Medical device manufacturers · Website

Build a site where a compliance check takes one click, not one email.

Website development for a medical device manufacturer means a site organised by device category with certifications, specifications and a way to request a demonstration or a distributor partnership clearly available. GullySales builds the site and keeps the certification pages current as approvals change.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What website means

A website is the page a customer lands on after searching, clicking an advert or scanning a code, and it decides whether they call or leave. GullySales builds and maintains sites that load quickly, explain the offer plainly and make the enquiry form or phone number easy to find.

Last updated 5 Oct 2026. Rules for this trade differ by state and professional body, and they change. We describe restrictions in general terms, so check the current position with your own council or adviser before you publish anything.

For medical device manufacturers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Certifications need a dedicated, easy-to-find page”

A buyer or auditor checking compliance should not have to email and wait for a certificate that could simply be published and verifiable on the site.

  • “Distributor enquiries need their own path, separate from hospital ones”

A single generic contact form forces a distributor and a hospital into the same funnel, when each needs a different response and different information.

  • “Specification sheets should be downloadable, not locked behind email”

Making a buyer request a specification sheet by email adds friction that a serious evaluator, already comparing several manufacturers, may not bother with.

What we do

What we deliver for medical device manufacturers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Dedicated, publishable certification page

A page listing your certifications with verifiable detail, so an auditor or buyer does not have to email and wait.

Result: A compliance check takes one page visit, not an email exchange.

  2. Separate paths for distributor and hospital enquiries

Two distinct enquiry forms and follow-up routes, one for distributors, one for hospitals, instead of one generic contact form.

Result: Each enquiry reaches the right response, not a shared queue.

  3. Downloadable specification sheets

Specification sheets available for direct download rather than locked behind an email request.

Result: A buyer already comparing manufacturers gets the detail without delay.

  4. Update routine for specifications and certifications

An update routine for specification and certification pages, run whenever a device or approval changes.

Result: The website never shows an outdated certification.

How the result is measured

  • Page load time
  • Bounce rate
  • Enquiries from the website

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

What the page must show

What a medical device maker's website must show before a buyer checks you out.

Licence and registration numbers as issued
Show your manufacturing licence and device registration details, with the product each covers. Check every entry against the current certificate before it goes live.
Intended use in the words of your labelling
State what each device is for and who uses it, using the wording of your approved labelling. Add no claim that is not in it.
Standards and certificate validity
List ISO 13485 and any product standard you meet, with the certifying body and validity date. Offer test reports to a buyer's quality team on request.
A specification table for each device
Give sizes, materials, sterile or non-sterile, shelf life and pack size in one table. Biomedical engineers compare these across makers.
Installation, training and service
Say who installs, who trains the technician, where service engineers are based and what the warranty covers. Hospitals ask this before price.
Three separate enquiry routes
Give a demonstration request, a distributor application and a tender enquiry, each with its own short form and person who answers.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is reply time, a follow-up sequence, the page buyers land on or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the website work runs

  1. 1

    Confirm structure and content

We agree the site's pages and content needs before design begins, drawing on website strategy where it exists.

  2. 2

    Design the site

Every page is designed against your brand identity and checked for how it should convert a visitor.

  3. 3

    Build and test

The site is developed and tested across devices and browsers before anything goes live.

  4. 4

    Load real content

Actual copy, images and information about your business replace placeholder content before launch.

  5. 5

    Launch and hand over access

The site goes live with domain, hosting and content management access clearly handed to you.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Our specifications sit in a hundred separate files. How long will this take?
Most of the time goes on compiling and checking that specification and certification content, not on the build itself. We set a realistic date once we know how many device files there are.
Does the website need frequent updates?
Yes, certification status and device specifications need to be kept current, since outdated information is both a trust and a compliance issue.
Can the site show a price list for hospitals?
Keep price lists off the open page. Hospital, distributor and government prices differ, and a public figure invites disputes. Offer a quotation request that asks buyer type and quantity. Where a maximum retail price applies to your product, check with your regulatory adviser how it must be shown.
Can we show surgery or clinical photographs of the device in use?
Only with the patient's consent and the hospital's permission, and only within your approved labelling. Many firms use a diagram or a demonstration on a model instead. Have your regulatory person review each image and caption before it is published.
Should our product pages state the device's risk class?
Yes. Under the Medical Devices Rules, 2017, each device falls in class A, B, C or D, and a biomedical engineer checks that class against your licence. Showing both on the page saves a round of emails before the demo.
Can we name the hospitals that already use our device?
Only with each hospital's written permission, and stated as a fact rather than an endorsement. Many hospitals refuse, so we plan the page to work without names. An installation count by city or specialty is a safer form of proof when you can verify it.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
