Gate, grill and fencing fabricators · Buyer journey

Follow the owner from the bare slab to the advance paid for the gate.

Buyer journey mapping for a gate, grill and fencing fabricator traces the steps from the first photograph saved on a phone to the measurement visit, the quote and the advance. GullySales marks where owners go quiet in your own enquiry record and fixes the stage that loses the most.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What buyer journey means

The buyer journey is the sequence of steps a customer actually takes, from first hearing about you to deciding to buy, which is rarely a single visit or call. GullySales maps this sequence for your business and checks that something useful happens at each step instead of only at the final call.

For gate, grill and fencing fabricators

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The buyer decides on design before he calls anyone”

By the time a homeowner messages you, he has saved four photographs. Your first reply meets a person with a picture in mind, not a blank page.

  • “The measurement visit is the turning point”

A workshop that comes, measures and writes a quote the same evening stands out from one that quotes over the phone.

  • “The decision is shared”

A wife, a brother, an architect or a builder has a say, and the quote that makes sense to someone who was not at the visit is the one chosen.

What we do

What we deliver for gate, grill and fencing fabricators.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. An enquiry-to-advance journey map

A map from the first search or referral through the visit and quote to the advance, drawn from your own register.

Result: You see where owners are dropping out.

  2. Drop-off points marked by stage

Each stage, from enquiry to measurement to quote to advance, with how many owners moved on.

Result: The stage losing the most owners is obvious.

  3. A separate path for builder orders

A shorter map for contractors and architects, who decide on dates and finish, not on one house.

Result: Builders are handled differently from homeowners.

  4. What to have ready at each stage

The photograph set, the sample board, the quote and the fitted-gate address a buyer may visit.

Result: No stage waits on a document that nobody has prepared.

  5. A follow-up trigger for each stage

A written point where a call or message goes out, matched to your team's capacity.

Result: No owner waits on a stage with nobody assigned.

How the result is measured

  • Drop-off rate by step
  • Time from first contact to sale
  • Steps with no content

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Stages of this buyer's journey

From a bare slab and a saved photograph to a paid advance, the steps an owner takes before choosing a fabricator.

The need appears
A slab is cast, a break-in happens, a child starts walking or an old gate rusts through. Ask what triggered the enquiry, since it tells you how urgent the job is and what the owner fears.
Photographs saved, workshops searched
The owner searches Google and Instagram and asks the neighbour. Have a gallery with captions and a listing with recent photographs, so you appear when he looks.
Photograph and price sent to three
He sends the same picture to several workshops. Reply with questions about width, material and finish, and offer a visit. A rate alone invites a comparison that you may not win.
The measurement visit
The owner sees who turns up. Measure, check the pillar and the floor, note the finish he likes, and send a written quote with the material named the same day.
Comparing quotes with the family
The family compares lines and asks relatives. Make the quote readable by a person who was not there, and call to ask whether anything is unclear.
Advance, fitting and the monsoon after
The owner pays an advance if he trusts the date. After fitting, check the finish and the closing, and plan a visit before the first rains to look at the paint.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the buyer journey work runs

  1. 1

    Understand the sales process

We walk through how a sale actually happens today, from the person who first answers an enquiry to the one who closes it.

  2. 2

    Audit the data

Website analytics, call logs and CRM records are pulled together to see where people actually drop out, not where they are assumed to.

  3. 3

    Interview buyers and staff

A handful of recent customers and the team who speak to them fill in the reasons behind the numbers.

  4. 4

    Build the map

Stages, touchpoints and drop-off points are set out in one document everyone can read the same way.

  5. 5

    Fix and measure

Each fix is implemented against the stage it addresses, and the drop-off rate at that stage is checked afterwards.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

How long does a family take to choose a gate fabricator?
It varies with the size of the job. A window grill may be settled in a day or two. A main gate for a new house can wait on the plastering, the budget and the family. Your own register will show how long your owners take.
Who else decides besides the person who calls us?
A spouse, a parent, a brother who built earlier, the architect or the builder, and in a flat the association. Ask who will review the quote, and write it so a person who was not at the visit can follow it.
An owner took the quote and went silent. How do we find out why?
Ask once, in plain words, what held him back: rate, design, finish, delay or another workshop. Record the reply. After several, you will see whether you lose on price or on a quote that was not clear.
How do we find where owners drop out?
Write each enquiry with the date it reached each stage: enquiry, visit, quote, advance. Count how many reached each. The stage with the biggest fall is where to work first. A simple sheet is enough to begin.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
