Home cleaning companies · Apartment advertising

The gate register already knows which flat is moving in this month.

Apartment advertising for a cleaning company is the notice board, the lift panel and the gate in buildings where flats change hands and every family wants the same Saturday before a festival. GullySales gets the association's permission on paper, puts a quoting number on the board, and records the jobs building by building.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What apartment advertising means

Apartment advertising is media and activity inside residential communities: the notice board, the lift panel, a Sunday stall. GullySales gets the association's written permission first, because anything put up without it comes down.

For home cleaning companies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Handover months are the whole opportunity”

A tower that has just been given possession is full of families booking a deep clean before the furniture arrives. Boards belong in those buildings during the handover months, and the enquiry that follows is about a date rather than a rate.

  • “The secretary already has a housekeeping contractor”

Common area cleaning is nearly always contracted, and your standee reads to the committee like a bid for that work or a complaint about it. State on the board that this is inside the flat, and put the request in writing so the discussion stays about a panel.

  • “The customer is letting strangers into the home”

The board answers the trust question before the price one. Uniformed staff with photo identity, the gate entry made in the company's name, and a supervisor the customer can call on the day do more for a booking than a discount.

  • “The festival Saturday is sold before the boards go up”

Everyone in the building wants the weekend before Diwali, and your crew can only do so many flats. Panels that appear in the festival week are selling slots that went a fortnight ago.

What we do

What we deliver for home cleaning companies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Buildings chosen by handover and by age

Societies in their possession months, plus older towers where tenants change every year, all inside the distance a crew can reach before a morning slot starts.

Result: Boards go up where a deep clean is already being discussed.

  2. Written permission and a gate briefing

The association's approval on paper, and the security desk told in advance that your board and your team are expected.

Result: Nothing is pulled down on day two and nobody is turned away at the gate.

  3. Board copy that settles the trust question

Staff in uniform with photo identity, the supervisor's number, and what happens if something is broken, each said in one line on the panel.

Result: The customer calls without the first three doubts.

  4. One board per job, not a services list

A board for the move-in deep clean, another for sofa and carpet cleaning before the festival, rather than one panel naming everything you do.

Result: The enquiry arrives for a job you can price in a message.

  5. A quoting routine behind the number

A WhatsApp price list your staff answer from, with the slot offered in the same conversation, because these bookings turn on the date.

Result: The enquiry is answered while the customer is still in the lift.

  6. Dated photographs from each society

A picture with the date from every building once the period starts and again before it ends.

Result: You know the panel you paid for is on the wall.

  7. Jobs logged against the building

The society name recorded for every job taken on the campaign number, set beside what that building's panel cost.

Result: The next round keeps the buildings that produced work.

How the result is measured

  • Communities covered
  • Permissions in writing
  • Enquiries quoting the community code

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it is bought, and approved

Before a cleaning company puts a board up, learn the gate rules and the housekeeping contract already in place.

Secretary and facility manager
The secretary usually signs, but the facility manager runs the gate and the housekeeping staff. Ask both, since a board without the manager's nod can still be taken down.
The existing housekeeping contract
Ask whether the society's common-area housekeeping contractor has a clause on outside cleaners. Your board should read as help for flats, not as a rival to that contract.
How your staff are logged at the gate
Ask what the gate needs: photo ID cards, police verification papers, a visitor entry book. Whatever the gate asks for is what you can truthfully print on the board.
Which board and when old notices clear
Boards fill up near festivals. Ask which board, how much space and when old notices are cleared, so a sale notice does not cover yours the week it matters.
Building written on every booking
At the quote, ask the resident where they saw the board and write the building and flat number on the job card, so jobs can be counted society by society.

Who it is for

This is written for these home cleaning companies.

  • Deep cleaning and one-time service providers
  • Recurring home maintenance cleaning companies
  • Sofa, carpet and upholstery cleaning specialists
  • Move-in and move-out cleaning services
  • Office and commercial cleaning contractors
  • Society and apartment complex cleaning contracts
  • Franchise-model cleaning companies

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You have no way to confirm a society's permission for a notice at the gate, and a pamphlet left without it is likely to be taken down.
  • Your crew cannot take a booking from a flat in a tower far from your other jobs, so a good response would mean a long trip for one clean.
  • The committee has refused outside vendors before, and you have not yet cleaned one flat there to point to.

How it works

How the apartment advertising work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Draw the ring

We agree how far a resident will realistically come to you. For a salon that is two or three societies. For a diagnostic centre it is the whole main road.

  2. 2

    Shortlist and verify the societies

Which are self-managed and which are under a facility company, who the gatekeeper is, which trades they allow, and what they charge on their own account.

  3. 3

    Get permission and quote properly

Permission letters are collected first. Only then do you see a rate, and it includes the society fee rather than surprising you with it later.

  4. 4

    Print, install and audit

Artwork goes to each format's exact size, installation is scheduled with the facility manager, and every lobby is photographed with a date.

  5. 5

    Run the activity

The clubhouse weekend is booked inside the display month, when your name is already on the wall of the lift they came down in.

  6. 6

    Read it society by society

Calls and walk-ins are counted per code and the list is cut. A few societies carry a campaign and the rest carry nothing, and the numbers show which.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Can we tell how many jobs a society campaign produced?
Only if the board carries its own line. Print a WhatsApp number used in those buildings and nowhere else, and write the society name against every booking. The panel counts nothing by itself, and a vendor reporting residents reached is reporting flats.
Is a lift panel better than pamphlets at the gate?
The panel stays up for a month and the pamphlet is in the bin by evening, but the pamphlet reaches the door. During handover months, one panel plus a Saturday desk near the gate beats either on its own. Both need the association's written permission, and the security staff need telling, or your team waits outside.
Can the board carry our rates?
Some committees allow prices, others do not. Rates also depend on the flat size and the number of sofas, so a printed price may mislead. Print a WhatsApp number with the words price on request, and quote from the list your staff already use.
A resident complained about noise from our machines. What now?
Call the secretary yourself, note what happened and fix it. Ask for the society's working hours on weekends and festival days and tell every booking customer. A single unanswered complaint to a committee can end the board.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
