Heavy equipment and forklift dealers · Local SEO

Put the store, the parts counter and the service radius on the map properly.

Local search for an equipment dealership is the map listing a contractor finds when he needs a part today or a technician tomorrow. GullySales claims a listing for each store, sets the categories and counter hours, and states the field service radius as it actually is.

A market cross in a small town square: a stepped stone cross of four worn tiers standing in a ring of cobbles, a coil of stall rope left on the bottom step, a chalk pitch marked out on the stones and a chalk arrow pointing in from the nearest lane

What local SEO means

Local SEO is the work of making your business show up for searches that name your town or locality, such as a service plus an area name. GullySales sets up locality pages, local citations and map listings so nearby customers find you before a competitor across town.

For heavy equipment and forklift dealers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • Each store needs its own listing and its own reviews

A group running four stores off one listing loses the searches in three towns, and the reviews of the shop nearest the job never surface.

  • The category decides which phone rings

Construction equipment supplier, forklift dealer and equipment rental agency bring different callers. Pick the one matching what you want to sell and add the rest as services.

  • A lowboy driver needs to know which gate to use

Your yard entrance is not your office door. A pin dropped on the front step sends a truck to a gate it cannot turn into, and the dispatcher hears about it.

What we do

What we deliver for heavy equipment and forklift dealers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A claimed, verified listing for each store

Every location set up in its own right, with its address, phone, manager and reviews attached to the store people actually visit.

Result: The nearest shop shows up for the nearest contractor.

  2. Categories and services set for parts, service and rental

A primary category chosen for what you want more of, with parts sales, field service, shop repair, rental and attachment sales added as services.

Result: The listing attracts the calls you can make money on.

  3. Parts counter and shop hours listed separately

Counter hours, shop hours, Saturday opening and holiday closures kept current, with the after-hours parts arrangement stated plainly.

Result: Nobody drives out to a counter that shut at noon.

  4. The pin moved to the yard entrance

The map pin and the directions set on the gate a truck can get through, with a note on where to check in.

Result: Deliveries and trade-ins arrive at the right gate.

  5. Photographs of the yard, the shop and the counter

Current pictures of the lot, the service bays, the parts counter and the field service trucks, replacing the stock image most dealer listings still carry.

Result: A buyer sees the size of the operation before he drives.

  6. Service radius stated honestly

How far a field technician travels, what the call-out arrangement is and which counties are covered from which store, written into the listing and the site.

Result: The wrong calls stop and the right ones start.

  7. Calls and direction requests reported monthly

Listing calls, direction requests and website taps by store, set against the figures recorded before anything was changed.

Result: You can see the listing earning its keep.

How the result is measured

  • Map pack ranking
  • Local search visibility
  • Enquiries by locality

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Who it is for

This is written for these heavy equipment and forklift dealers.

  • Full-line construction equipment dealers for a single manufacturer
  • Independent used equipment dealers and brokers
  • Forklift and material handling dealers running a service fleet
  • Compact tractor and agricultural equipment dealers
  • Crane, telehandler and aerial lift specialists
  • Attachment, tyre and wear parts suppliers
  • Dealers running a rental fleet alongside sales
  • Single-location dealers competing with a multi-state group

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the work runs for heavy equipment and forklift dealers

  1. 1

    Trace last quarter's enquiries

In the free audit call we follow the listing enquiries and phone calls you received. How long did each wait, how many got a quote, and how many quotes were followed up?

  2. 2

    Fix the first reply

Agreed overlap hours, a routine for answering listing enquiries and machine-down calls, and a record of every enquiry that both your salesmen and we can see.

  3. 3

Clean the inventory and the pages

Sold units down, new arrivals up with hours and photos, and model pages written for the jobs those machines do in your territory.

  4. 4

    Rebuild the install base

Customer, machine and serial number pulled into one list, so parts, service and trade-cycle campaigns can be sent to the people who own the machines.

  5. 5

Chase the quotes and the rentals

A follow-up date on every quote, a conversion call on every long rental, and a monthly report that shows where machines were won and lost.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • Hours that fit your day, agreed up front

Which hours we overlap with yours is settled before any work starts, so you know when a reply is coming and when it is not.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

We cover four counties from one yard. Should we list an address in each?
No. A listing at an address you do not hold gets suspended and the reviews vanish with it. Set the service area on the one listing, and build a page on your own site for each county you cover.
Do direction requests mean anything?
For a parts counter they do. A contractor asking for directions is already in his truck. If that number rises after the counter hours go on the listing, the listing is doing its job.
What hours do you cover?
The ones we agree with you before anything starts, and they go in writing. We name which hours of your working day are covered and which are not. We do not claim a US phone presence or round-the-clock answering.
Can you handle the leads from MachineryTrader and Machinio?
Yes, that is usually the first thing we take over. The enquiry is acknowledged, the machine's availability is checked against your inventory, and the buyer reaches your salesman with the basic questions already answered. Every enquiry is logged, so you can finally see what each listing subscription actually returns.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile usually show in weeks, because the enquiries already exist. Ads show in days once follow-up is ready. SEO and content take months. The audit tells you which applies to you.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
