GullySales

Home cleaning companies · Referral marketing

One clean flat can sell the whole tower if somebody asks.

Referral work in home cleaning has two sides: the neighbour in the same building who saw your van, and the brokers, packers and interior contractors who hand over empty flats all year. GullySales builds the ask made at the end of a job and the working relationships with the people who create cleaning work in the first place.

A 90-minute audit call and a written, scored report. Turnaround, reporting and term are agreed in writing after the audit.

What referral marketing means

Referral marketing is asking an existing customer to recommend you to someone they know, usually with a reward for both sides. It differs from a loyalty scheme because it brings in a new customer rather than a repeat purchase. GullySales builds the ask and the reward into a point where a customer is already satisfied.

For home cleaning companies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Your customer is already in a WhatsApp group with two hundred neighbours”

Somebody in that group asks for a cleaning recommendation most weeks. Ask her, at the walk-through, to put your number in the next time it comes up, and give her something short enough to paste.

  • “The people who hand over empty flats are better referrers than customers”

Brokers, packers and movers, and interior contractors know a fortnight in advance which flat needs a deep clean before somebody moves in. One broker doing ten handovers a year is worth more than ten happy households.

  • “If you pay for referrals, do it in the open”

A commission to a broker or a society secretary is a normal arrangement in this trade. Agree the amount in writing and do not fund it by quietly raising the customer's rate, because a customer who works out she paid for the introduction writes about it.

What we do

What we deliver for home cleaning companies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A forwardable message the customer can paste

Two lines and a number, written so a happy customer can drop it into her society group without editing anything, handed over at the walk-through.

Result: The recommendation arrives in the group in a usable form.

  2. A list of the handover trades in your areas

Brokers, packers and movers, interior contractors and property managers working the localities you cover, with who has been approached and what came of it.

Result: You know which introductions are worth calling again.

  3. A written arrangement for anyone you pay

What the fee is, when it becomes due, and a clear statement that the customer's rate does not change because of it.

Result: Nobody is negotiating a commission on the phone at the last minute.

  4. Society committees approached as accounts

An approach to the secretary or the facility manager covering common area work and a rate for residents, since one committee decision opens a hundred flats.

Result: You get into the building through the front door.

  5. A referral field on every new enquiry

One question at booking about who mentioned you, recorded against the job, so the broker or the neighbour who sent it can be thanked.

Result: You can tell which building and which trade is feeding you.

  6. A thank you that actually reaches the sender

A consistent way of acknowledging a referral once the job is done and paid for, agreed in advance so it does not depend on who remembers.

Result: The person who sent you work sends more.

How the result is measured

  • Referrals received
  • Referral conversion rate
  • Cost per referred customer

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. 01 · First

    Free audit call

90 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · After the call

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. 06 · At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the work runs for home cleaning companies

  1. 1

Audit the enquiry and quoting process

We check how fast a WhatsApp or call enquiry gets a quote today, how staff verification is shown, and whether recurring customers are tracked.

  2. 2

Fix the local listing and trust signals

The Business Profile completed with verified-staff photographs and real before-and-after pictures, replacing stock imagery that raises doubt.

  3. 3

    Build job-specific pages

A page for each job, such as deep cleaning or sofa cleaning, with a clear price range and a way to book a slot directly.

  4. 4

    Speed up the quote

A same-day quoting routine on WhatsApp, with a standard price list for common jobs so staff can answer without escalating every enquiry.

  5. 5

    Keep recurring customers booked

A renewal reminder before a maintenance plan lapses, and a quick recovery call for anyone who reschedules more than once.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Should we give the referring customer a free clean?
A discount on her next visit is easier to honour than a free one and does not wreck the job's economics. Whatever you choose, make it the same for everyone and pay it only after the referred job is completed and settled.
How do we get into a society without the committee blocking us?
Go to the committee rather than around it. Ask the secretary for permission to work in the building, offer the common areas at a sensible rate, and give the guard desk your staff list and verification. Crews who sneak in once get the whole company barred.
How do you handle the trust issue of letting staff into someone's home?
We put your verification process and staff photographs directly on the listing and website, since that is what a customer checks before booking.
Do you decide our rates for each job?
No, the rates stay yours. We present them clearly, for example per job for a 2BHK deep clean or per seat for a sofa, based on what you already charge.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile are the quickest to show, because the enquiries already exist. Ads can follow soon after follow-up is in place. SEO and content take longer. How long each takes depends on your business, and the audit tells you which applies to you. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 90 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the review meetings.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
