Vacation rental properties · WhatsApp marketing

Answer the group's chat on the number they already trust.

WhatsApp marketing for a vacation rental means using a business number to answer enquiries, send quotes and invite past guests to book direct. GullySales works on the profile, the saved replies and the consent that make that number safe to use.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What WhatsApp marketing means

WhatsApp marketing is sending updates, offers and reminders to customers on the app most Indian buyers already check daily. GullySales sets up business WhatsApp, writes the message templates and keeps the list consented and current.

For vacation rental properties

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The organiser moves from the app to WhatsApp to pay”

The group finds the home on an app, then asks for the host's number to settle the advance. That move is the moment to turn a platform guest into a direct one, if the number is a business line with a clear profile.

  • “A personal number hides the business”

A host using a personal phone loses the chat history when the phone changes, and cannot share the number with a second person. A business number with a catalogue, a greeting and shared access lets the family or staff cover for each other.

  • “Broadcasts to the whole contact list annoy guests”

An offer sent to everyone who ever messaged the host reaches people who never agreed. Check the platform's current rules on business messaging and send only to guests who gave consent. A short, dated message does better than a long one.

  • “The catalogue replaces the brochure”

A group wants to see rooms, rates and rules without scrolling through photos in the chat. A catalogue of the home, with a price by season and a link to the booking page, answers in one place.

What we do

What we deliver for vacation rental properties.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A WhatsApp Business profile

Name, description, address, hours, website and a greeting message set out so a guest knows who is writing.

Result: The number looks like a business.

  2. Saved replies for the common questions

Answers on rates, dates, food, music, pets, arrival and refunds, kept in one place and edited by whoever covers the chat.

Result: Every enquiry gets the same clear answer.

  3. A catalogue of the home

Rooms, the pool, the kitchen and the seasonal rate as items a guest can open in the chat.

Result: The group views the home inside the chat.

  4. Labels for each stage

Tags such as new enquiry, quoted, advance paid and stayed, applied to the chat.

Result: The owner sees what stage each chat is at.

  5. A consent-based invitation list

A list of past guests who agreed to receive offers, with the date they agreed, used for long-weekend and festival messages.

Result: Messages go only to guests who said yes.

  6. A handover note for the cover person

A short guide on tone, rules and escalation for the family member or staff member who watches the chat.

Result: The chat is covered when the owner is at work.

How the result is measured

  • Messages delivered
  • Reply rate
  • Enquiries from WhatsApp

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the whatsapp marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Understand current WhatsApp use

We review how customers currently message you and how consistently, if at all, it is answered.

  2. 2

    Audit common questions

We identify the questions that come up repeatedly, which decide what should be automated first.

  3. 3

    Set up automation and templates

An automated first response and quick reply templates are built for the most common needs.

  4. 4

    Connect to the CRM

Conversations are linked to customer records so context carries over between team members.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track response time and conversion, refining automated responses based on what customers actually ask.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Should we use the free app or the paid API?
A single home does well on the free business app. A larger operator with several staff may need the paid interface. Check the platform's current rules and costs before deciding.
Can we message every guest who stayed?
Only those who agreed. A guest who booked through an app did not necessarily consent to your messages. Ask at check-in and keep a note.
What if we get no replies to a broadcast?
Then the offer, the timing or the list is wrong. We read the replies, trim the list to guests who answered before and try a clearer message, not more of the same.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
