Swimming pool builders and maintenance companies · Reputation management

A leak in the first monsoon is a review waiting to be written.

Reputation management for a pool builder is how you read, answer and act on what owners say about a build or a maintenance contract, on Google, JustDial and in society groups. GullySales sets up the reply routine and traces each complaint back to the stage of work that caused it.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

For swimming pool builders and maintenance companies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The review arrives months after the handover”

A pool handed over in March shows seepage in the first rains. The owner writes a review in July, long after the site team has moved to the next job.

  • “A society WhatsApp group is the real review site”

A resident asks which firm built the clubhouse pool and ten people reply within the hour. None of it appears on Google, and you cannot reply to it.

  • “One late completion outweighs ten good pools”

Delay is the commonest complaint in construction, and a review about it that gets no reply reads as an admission.

What we do

What we deliver for swimming pool builders and maintenance companies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Review monitoring across platforms

Google, JustDial, Sulekha and Facebook checked for new reviews, with a named person who reads them and replies.

Result: No review sits unanswered for want of someone to notice it.

  2. Reply wording for each kind of complaint

Wording for delay, seepage, tile damage, missed maintenance visits and billing disputes, written to acknowledge, state the next step and take the details offline.

Result: The reader sees a firm that answers and acts.

  3. A fault log linked to the review

Each complaint recorded against the project, the stage of work and the supervisor, so the same fault is not repeated on the next pool.

Result: A review changes how the work is done.

  4. Handover check that catches problems early

A written check at handover and a call before the first rains, so a seepage is found by you and not by a review.

Result: Fewer owners learn about a fault by themselves.

  5. Asking for reviews at a good moment

A message with the review link sent after the water has run clear for a few weeks, and not at the moment of final payment.

Result: The owner writes when they have lived with the pool.

  6. Review summary for the owner

A short record of what reviews praised and what they criticised, by project and by crew.

Result: You see what clients say about the work.

How the result is measured

  • Average rating
  • Response time to reviews
  • Negative mentions resolved

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

What to do with each review

A pool builder gets a handful of kinds of review, and each needs a different reply and a different fix.

Seepage or a leak after the first monsoon
Reply with the date you will inspect, take the details by phone, and record the stage of work that failed. Never promise removal of the review or call the owner careless.
The pool was handed over late
State the revised date you gave and what delayed the work. If the delay was yours, say so briefly. Check your site log for the cause so the next schedule is honest.
Water turned green soon after handover
Ask for the date and the filter and pump hours the owner ran. Send a technician. Add a first-week water test to the handover checklist.
A maintenance visit that did not happen
Apologise once, give the visit date in the reply and check your schedule sheet. Look at the route and the staffing of that day.
Praise that names a supervisor or a technician
Thank the owner and pass it on to the person named. Keep it as a line for the next client who asks for a reference.
A review from someone who was never a client
Reply that you cannot find the job under that name, and report the review to the platform. Do not accuse a rival in public.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the reputation management work runs

  1. 1

    Understand current perception

We start by actually searching your business name and reviewing what a stranger would currently see.

  2. 2

    Audit existing mentions

We catalogue reviews, mentions and search results, flagging anything negative or inaccurate.

  3. 3

    Plan responses

A calm, factual response is prepared for anything that needs one, agreed with you before posting.

  4. 4

    Implement monitoring

Ongoing checks are set up so new mentions are caught promptly rather than discovered by accident.

  5. 5

    Measure and report

Sentiment and response times are reported, with your business name searched again to see what has moved.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Can we remove a review that is unfair?
Only if it breaks the platform's rules, such as a review from someone who was never your client. Report it and wait for the platform's decision. Meanwhile reply politely and state the facts. Promising removal to anyone is not something to do.
Should we offer a discount for a five-star review?
No. Platforms prohibit paying for reviews, and readers can tell. Ask every client for an honest review and accept what comes. A genuine review that mentions a delay and your reply to it is more believable than a perfect score.
How do we reply to a review that names our supervisor?
Thank the owner for a good one and pass it on to the supervisor. For a complaint, reply without naming the person, say what you will check, and speak to the supervisor inside the firm. Do not argue about an individual in public.
The owner has written in Kannada or Hindi. Do we answer in English?
Answer in the language of the review where your team can write it properly. A short, correct reply in their language reads as respect. If nobody can, reply in English and add a line asking them to call you.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
