Bars, pubs and microbreweries · Local SEO

Be the venue the map shows when a group types a locality and a night out.

Local SEO for a bar, pub or microbrewery keeps your Google Business Profile, map pin and local pages accurate for people deciding where to go tonight. GullySales fixes the profile, the photographs and the review replies, and writes the venue and not the drink.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What local SEO means

Local SEO is the work of making your business show up for searches that name your town or locality, such as a service plus an area name. GullySales sets up locality pages, local citations and map listings so nearby customers find you before a competitor across town.

For bars, pubs and microbreweries

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The map is checked from the car”

A group already on the road opens the map and looks at distance, hours and photographs. A wrong closing time or pin sends them to the next venue.

  • “Reviews decide for the cautious guest”

A guest reading about the evening looks for comments on service, noise and safety. A calm, specific reply from the owner shows how the venue treats complaints.

  • “Photographs should show the room”

Pictures of the terrace, the stage, the brewing floor and the tables tell a visitor what to expect. Pictures of bottles and drink offers risk rules that differ by state.

What we do

What we deliver for bars, pubs and microbreweries.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Business Profile set-up

Name, address, timings, services, booking link and the venue's features entered correctly.

Result: The listing matches the evening on offer.

  2. Pin and arrival directions

A checked pin, parking or valet notes, the entrance and the lift or stairs for access.

Result: Guests find the door on the first try.

  3. Photograph set of the venue

Images of the room, stage, terrace, kitchen and seating, taken in the light guests see.

Result: The profile shows the place honestly.

  4. Review reply guide

Sample replies for praise and complaints, written in a calm, specific tone and approved by the owner.

Result: The venue answers reviews in one voice.

  5. Holiday and event hours

Special hours posted for match days, festivals and dry days that your state observes.

Result: Guests are not turned away by a closed door.

How the result is measured

  • Map pack ranking
  • Local search visibility
  • Enquiries by locality

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the local SEO work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Audit every listing

We check the Google Business Profile and directory listings for every branch against what should actually be shown.

  2. 2

    Complete and correct

Profiles are filled in fully and inconsistent details are corrected across every directory found.

  3. 3

    Build location pages

Each branch gets a page written for its own area, not a copy of the head office page with the address changed.

  4. 4

    Set up review handling

A simple process for requesting and responding to reviews is put in place with whoever is closest to the customer.

  5. 5

    Report and adjust

Map actions and enquiries per branch are recorded, and the branches falling behind come first in the next round of work.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

What should we do about dry days?
Post the closure on your profile and on WhatsApp ahead of time, and describe what the venue offers instead. The dates differ by state and city, so check them with your own adviser or the local notice.
A guest left a harsh review about service. Do we answer?
Yes, calmly and with a fact: what you will check and how the guest can reach the manager. Do not argue in public, and do not offer anything that breaks your licence terms.
Should the profile show drink prices?
Leave prices and brands out unless your adviser confirms what your state permits. Concentrate on food, seating, music and booking, which help a guest decide and carry no such risk.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
