Landscape contractors · Reputation management

The lawn browns in April and the committee blames the man who planted it.

Reputation management for a landscaping contractor is about what residents, committees and facility managers say when a garden struggles, which is almost always when the water runs short. GullySales records what each visit did, answers the reviews, and gets the reason out before the blame lands.

A statue plinth seen close: the bronze figure implied only by its feet and the hem of its drapery above the top of the frame, one face of the stone pedestal scrubbed pale and the other still grimy and carrying a scrawl of paint, with a pressure hose coiled on the steps beside a bucket, brushes and cloths

What reputation management means

Reputation management is watching what is said about your business across Google, social media and review sites, and responding to it before it changes a buyer's mind. GullySales monitors mentions, drafts responses to negative reviews and flags recurring complaints back to your team.

For landscape contractors

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • You get blamed for the garden after you stop maintaining it

The builder hands upkeep to a cheaper firm, the planting dies, and residents name the contractor who put it in. Nobody prices that risk into a handover.

  • An apartment group decides your renewal in one evening

A resident posts a photograph of a brown patch and forty people agree before anyone mentions the borewell. Your monthly report is what answers that thread.

  • A dead tree is a substitution argument waiting to happen

When specified planting fails, the architect starts wondering whether it was ever the specified plant. Nursery invoices and delivery photographs settle that in an afternoon.

What we do

What we deliver for landscape contractors.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A monthly report for every maintenance site

Visits made, work done, plants replaced, water problems flagged and what the coming month needs, sent to the committee or the facility manager.

Result: A brown lawn has a written explanation before anyone asks.

  2. Handover records kept for every garden built

Dated photographs, the plant list as planted, nursery invoices and the care plan handed over, filed against the project.

Result: You can prove what you planted and what you advised.

  3. Alerts on the company and its owners

Watches on search, Google reviews, JustDial and the places apartment projects get discussed, so you read a complaint before a committee quotes it.

Result: You hear it before a renewal meeting does.

  4. Reviews asked for from the right people

Requests made to villa owners in the second summer and to facility managers at renewal, once the garden has proved itself.

Result: Your reviews describe gardens that lasted.

  5. Replies written for the hard ones

Answers to complaints about dead planting, missed visits and water shortage, written plainly and approved once, with the report attached where it helps.

Result: A committee reads an account instead of an argument.

How the result is measured

  • Average rating
  • Response time to reviews
  • Negative mentions resolved

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

How the work runs for landscape contractors

  1. 1

    Assess

We look at where your projects come from, how many proposals turn into orders, and how many gardens you built are still maintained by you.

  2. 2

    Fix the proposal and follow-up

Enquiry questions before a rate, a proposal with a plant list and care plan, and a follow-up routine for every quote.

  3. 3

    Build proof that grows

A mature garden portfolio, project pages and a maintenance report that shows care month by month.

  4. 4

    Reach the specifiers

Architect and builder outreach, local search for villa and terrace owners, and seasonal campaigns before the monsoon.

  5. 5

    Hold the garden

A first-year care plan with every project, monthly reports to maintenance clients and a pre-summer check for past clients.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

How do we protect ourselves when the builder hands maintenance to someone else?
Photograph the garden at handover and write down the care plan you gave them. When planting fails a year later you have a dated record of what was alive and what was instructed. Offer the first year of care with the build wherever you can.
Should we reply to a bad review from an apartment committee?
Reply once, factually, naming what you did and what stopped it, with no argument about the water. Then send the committee its own monthly reports. Future buyers read the reply, and a defensive one reads worse than the complaint.
How do we stop builders giving our design work to a cheaper executor?
Charge for design separately or agree execution before sharing the plant schedule. Offering build and first-year maintenance together also makes the cheaper quote harder to compare.
What should a garden proposal include?
The species and sizes, soil preparation, irrigation, hardscape items and a first-year care plan. A single rate per square foot hides the difference between a garden that survives and one that does not.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile usually show in weeks, because the enquiries already exist. Ads show in days once follow-up is ready. SEO and content take months. The audit tells you which applies to you.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
