Heavy equipment and forklift dealers · Search engine optimisation

Rank for parts, service and your own name, not for used machines.

Search engine optimisation for an equipment dealership decides what a contractor finds when he searches a part number, a brand plus your town, or the name on your salesman's card. GullySales builds the parts, service and attachment pages that can rank, because the marketplaces already own the used machine searches.

What search engine optimisation means

Search engine optimisation (SEO) is the work of getting your website to appear when a buyer searches Google for what you sell. GullySales builds pages around real search terms, fixes technical issues that block ranking, and tracks which searches actually bring enquiries.

For heavy equipment and forklift dealers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • The marketplaces outrank you for your own inventory

A used excavator on MachineryTrader will beat your machine detail page for that model almost every time. Your site has to earn the searches those sites answer badly.

  • Parts and service searches are the winnable ones

A contractor hunting a hydraulic pump for a specific model, or a technician for a brand within driving distance, wants a dealer rather than a marketplace.

  • Your dealership name is a large share of your traffic

People type it after a salesman hands them a card. What they find has to show the shop, the counties you cover and the parts counter hours.

What we do

What we deliver for heavy equipment and forklift dealers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Parts and service pages by brand and model

A page for the brands you carry and the repairs your shop actually does, written with the part names and model prefixes a buyer types.

Result: The searches nobody else is answering come to your counter.

  2. Machine detail pages with something of your own on them

Hours, condition notes, photographs of that unit and a line on transport out of your yard, added to the manufacturer spec text every dealer publishes word for word.

Result: Your inventory pages stop being a copy of thirty other dealers.

  3. A page for each store and the counties it serves

One page per location naming the towns, the brands stocked there, the shop bays and how far a field technician drives from it.

Result: A search for your brand plus a town lands on the right store.

  4. Attachment and coupler pages for the machines you sell

Pages for the buckets, grapples, breakers and mulching heads that fit the compact machines on your lot, with the coupler named.

Result: Attachment orders arrive from outside your usual radius.

  5. The technical faults holding good pages back

Slow inventory pages, broken links left by sold units and duplicate title tags across a feed-driven site, found and fixed.

Result: A page that deserved to rank is no longer blocked by something fixable.

  6. Monthly reporting by page group

Search traffic and enquiries split between parts, service, inventory and dealership name searches, set against the baseline recorded before work started.

Result: You can see which group of pages is paying for itself.

How the result is measured

  • Ranking positions
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from organic search

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

  • Independent used equipment dealers and brokers
  • Forklift and material handling dealers running a service fleet
  • Compact tractor and agricultural equipment dealers

  • Single-location dealers competing with a multi-state group

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the work runs for heavy equipment and forklift dealers

  1. 1

    Trace last quarter's enquiries

In the free audit call we follow the listing enquiries and phone calls you received. How long did each wait, how many got a quote, and how many quotes were followed up?

  2. 2

    Fix the first reply

Agreed overlap hours, a routine for answering listing enquiries and machine-down calls, and a record of every enquiry that both your salesmen and we can see.

  3. 3

Clean the inventory and the pages

Sold units down, new arrivals up with hours and photos, and model pages written for the jobs those machines do in your territory.

  4. 4

    Rebuild the install base

Customer, machine and serial number pulled into one list, so parts, service and trade-cycle campaigns can be sent to the people who own the machines.

  5. 5

Chase the quotes and the rentals

A follow-up date on every quote, a conversion call on every long rental, and a monthly report that shows where machines were won and lost.

Proof

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • Hours that fit your day, agreed up front

Which hours we overlap with yours is settled before any work starts, so you know when a reply is coming and when it is not.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Can we outrank MachineryTrader for our own used machines?
No, and chasing it wastes money. Keep the listings current and let them do the used machine searches. Your site should be winning parts, service, attachments and brand-plus-town searches, which the marketplaces handle badly.
Our machine pages come from the manufacturer feed. Is that a problem?
It is, because every dealer running that feed publishes the same spec text. Add what is yours: the hour meter reading, the condition notes, photographs of the actual unit and a transport line. That is what a search engine has to separate you on.
What hours do you cover?
The ones we agree with you before anything starts, and they go in writing. We name which hours of your working day are covered and which are not. We do not claim a US phone presence or round-the-clock answering.
Can you handle the leads from MachineryTrader and Machinio?
Yes, that is usually the first thing we take over. The enquiry is acknowledged, the machine's availability is checked against your inventory, and the buyer reaches your salesman with the basic questions already answered. Every enquiry is logged, so you can finally see what each listing subscription actually returns.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile usually show in weeks, because the enquiries already exist. Ads show in days once follow-up is ready. SEO and content take months. The audit tells you which applies to you.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
