E-commerce fulfilment companies · WhatsApp marketing

Answer sellers where they already ask, in the seller groups and in direct chat.

WhatsApp marketing for a fulfilment company covers the direct chats, business profile and permitted messages through which sellers enquire, get updates during a trial and refer others. GullySales works on the business profile, the message templates and the rules for using the platform properly.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What WhatsApp marketing means

WhatsApp marketing is sending updates, offers and reminders to customers on the app most Indian buyers already check daily. GullySales sets up business WhatsApp, writes the message templates and keeps the list consented and current.

For E-commerce fulfilment companies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The recommendation arrives as a forwarded contact”

A founder in a seller group shares your number with a single line. The first message you send decides whether the introduction was worth making, so it needs to be warm, short and specific.

  • “A group is a place to answer, not to advertise”

Seller groups tolerate useful answers and reject pitches. A named person who answers a question about returns or dispatch rules builds a reputation that no broadcast can.

  • “Trial updates suit chat better than email”

Stock received, counted, shelved and first order shipped are small updates a founder likes to see on the phone. Used with consent, chat becomes a calm record of the trial.

What we do

What we deliver for E-commerce fulfilment companies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Business profile set-up

A verified profile with services, hours for dispatch cut-offs and a clear first message.

Result: Sellers who tap your number see a proper business, not a personal contact.

  2. Reply templates

Saved replies for rate enquiries, warehouse visits, returns questions and trial onboarding.

Result: The team answers consistently and sounds like one company.

  3. Consent and opt-in wording

A simple way to record that a seller agreed to receive updates, and a way to stop them.

Result: You can show that each contact asked for messages.

  4. Trial status updates

Short messages marking received, counted, shelved and first dispatch, with counts included.

Result: A founder in trial can see progress without calling.

  5. Referral message for current brands

A forwardable note a client can share in a group, with your contact and one line on who you serve.

Result: Introductions follow a clear, polite pattern.

How the result is measured

  • Messages delivered
  • Reply rate
  • Enquiries from WhatsApp

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

What to capture or send

Chat is for the questions and trial updates sellers already send each other.

Introduction when a seller group recommends you
A short reply that thanks the group member if they agreed, answers the question asked and moves to a call. It does not paste a brochure.
Order profile questions
A saved message asking for products, daily orders, pincodes and platforms. It collects what you need to quote without a long form.
Trial inventory received
A message with the counted units and any mismatch against the announcement, sent to the one seller concerned, with a photo of the inbound area.
Dispatch day update
A concise message of orders picked, packed and handed to couriers, with any delayed order named and its reason. It replaces a worried call.
Opt-in for festive capacity notices
A one-line request to the seller asking if they want slot notices before peak months. Record the yes, so later messages reach people who asked.

Who it is for

This is written for these E-commerce fulfilment companies.

  • D2C brands in beauty, personal care, food and apparel
  • Marketplace sellers on Amazon, Flipkart, Meesho and Myntra
  • Shopify and WooCommerce stores shipping across India
  • Home-grown fashion and jewellery labels with high return rates
  • Gourmet, snack and nutrition brands needing batch and expiry control
  • Electronics and accessories sellers handling serial numbers
  • Subscription box and gifting businesses with seasonal spikes
  • Cross-border sellers shipping to or from India

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • Your account managers use personal phones with no shared record, so a seller's trial updates would sit in one pocket.
  • You plan to post offers in seller groups, and you have not read each group's own rules on promotion.

How it works

How the whatsapp marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

Read the chats you already have

We read how customers write to you, which questions repeat and where a chat goes quiet. The repeated questions decide what gets automated first.

  2. 2

Sort the list and the permission

Contacts who asked to hear from you are separated from numbers that only sit in a phone book. We agree the wording new contacts will see before they say yes.

  3. 3

Choose the app or the API

One phone and a small team can stay on the ordinary app. Several people on one number, templates or a CRM link need the API through a provider, which is its own piece of setup work.

  4. 4

Write the replies and the plan

The greeting, away message, saved replies and handover rule are written in your words and approved by you. The message plan and its templates follow.

  5. 5

    Connect the record and test

Each link carries its source line and each chat lands in the CRM. We test on real phones, including a customer who asks for a person.

  6. 6

    Read the unanswered questions

A question the first reply could not answer becomes a new saved reply or a fixed handover. Stop requests are watched too, with the number's quality rating where the API is used, since both show a message plan that has gone too far.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Can we message sellers in bulk?
Only to people who agreed to hear from you, and within the platform's current rules, which you should check before sending. Broadcasts to strangers risk your number and your name.
Should we join seller groups?
Join those you are invited to and answer questions honestly under a named person. Do not post offers uninvited.
Do you replace our sales team on chat?
No. We build the profile, templates and rules. Your sales people hold the conversation.
How should we behave in a seller group?
Answer questions with useful detail and do not post rate cards unasked. Groups remove promoters, and a helpful answer is remembered when a member needs a provider. Read the group's rules first, and move any pricing talk to a private chat only when the member invites it.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.

Your next practical step

Tell us what you are trying to grow, and we will read it before we call.

Eight short steps, mostly taps. Skip anything you would rather answer on the call.
