channels for reminders.

Result: Effort goes where the patient actually is.

  2. Short explainer posts reviewed by a doctor

A set of posts and short videos on common concerns, each reviewed and approved by a named doctor before it goes out.

Result: Posts are useful and safe to publish.

  3. A comment and message routine

A rule for replying to comments and DMs: no diagnosis, a polite pointer to book, and a private route for details.

Result: Comments lead to bookings, not to medical advice online.

  4. A consent form for people on camera

A written consent for each doctor and staff member who appears, with a note of what may be used and for how long.

Result: Nobody appears in a post without agreeing.

  5. A festival and awareness-day calendar

A list of days when topics suit the platform, such as awareness days for diabetes or mental health, planned with your doctors.

Result: Posts match what people are thinking about.

How the result is measured

  • Posts published
  • Engagement rate
  • Enquiries from social profiles

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Platform for this buyer

Pick the platform by who you want to reach, and post for one action.

Instagram Reels for skin, hair and mental health awareness
A doctor-reviewed explanation in under a minute with captions in the viewer's language. The one action is a booking link in the profile, not a diagnosis in the comments.
YouTube for long explanations
Longer videos on how an online consultation works or a condition's follow-up. Add chapters and a booking link. People search YouTube in their own language.
WhatsApp channels and broadcasts for existing patients
Send reminders and a short health note to patients who opted in. Check WhatsApp's current business policy and let people leave.
Facebook groups and parent communities
Join groups for parents or senior citizens only where the rules allow. Answer in general terms, avoid selling, and let the profile do the work.
What not to post
Do not post patient photographs, before-and-after images, results, medicine names or any claim that implies a cure. Check each platform's current rules.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the social media work runs

  1. 1

    Understand your audience and platforms

We identify which platforms your specific buyers actually use and what kind of content they respond to.

  2. 2

    Audit current presence

We review existing pages, past content performance and any gaps in consistency.

  3. 3

    Build the content calendar

A plan is created, balancing genuine value with occasional direct offers.

  4. 4

    Implement and post

Content is created and published consistently on the agreed schedule.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track enquiries alongside engagement and adjust the content mix based on what actually performs.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Who should be on camera?
A doctor who is comfortable, with written consent and within your council's rules. If nobody is willing, use voice over simple graphics, and keep the doctor's name on the post as the reviewer.
How do we handle people asking for a diagnosis in comments?
Reply that a doctor can discuss it in a consultation and give the booking link. Never diagnose or advise on medicines in public. Move any detail to a private message and then to a booking.
Should we post on festivals?
Only when a health topic fits, such as eating during a fast or heat in summer. A greeting graphic with the logo adds nothing. Plan these posts with a doctor so the advice is safe.
Can we use patient stories?
Only with the patient's written consent, and rules on testimonials in health advertising differ and change, so check with your adviser first. Many platforms avoid them. A doctor explaining a common concern is safer.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
