E-commerce fulfilment companies · Lead generation

Bring in sellers whose orders, products and pincodes fit your warehouse floor.

Lead generation for a fulfilment company means attracting founders and operations heads who are ready to move stock out of their own stockroom, and who sell something your floor handles well. GullySales works on the enquiry pages, the qualifying questions and the routing that put a suitable seller in front of your sales person.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What lead generation means

Lead generation is the combined work of every channel that brings in a new enquiry, whether from search, adverts, referrals or a stall at an exhibition. GullySales runs these channels together and reports the number of enquiries each one produced, not the activity behind it.

For E-commerce fulfilment companies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “A cheap enquiry can be an unsuitable one”

A seller with a handful of slow-moving products and a low order count costs the same sales effort as a growing brand with a steady flow. Lead generation that counts every form as a win fills the pipeline with accounts your minimums were never built for.

  • “The warning from a marketplace is the moment of need”

A founder who has just had a late dispatch notice from Amazon or Flipkart searches that evening for someone to pack and ship. Being visible at that moment matters more than being visible to a brand that has no pressure yet.

  • “The best introductions arrive in seller groups”

Founders ask each other which fulfilment partner they trust, in WhatsApp and community groups you cannot see into. An enquiry that begins with a name from a group needs a different first reply from one that began on a search page.

What we do

What we deliver for E-commerce fulfilment companies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Seller-fit qualifying form

Asks for SKU count, order volume, marketplaces used, product type and the city the stock sits in, in plain fields a founder can answer from memory.

Result: Each enquiry opens with the facts your sales person needs to judge fit.

  2. Landing pages by seller situation

Separate pages for a brand outgrowing its own packing, a marketplace seller facing dispatch warnings, and a store shipping across India from one city.

Result: Each page speaks to one situation and carries its own enquiry form.

  3. Source tagging on every enquiry

Search, referral, community and direct enquiries are marked at the point they arrive.

Result: You can see which route brought each seller, and which routes brought trials.

  4. A polite decline path

A written reply for sellers whose volume or product type falls outside your floor, with a pointer to what they should look for elsewhere.

Result: Unsuitable enquiries get a clear answer without consuming a sales call.

  5. Referral prompt for current brands

A short forwardable message a happy client can paste into a seller group.

Result: A recommendation takes one tap to pass on.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries generated
  • Cost per enquiry
  • Enquiries by source

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

What to capture

Each enquiry should show whether the seller fits your floor before a rate is sent.

Products and how they are stored
Record whether stock is ambient, fragile, liquid, batch-coded or serial-numbered. It tells the sales person at once whether the shelf and process exist.
Order pattern across the year
Ask for a rough daily order count and the peak months. A seller who triples at a festival needs capacity you must show you can hold, not just a rate.
Where the orders ship to
Note the main pincodes and the courier mix they use now. It shows whether your courier partners cover their buyers and where returns will come from.
Sales channels in use
Record the marketplaces and store platform. Each has its own dispatch rules and labels, and the answer decides who on your floor handles the account.
What went wrong with the current packer
Write the reason in their own words, such as late dispatch or returns not reconciled. Your first reply should answer that, not repeat the rate card.

Who it is for

This is written for these E-commerce fulfilment companies.

  • D2C brands in beauty, personal care, food and apparel
  • Marketplace sellers on Amazon, Flipkart, Meesho and Myntra
  • Shopify and WooCommerce stores shipping across India
  • Home-grown fashion and jewellery labels with high return rates
  • Gourmet, snack and nutrition brands needing batch and expiry control
  • Electronics and accessories sellers handling serial numbers
  • Subscription box and gifting businesses with seasonal spikes
  • Cross-border sellers shipping to or from India

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • Your floor is full for the coming months, so more enquiries would mean turning sellers away after they have spent time talking to you.
  • You have no one who can answer a rate question on the same day it arrives, so the seller would already be talking to the next provider.

How it works

How the lead generation work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Understand your capacity

We ask how many enquiries your team can answer well, who answers after hours, and what a good enquiry looks like. Without this, the system fills a funnel nobody is watching.

  2. 2

    Audit current sources

We read your call log, WhatsApp chats, enquiry sheet and platform dashboards. The baseline is recorded: enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order.

  3. 3

    Strategise the channel mix

Search and maps are chosen for people ready to buy, ads for people who are not yet looking, and content and referrals for trust.

  4. 4

    Implement capture and follow-up

Pages, forms, tags, the lead record and the first-reply message are built and tested end to end. We submit test enquiries ourselves before any media money is spent.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

Enquiries are traced to source and judged by what became orders, not by volume alone. Channels that fill the sheet with poor enquiries are cut back. How often you are reported to is agreed in writing.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Should we chase every seller who enquires?
No. Decide the order volume, product types and cities that suit your floor, and let the form and the first reply reflect that. A narrow, well-qualified list serves your capacity better than a long one.
Which source gives the best sellers?
That is read from your own enquiries once source tagging is in place. Referrals from existing brands and searches made during a dispatch problem are the ones to watch first, but your own data decides.
Can you promise a number of enquiries?
No. We build the pages, forms and routing, and show you what arrived and where it came from. The number depends on your cities, capacity and how sellers in your market search.
How do we decline a seller who does not fit?
Say so plainly and early, and name the reason, such as batch control you do not run. A kind decline is remembered, and sellers talk in groups. Offer the name of a provider only if you know their work and they agree to be recommended.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
