Home cleaning companies · Customer retention

Turn the one-off deep clean into the weekly slot before the crew leaves.

Retention in home cleaning is one move: the customer who booked a single deep clean becoming a household on a recurring visit. That is where the margin is, because you stop paying to find her every time. GullySales builds the offer made at the end of the deep clean and the routine that stops a contract dying quietly.

A 90-minute audit call and a written, scored report. Turnaround, reporting and term are agreed in writing after the audit.

What customer retention means

Customer retention is keeping an existing customer buying again rather than losing them to a competitor after the first purchase, usually cheaper than winning a new customer. GullySales sets a routine of check-ins and renewal reminders aimed at customers before they show signs of leaving.

For home cleaning companies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The deep clean is an audition, and the result is on the floor”

At the walk-through the flat looks better than it has in years and the customer knows she cannot hold it. That is the only moment a weekly or fortnightly visit sells itself. A phone call a week later is selling from memory.

  • “Contracts are lost on the cleaner changing, not on the rate”

The household got used to one person who knew where things go. Send somebody new without a word and the next message is a cancellation, whatever the rate is. Tell them in advance and send the new girl with the old one once.

  • “One missed visit ends a contract that took a year to build”

Nobody complains. The customer simply books somebody else next week and stops answering. The visit that did not happen has to be visible to you on the day, not at the end of the cycle.

What we do

What we deliver for home cleaning companies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. The recurring offer scripted for the walk-through

What the supervisor says while the customer is looking at the finished bathroom, with two visit patterns and a rate she can say yes to on the spot.

Result: Deep cleans convert into contracts at the door.

  2. A same-staff rule recorded against each household

The cleaners assigned to a contract written into the record, with a handover visit whenever somebody has to change.

Result: The family sees a face they know instead of a stranger.

  3. A missed-visit alert the same day

Any scheduled clean with no completion logged raised to the supervisor before the day ends, with a call to the household built into the response.

Result: You apologise and rebook before she starts searching.

  4. Win-back calls timed to the season

Households who took one deep clean and never returned, worked through in the weeks before Diwali and before the school year ends, when the job is on their mind anyway.

Result: Old customers come back without you paying to find them.

  5. An honest view on whether a loyalty scheme earns its keep

Whether a prepaid block of visits or a small discount for a longer commitment suits your costs, or whether the same money is better spent on keeping the same crew on the house.

Result: You spend on the thing that actually holds the customer.

  6. Contract retention measured against the baseline

How many recurring households you had when the work started, how many you have now, and how many deep cleans became contracts.

Result: Retention is a count on a page, not an impression.

How the result is measured

  • Retention rate
  • Repeat purchase rate
  • Customers won back

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. 01 · First

    Free audit call

90 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · After the call

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. 06 · At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the work runs for home cleaning companies

  1. 1

Audit the enquiry and quoting process

We check how fast a WhatsApp or call enquiry gets a quote today, how staff verification is shown, and whether recurring customers are tracked.

  2. 2

Fix the local listing and trust signals

The Business Profile completed with verified-staff photographs and real before-and-after pictures, replacing stock imagery that raises doubt.

  3. 3

    Build job-specific pages

A page for each job, such as deep cleaning or sofa cleaning, with a clear price range and a way to book a slot directly.

  4. 4

    Speed up the quote

A same-day quoting routine on WhatsApp, with a standard price list for common jobs so staff can answer without escalating every enquiry.

  5. 5

    Keep recurring customers booked

A renewal reminder before a maintenance plan lapses, and a quick recovery call for anyone who reschedules more than once.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Customers say a weekly clean is too expensive after the deep clean. What then?
Offer fortnightly, and offer it before she raises the price. A fortnightly household at a lower rate is worth far more over a year than a deep clean you have to win again. Write the smaller pattern into the offer so the supervisor is not negotiating on the spot.
How do we stop customers hiring our cleaner directly?
Pay and treat the cleaner well enough that she does not want to, keep the verification, replacement and insurance visible to the customer, and put the terms in the contract. You will still lose some. The ones you keep are kept by the things a private arrangement cannot provide.
How do you handle the trust issue of letting staff into someone's home?
We put your verification process and staff photographs directly on the listing and website, since that is what a customer checks before booking.
Do you decide our rates for each job?
No, the rates stay yours. We present them clearly, for example per job for a 2BHK deep clean or per seat for a sofa, based on what you already charge.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after the audit, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile are the quickest to show, because the enquiries already exist. Ads can follow soon after follow-up is in place. SEO and content take longer. How long each takes depends on your business, and the audit tells you which applies to you. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 90 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the review meetings.
