PCB assembly companies · Search engine optimisation

Be the shop an engineer finds when they search for who can build the board.

SEO for a PCB assembly company is the work of making your line appear when an engineer searches for SMT assembly, turnkey boards or a prototype partner. GullySales works on the pages, the technical terms and the site structure that let a search engine match your capability to the board a buyer describes.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What search engine optimisation means

Search engine optimisation (SEO) is the work of getting your website to appear when a buyer searches Google for what you sell. GullySales builds pages around real search terms, fixes technical issues that block ranking, and tracks which searches actually bring enquiries.

For PCB assembly companies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Engineers search in the terms of the job”

A hardware lead types the package size, the process or the product type, not a company description. Pages that say SMT, through-hole, BGA, conformal coating or box build in plain words match those searches. A page that says only quality assembly services matches nobody.

  • “Turnkey and consigned are two separate searches”

A founder who wants the shop to buy components searches differently from a brand that supplies its own parts. One blended page answers neither. Separate pages let each searcher see their model and the questions about it answered.

  • “Capability is the proof an engineer reads”

Placement range, smallest component size, inspection method and test steps are what an engineer scans for. If these sit in a brochure PDF, a search engine reads little of it. Put them in the page text where they can be found and checked.

  • “Searchers compare shops city by city and nationally”

Some buyers want a plant they can visit; others only want the best fit anywhere in India. The site should show the plant location clearly without limiting itself to one town, so the national search is not lost.

What we do

What we deliver for PCB assembly companies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Search term list by board and process

Terms drawn from how engineers describe SMT, through-hole, programming, testing and box build, grouped by buyer type.

Result: The list shows which terms have a page and which do not.

  2. Capability pages written for search

One page per major service, each with the machine range, component sizes, inspection and test steps in plain text.

Result: Each service has its own page an engineer can read in full.

  3. Turnkey and consigned pages

Separate pages for each way of working, with who buys the parts and how shortages are handled.

Result: A searcher lands on the page for their own model.

  4. Technical clean-up

Titles, headings, page speed on a phone, indexing and file names corrected across the site.

Result: Google Search Console shows the pages indexed and the errors cleared.

  5. Board-type landing pages

Pages for your main boards, such as industrial controllers, IoT devices and EV electronics.

Result: A buyer with that board type finds a page about it.

  6. Search report in plain words

The terms bringing visitors, the pages they land on and the enquiries that follow, read by a person.

Result: You see which pages bring BOMs and which only bring visits.

How the result is measured

  • Ranking positions
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from organic search

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Who it is for

This is written for these PCB assembly companies.

  • Prototype and low-volume SMT assembly shops for startups
  • Turnkey assemblers who source components for OEMs
  • Consigned-parts assembly for brands that buy their own components
  • High-mix, low-volume lines for industrial and medical electronics
  • Automotive and EV electronics assemblers
  • Box-build and final assembly providers with enclosure and harness work
  • Contract manufacturers for consumer and IoT products
  • Rework and repair houses for expensive boards

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the search engine optimisation work runs

  1. 1

    Audit and baseline

We record where the site stands today: positions, traffic, technical faults and the enquiries search currently produces. Nothing starts until this number is written down.

  2. 2

    Decide what to rank for

We map the searches your buyers use, in your words and theirs, and pick the ones worth the effort for your margin and your capacity.

  3. 3

    Fix the foundations

Technical faults first, because the cheapest gains are usually there. Then the Business Profile and directory consistency.

  4. 4

    Build the pages

A page for each thing you do, written to answer the question it is searched for, with a clear next step at the end.

  5. 5

    Publish and earn mentions

Content goes out on the calendar. Links and mentions are earned from real relationships, not bought.

  6. 6

    Measure, report, adjust

At the interval agreed at the start we report what moved and what did not, and change the plan when the numbers say so.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Do we need a blog to rank?
Not as a first step. Capability and service pages carry the buying searches. A blog helps later for questions engineers ask before they choose, such as design for manufacture. Rankings are never certain, and GullySales does not promise any.
Will a customer list page help with search?
A list of customers helps a buyer's trust but only with the customer's consent. Where consent is given, name the board type built. Where it is not, describe the segment instead and keep the confidentiality the customer expects.
Why do we get visits but no BOMs?
The page may be reaching the wrong searcher, or the form may ask too much or too little. Check which terms bring the visit and what the visitor sees next. The fix lies in the page, not in more traffic.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
