Home and office automation · Referral marketing

Be on the designer's list at concept stage, before the wiring drawing is frozen.

Almost all automation work arrives through an architect, an interior designer or an electrical contractor specifying you. Referral is not one channel among several here, it is the business. GullySales builds the list, writes the material a designer will actually forward, and keeps the introductions arriving on time.

A 90-minute audit call and a written, scored report. Turnaround, reporting and term are agreed in writing after the audit.

What referral marketing means

Referral marketing is asking an existing customer to recommend you to someone they know, usually with a reward for both sides. It differs from a loyalty scheme because it brings in a new customer rather than a repeat purchase. GullySales builds the ask and the reward into a point where a customer is already satisfied.

For home and office automation

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The referral has to land before the electrical drawing is frozen”

Once the wiring layout is signed off, automation turns into an argument about breaking walls and rerouting conduit. Being on the designer's list at concept stage is nearly the entire job of this channel.

  • “Give the designer something she can put her own name on”

A one-page scope note and a drawing she can drop into her client presentation gets forwarded. A brochure with your logo across the top gets left in the car, because she is not there to sell your brand.

  • “Commission is common in this trade and still needs saying out loud”

Designers are paid by many of the brands they specify. Decide what you do, write it down, and be able to answer a homeowner who asks directly. A client who discovers it later stops trusting the designer and you with her.

What we do

What we deliver for home and office automation.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A worked map of the design practices around you

Architects, interior designers, electrical contractors and builders in your city, sorted by the kind of project they do and whether they have ever specified you.

Result: You know who to approach next instead of waiting for the phone.

  2. A specification pack a designer can forward

Point schedules, conduit requirements and a scope note written for her drawing set, in a form she can attach without editing.

Result: Your system gets onto the drawing at concept stage.

  3. A finished-project set organised by budget and style

Short videos and photographs of completed homes and offices grouped so a designer can send a client something close to their own project.

Result: The designer sells the idea without you in the room.

  4. An experience centre visit she can book for a client

A standing invitation and a simple way for a designer to bring a client in, with the scenes set up for the kind of home they are building.

Result: The demo becomes part of her process, not a favour she has to ask for.

  5. Referrals counted by named designer

Enquiries, site visits and orders traced back to the individual who sent them, reviewed with your sales team.

Result: Your attention goes to the designers who actually send work.

  6. A written position on commission

What you do and do not pay, put in writing, so every person in your team answers a homeowner's question the same way.

Result: Nobody is caught out by a question in a client meeting.

How the result is measured

  • Referrals received
  • Referral conversion rate
  • Cost per referred customer

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How the work runs for home and office automation

  1. 1

    Assess

We look at your referral relationships with architects and builders, your website's ability to explain the process, your showroom experience, and where enquiries stall in a long sales cycle.

  2. 2

    Build the referral pipeline

A system for reaching new architects, interior designers and builders, and staying visible to the ones already sending you work.

  3. 3

Fix the website and showroom story

Clear process, timeline and after-sales information, and photographs and video that let a buyer picture the finished result.

  4. 4

    Bring enquiries in

Search visibility for smart-home and office-automation terms, and content that supports a long research phase.

  5. 5

    Hold the sale together

A follow-up routine for the weeks between a showroom visit and a signed order, so a slow decision does not go cold.

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

How do we reach architects we do not already know?
Through the work, not through a mailer. Offer to walk a live site with them, take the point schedule for a project they are already designing, and be useful once before you ask for anything. A designer risks her own client relationship on whoever she specifies, so she buys the person before the brand.
Should we pay a commission to interior designers?
That is your decision and it is a commercial one, not a legal question we can settle for you. What matters is that it is consistent and that you can say it out loud. An arrangement your own sales team describes differently to two clients will cost you both of them.
How long does it take to see results?
A stronger website and showroom experience help the next enquiry immediately. Building a steady architect and builder referral pipeline takes several months, since it depends on relationships, not a single campaign.
Do we need to advertise?
Most automation companies grow first through referrals and a strong website. Advertising helps when you want more direct enquiries from homeowners researching on their own.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after the audit, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 90 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the review meetings.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
