E-commerce fulfilment companies · Search engine optimisation

Be the page a seller finds when searching for who can pack and ship their orders.

SEO for a fulfilment company is the work of making your service pages the ones a seller reaches when searching for warehousing, pick and pack, returns handling or Amazon seller fulfilment. GullySales works on page structure, the words sellers actually type and the proof that makes a page worth ranking.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What search engine optimisation means

Search engine optimisation (SEO) is the work of getting your website to appear when a buyer searches Google for what you sell. GullySales builds pages around real search terms, fixes technical issues that block ranking, and tracks which searches actually bring enquiries.

For E-commerce fulfilment companies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Sellers search by problem before they search by service”

A founder types about late dispatch, returns piling up or running out of space long before typing fulfilment company. Pages that answer those situations in plain words reach the seller earlier than a page that only lists services.

  • “One page for everything ranks for nothing”

A single services page that covers storage, pick and pack, returns, kitting and COD remittance gives a search engine no clear subject. Each service needs its own page with its own worked explanation.

  • “Comparison searches are where the shortlist forms”

Sellers compare fulfilment with doing it in-house, or one provider type with another. A fair, specific comparison page earns trust and the visit, even when the reader is not ready to enquire yet.

What we do

What we deliver for E-commerce fulfilment companies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Service pages, one subject each

Storage, pick and pack, returns, kitting and branded packaging, COD remittance and peak-season capacity each get a page written around how your floor does it.

Result: Every service has its own page a seller can land on directly.

  2. Seller-type pages

Pages for beauty, apparel, food with expiry control and electronics with serial tracking, each using the words that trade uses.

Result: A founder in each product trade lands on a page about their own stock.

  3. Fulfilment versus in-house explainer

A balanced page that sets out when outsourcing makes sense and when a brand should wait.

Result: Your site holds an honest answer to the comparison sellers already search for.

  4. Technical clean-up

Titles, headings, internal links, speed and indexing checked across the service and city pages.

Result: A list of fixes made, which you can check page by page.

  5. Integration and platform pages

Short pages on how you work with Shopify, WooCommerce, the main marketplaces and shipping aggregators.

Result: Sellers searching their own platform find a page that names it.

How the result is measured

  • Ranking positions
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from organic search

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Searches your buyers type

Sellers search by problem first, and each problem needs its own page.

Fulfilment centre for D2C brand in Bengaluru
Answer with a city page for that warehouse: what you store, which couriers pick up, the order sizes you take and a form for a trial transfer.
How to ship Amazon seller flex orders from a third party warehouse
Answer with a marketplace page that explains labelling, appointment and inventory transfer in your own process, written for the operations person.
Fulfilment charges per order pick and pack explained
Answer with a rate explainer showing what pick, pack, storage and returns lines mean. The page lets a buyer compare quotes on the same basis.
Returns handling for fashion brands outsourced
Answer with a returns page covering inspection, restock rules and reporting to the brand. High-return labels check this before anything else.
Cash on delivery remittance from fulfilment partner
Answer with a finance page on how COD amounts reach the seller and what the reconciliation sheet contains, for the founder's accounts lead.

Who it is for

This is written for these E-commerce fulfilment companies.

  • D2C brands in beauty, personal care, food and apparel
  • Marketplace sellers on Amazon, Flipkart, Meesho and Myntra
  • Shopify and WooCommerce stores shipping across India
  • Home-grown fashion and jewellery labels with high return rates
  • Gourmet, snack and nutrition brands needing batch and expiry control
  • Electronics and accessories sellers handling serial numbers
  • Subscription box and gifting businesses with seasonal spikes
  • Cross-border sellers shipping to or from India

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • Your service pages would describe capacity or integrations you do not yet have, so search visitors would find a gap on the first call.
  • You cannot yet publish how your charges are built, and search buyers compare charges before they ring anyone.

How it works

How the search engine optimisation work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Audit and baseline

We record where the site stands today: positions, traffic, technical faults and the enquiries search currently produces. Nothing starts until this number is written down.

  2. 2

    Decide what to rank for

We map the searches your buyers use, in your words and theirs, and pick the ones worth the effort for your margin and your capacity.

  3. 3

    Fix the foundations

Technical faults first, because the cheapest gains are there. Then the Business Profile and directory consistency.

  4. 4

    Build the pages

A page for each thing you do, written to answer the question it is searched for, with a clear next step at the end.

  5. 5

    Publish and earn mentions

Content goes out on the calendar. Links and mentions are earned from real relationships, not bought.

  6. 6

    Measure, report, adjust

At an interval agreed in writing we report what moved and what did not, and change the plan when the numbers say so.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

How long before the site ranks?
We do not state a timeline, because ranking depends on competition, your existing site and the pages built. We report what was published and how each page is performing, and you judge from that.
Do we need a blog for SEO?
Not as a goal in itself. Explainer pages on dispatch ratings, returns handling and rate cards earn their place because sellers search those questions. Write what a warned seller wants to read.
Will you promise first page on Google?
No. Nobody can promise a position. We work on pages, structure and proof, and show you where the pages stand.
Which platforms should we name on the site?
Name only the marketplaces and store platforms whose dispatch you already run. A seller will test the claim with a question on labels or appointments. Check each platform's current rules before describing its process, as they change.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
