PCB assembly companies · Social media

Show the line at work so a buyer can judge the shop before the call.

Social media for a PCB assembly company is the use of LinkedIn and YouTube to show the line, the people and the process to engineers and sourcing teams who will never see the floor. GullySales plans what is worth posting from your own production and how a post leads a buyer to the BOM form.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What social media means

Social media is the ongoing posting your business does on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn to stay visible to customers and prospects between purchases. GullySales plans a posting calendar, writes captions and designs the images so the page looks active and answers what a visitor would ask.

For PCB assembly companies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Buyers read LinkedIn as a reference check”

A purchase head considering a new assembler looks at the company page and the plant head's profile. A page last updated long ago, or one filled with festival greetings, says little about the line. Posts about real boards and real process steps give them something to weigh.

  • “The floor is the best content you own”

A reflow oven profile being checked, a stencil printer set-up and an inspection station are interesting to engineers and need no studio. The task is to photograph them with permission and write one useful line, not a slogan.

  • “Customer boards are confidential”

The boards you build carry other brands' designs. Post only with written consent, and otherwise show process, equipment and generic work. A leaked board image costs more than any post earns.

  • “YouTube serves the founder who is learning”

A first-time hardware founder searches for how assembly works and what files are needed. A short explainer on preparing a BOM for quoting finds that person early and makes your shop the one they remember.

What we do

What we deliver for PCB assembly companies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Profile and page set-up

Company page, plant head and sales lead profiles aligned on what you build and the lot sizes you take.

Result: A visiting buyer sees the same description of the line everywhere.

  2. Floor photography routine

A shot list of machines, inspection and test steps, with permission rules for anything that shows a customer board.

Result: You hold a library of floor images cleared for use.

  3. Post plan built from real work

Posts on process steps, design-for-manufacture notes and capability, written in plain engineering language.

Result: Each post carries one point an engineer can use.

  4. YouTube explainers

Short videos on preparing files for a quote, turnkey versus consigned and common footprint issues.

Result: A founder can watch one video before sending a BOM.

  5. Link to the BOM form

Every post and profile points to the intake form, not to the home page.

Result: Visitors from social land where a BOM can be sent.

How the result is measured

  • Posts published
  • Engagement rate
  • Enquiries from social profiles

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Who it is for

This is written for these PCB assembly companies.

  • Prototype and low-volume SMT assembly shops for startups
  • Turnkey assemblers who source components for OEMs
  • Consigned-parts assembly for brands that buy their own components
  • High-mix, low-volume lines for industrial and medical electronics
  • Automotive and EV electronics assemblers
  • Box-build and final assembly providers with enclosure and harness work
  • Contract manufacturers for consumer and IoT products
  • Rework and repair houses for expensive boards

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the social media work runs

  1. 1

    Understand your audience and platforms

We identify which platforms your specific buyers actually use and what kind of content they respond to.

  2. 2

    Audit current presence

We review existing pages, past content performance and any gaps in consistency.

  3. 3

    Build the content calendar

A plan is created, balancing genuine value with occasional direct offers.

  4. 4

    Implement and post

Content is created and published consistently on the agreed schedule.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track enquiries alongside engagement and adjust the content mix based on what actually performs.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Is it worth posting if our customers are confidential?
Yes, with process content. Equipment, inspection steps and design-for-manufacture advice reveal no customer board. Show a customer's work only with their written agreement, and keep that record on file.
Who should post, the company page or the plant head?
Both, with different jobs. The company page carries capability and announcements. The plant head or quality lead posting on process earns engineers' attention. A named engineer earns more trust than a logo.
Should we run paid posts on LinkedIn?
Only after the BOM form and capability page work, since paid reach sent to a weak page is wasted. Check the platform's current rules and costs, and begin with a narrow audience such as sourcing heads in a named industry.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
