Vacation rental properties · Content marketing

Publish what a lead booker needs to know before paying the advance.

Content marketing for a vacation rental means writing guides, checklists and plain answers that help a group decide on a stay before it asks the host. GullySales works on the topics, the writing and the places those pieces get used.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What content marketing means

Content marketing is writing articles, guides and pages that answer the questions buyers search before they are ready to enquire. This makes your business visible and trusted before the first call. GullySales plans this content from the first conversation onward, choosing topics that match real search demand rather than guesses.

For vacation rental properties

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The awkward questions are the content”

Is there a bonfire, will a sedan make the last stretch, who cooks, what happens if the glass table breaks. These are asked in chat every week by new groups. Written once on a page, they answer for the host while the host is at work.

  • “Guides to the area carry weight an app cannot”

A short guide to the lake road, the market, the temple and the trail, written by someone who lives there, shows the home as a base and not a bed. A directory entry cannot hold that kind of local detail.

  • “Planners of company days read differently”

An HR coordinator wants a sample day plan, a headcount limit and a statement on outside caterers before writing to the owner. A page built for that reader is forwarded to a manager, which an Instagram post is not.

  • “Content that is out of date misleads”

A page that lists a rate from a past season, or a rule the owner has since changed, creates arguments at the gate. Each piece needs a date and an owner who corrects it when something changes.

What we do

What we deliver for vacation rental properties.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A list of the questions guests ask

Chats, calls and reviews read for the questions that recur, grouped by the stage of the booking where they come up.

Result: The writing starts from real questions.

  2. A how-to-reach and what-to-bring guide

Directions from the nearest city, the state of the last road, what the home supplies and what guests carry.

Result: Guests arrive with the right expectations.

  3. A house-rules page in plain language

Music, guest numbers, pets, smoking, outside food and caterers set out with the reason for each rule.

Result: The lead booker reads the rules before paying.

  4. Area guides for the nearest place

Pieces on the town, the viewpoint, the local food and the walks, with photographs from the home's own visits.

Result: Searchers find the home through the place.

  5. A planner pack for company stays

A sample day plan, a quote template and a checklist for HR and admin teams.

Result: A planner can forward one document.

  6. A calendar of pieces tied to seasons

A list of what to publish before the monsoon, the festival season and the long weekends, with an owner for each.

Result: Seasonal pages are ready before the season.

How the result is measured

  • Pages published
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from content pages

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the content marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Confirm the plan

Topics and formats for the coming month are confirmed against the content strategy.

  2. 2

    Produce and review

Content is written or filmed, then reviewed by someone who knows your trade before it goes out.

  3. 3

    Publish and distribute

Finished content is published to the site and pushed through the channels your buyers actually use.

  4. 4

    Track enquiries

Enquiries are traced back to content where a direct line exists, and reported honestly where it does not.

  5. 5

    Report and adjust

We report results and adjust the next topics based on what actually worked.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Do we need to write a blog?
Not a blog for its own sake. A handful of useful pages that answer what groups ask is worth more than a long list of posts nobody reads.
Who should write the pieces?
The people who know the home: the owner, the caretaker, the manager. We shape their notes into clear pages, and the owner approves each one before it goes live.
Where does the content get used?
On the website, in WhatsApp replies, in reel captions and in the planner pack. One piece written well serves in each of these places.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.

Your next practical step

Tell us what you are trying to grow, and we will read it before we call.
