Moving companies · Pay per click advertising

Buy the last ten days of the month and stop guessing prices.

Pay-per-click advertising for a moving company buys demand that arrives in bursts: the end of the month, the weeks before summer, and the customer who needs a truck on Saturday. GullySales runs those campaigns and measures them on booked jobs rather than on leads.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What pay per click advertising means

Pay per click advertising (PPC) is paying a fee each time someone clicks your advert on Google or another platform. It puts you at the top of a search page immediately, instead of waiting for ranking to build. GullySales sets the targeting, writes the ad text and checks spend against enquiries received.

For moving companies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Nearly every enquiry wants the same three days”

Leases end and closings happen at the end of the month. A flat daily budget spends most of itself on days nobody is moving.

  • “The Google Guaranteed badge sits above the paid results”

A frightened customer rings the badge first. Earning it is your paperwork, because the background check and licence verification stay between Google and your company.

  • “Half the clicks want a truck, not a mover”

Truck rental, free moving boxes, moving jobs hiring, pod prices. High volume, no revenue, and they arrive on every broad match left open.

  • “The ad is only as good as whoever answers”

A customer clicking at seven in the evening calls three companies in a row. If yours rings out, the click paid for the mover who picked up.

What we do

What we deliver for moving companies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Budget weighted to the last ten days

Spend concentrated around lease ends and closings, and pulled back mid-month when the searches are research rather than booking.

Result: The money lands on the days that produce jobs.

  2. A negative keyword list for this trade

Truck rental, trailer hire, free boxes, moving jobs, pods, storage units and the do-it-yourself terms that soak up a small budget.

Result: You stop buying clicks from people renting a truck.

  3. Seasonal budget set in February, not May

Spend raised in the weeks when June and July customers start booking, then moved into commercial and senior work as residential goes quiet.

Result: The summer calendar fills before the rush.

  4. Local Services Ads managed alongside search

Profile, job types, service areas and seasonal budget handled, with bad leads disputed rather than quietly paid for.

Result: You stop paying for enquiries that were never moves.

  5. Ad schedules matched to who is answering

Bids weighted to the hours your office and after-hours cover actually reach a person, with a written first message for forms outside those hours.

Result: Somebody is there when the click happens.

  6. Cost per booked job reported by source

Call tracking on every campaign and a routine matching each booked job back to what paid for it, sent against the baseline.

Result: Each source is judged on jobs rather than on lead counts.

How the result is measured

  • Cost per click
  • Cost per enquiry
  • Enquiries from paid search

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Searches to bid on and block

The searches from a customer with a move date, and the ones from people renting a truck or a pod.

Movers near me and local movers, plus the town
Bid, with spend weighted to the end of the month. This customer has a date and wants a price. Say the area you cover in the advert, and answer the phone before four others do.
Long distance movers, interstate and car transport
Bid on its own campaign if you run those routes. The buyer needs a survey and a quote across a distance. Put the lanes you serve in the advert, and ask the pickup and drop towns on the form.
Truck rental, free boxes, pods and storage units
Block unless you sell them. Add truck rental, trailer hire, free boxes, pods and storage as negatives, since these buyers want to move themselves.
Moving jobs, labour hire and movers wanted
Block. Add job, hiring, driver, helper, labour and salary as negatives, or the advert funds searches by people looking for work.
Where the click lands
Send it to a page with a short quote form that asks pickup, drop, date and size of the home or office. A buyer on a deadline will not read a page about your history.
Counting a real enquiry
Count a call that reaches a person and gives a move date, or a quote form with both towns. Log each, and mark which ones became a survey and a booked move.

  • Office and commercial relocation specialists

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the pay per click advertising work runs

  1. 1

    Understand the total budget

We agree the full paid advertising budget available across all platforms, rather than planning each one separately.

  2. 2

    Audit current platform performance

We compare existing campaigns on a shared basis to see where the budget currently performs best and worst.

  3. 3

    Build the cross-platform plan

Campaigns are structured across platforms with a shared measurement standard from the outset.

  4. 4

    Implement and monitor

Campaigns run with budget allocated dynamically based on real-time performance.

  5. 5

    Measure and reallocate

We report performance and shift budget toward what is working, within agreed limits.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • Hours that fit your day, agreed up front

Which hours we overlap with yours is settled before any work starts, so you know when a reply is coming and when it is not.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Where does the Google Guaranteed badge fit?
Above everything else a worried customer sees, which is why it is worth the paperwork. The background check and licence verification are between Google and your company. We handle the profile, the job types and the budget once you are through.
Should we advertise in December?
Lightly, and for different work. Residential searches collapse, so the spend belongs on office relocation, senior downsizing and storage. A December budget aimed at families is money thrown away.
Should we bid on other moving companies' names?
Leave it alone for most small movers. The customer typing a rival's name has chosen them, and you pay for a click you seldom win. Hold your own name, and spend on movers near me and long-distance searches instead.
Should the ad say we give a price on the phone?
Only if you can. A phone number alone will not satisfy a customer who wants a quote. Offer a survey or a short form that gets the size and date, and say that the final price follows the survey.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
