Travel agencies and tour operators · Lead generation

Stop the itinerary you sent at midnight becoming somebody else's booking.

Lead generation for a travel agency means the WhatsApp enquiry being answered fast, qualified on dates and budget, and followed up before the family rebuilds the trip online. GullySales sets the first reply, the qualifying questions and the follow-up dates that run after a quote goes out.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What lead generation means

Lead generation is the combined work of every channel that brings in a new enquiry, whether from search, adverts, referrals or a stall at an exhibition. GullySales runs these channels together and reports the number of enquiries each one produced, not the activity behind it.

For travel agencies and tour operators

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The same enquiry went to four agents”

A family sends one message to everybody whose name it was given. First clear reply, first phone call, first name they trust.

  • “A full itinerary is a free plan”

Send the summary and the price first. The hotel-by-hotel sheet goes out once somebody has shown they are serious.

  • “The grandmother decides the yatra”

An adult son sends the enquiry, but the trip is approved by a parent who wants to hear about the walking, the food and the doctor.

What we do

What we deliver for travel agencies and tour operators.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A first reply that goes out within the hour

A short saved reply giving a price range for that trip and asking the three questions, sent from one business number rather than four staff phones.

Result: You are the first agent the family hears back from.

  2. Qualifying questions asked before an itinerary is built

Dates, travellers with ages, departure city, budget band and whether passports and visas are ready, settled before anybody starts typing hotel names.

Result: Nobody spends an hour on a trip that was never going to happen.

  3. A summary quote and a detailed one, in that order

A one-page summary with the price, the hotel category and what is included, with the day-by-day plan held back until the family confirms interest or pays a token.

Result: Fewer itineraries get rebuilt on a portal.

  4. Follow-up dates set the day a quote goes out

Two dated reminders on the calendar with what to say in each, because in the April rush nobody remembers who has not replied.

Result: The family that went quiet gets a call, not silence.

  5. One log for enquiries arriving five ways

Instagram messages, the website form, the landline, referrals and the WhatsApp business number brought into a single list with who is handling each.

Result: A May enquiry stops being buried by the season.

  6. Past travellers recorded and called before the season

Every traveller with the trip taken, the month, the family size and the next occasion, used to ring them before they start asking around.

Result: Last year's Rajasthan family books Goa with you.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries generated
  • Cost per enquiry
  • Enquiries by source

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Where enquiries come from

Where a trip enquiry comes from, and what to record before an itinerary is built.

A WhatsApp message with a destination
Ask travel dates, number of travellers with ages, budget range and departure city before sending anything. Save the thread under the family's name and the trip.
An Instagram reel or story reply
Tag the reel that prompted it. A reply to a Ladakh or Kerala reel is interest in that trip, so move to WhatsApp, take a number and ask when they hope to travel.
A past traveller or a friend of one
Record the earlier trip and who recommended you. Returning travellers already trust you, so ask about the next holiday on the call after they return.
A corporate travel desk or HR contact
Note the company, the person who approves, the number of travellers and any approved hotel categories. Ask for the booking policy once and keep it on file.
A yatra group or society leader
Record the leader, the group's size and ages, dates and whether elders need ground-floor rooms or special meals. Agree who collects the payments before quoting.
A walk-in or phone call for tickets
Take the passenger names as on the ID, dates and number. Someone buying tickets today may plan a holiday later, so ask about it and note his answer.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is reply time, a follow-up sequence, the page buyers land on or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the lead generation work runs

  1. 1

    Understand your capacity

We agree how many enquiries your sales team can actually handle well, so the system is not built to overwhelm it.

  2. 2

    Audit current sources

We check what already brings in enquiries today, even informally, before adding anything new.

  3. 3

    Strategise the channel mix

Content, search and paid channels are chosen based on where your buyers already look.

  4. 4

    Implement capture and follow-up

Pages, forms and a follow-up process are built and connected end to end.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track enquiry volume and quality and adjust the channel mix to match.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

The family went quiet after our quote. What now?
Ring the next day, not the next week. Ask one question about the dates instead of repeating the price, and fix the second follow-up before you hang up. A family that has spoken to you rarely goes back to building the trip alone.
Should we ask for a token amount before detailed planning?
For a long or international trip, yes. A small booking amount separates a family that is going from one that is browsing, and it tells you which quotes are worth chasing.
What do we do with an enquiry that gives no dates or budget?
Reply once with two questions: when they hope to travel and roughly what they want to spend. Do not build an itinerary yet. Log the enquiry as open with a call-back date. Many people browse, so wait for dates before spending a planner's time.
A group leader will bring a whole group. What should we write down?
The leader, the group's size, ages and dates, who collects the payment and who decides. Agree openly whether the leader gets a free place or a fee. Note any elders, special meals or room needs, since those shape the quote.
How do we stop people using our itinerary to book on their own?
Send a clear summary first and the detailed hotel-by-hotel plan once the traveller has confirmed interest or paid a small booking amount. Follow up within a day of sending any quote, because the traveller who hears back quickly rarely rebuilds the trip alone.
Should we list our packages on large travel portals?
It can help a tour operator fill group departures, but the portal owns the customer relationship and takes a share. We usually build direct enquiries and repeat business first, then decide on portals for specific departures.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
