PPE and safety equipment manufacturers · Email marketing

Write to the plants and dealers who asked, in a way a purchase manager will open.

Email marketing for a PPE manufacturer is writing to dealers, plants and contractors who agreed to hear from you, about products, certificates and reorders. GullySales builds the list from consent, sets up the segments and writes messages a purchase manager can act on.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What email marketing means

Email marketing is sending planned messages to a list of past and prospective customers who have agreed to hear from you. It suits offers, updates and staying in touch with someone who is not ready to buy yet. GullySales writes and schedules these emails and tracks who opens, clicks and enquires.

For PPE and safety equipment manufacturers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The list is a pile of scraped mail addresses”

Addresses collected from directories and fairs without a record of permission land in spam, and some can make a legitimate mail look like spam.

  • “Every message goes to everyone”

A glove offer reaches the harness buyer, and a dealer gets a note meant for a plant. They stop opening anything.

  • “There is no reply path”

The mail comes from a no-reply address, and the buyer who wants a quote has to find a phone number.

What we do

What we deliver for PPE and safety equipment manufacturers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A consent record for the list

Each contact marked with how and when they agreed: a form, a visit card with permission, an enquiry that asked for the catalogue.

Result: You write only to people who said yes.

  2. Segments by buyer and product

Dealers, plant purchase managers, safety officers and contractors, tagged by the products they use.

Result: Each person hears about what concerns him.

  3. A sender identity and reply path

A named person and a company address, a reply that reaches someone and a link that stops the mail.

Result: A buyer can answer a mail by replying to it.

  4. A quote follow-up message

A short message after a quote, with the specification page, the certificate copy and one question.

Result: A quote receives a prompt that is not silence.

  5. A reorder reminder for regular buyers

A message before the usual reorder date, with the last order's items and a one-click request for the same again.

Result: A regular customer is reminded before a rival writes.

  6. A short newsletter with one product and one guide

A message with a single new product or guide and a call to ask for a sample.

Result: The list hears from you for a reason.

How the result is measured

  • Open rate
  • Click rate
  • Enquiries from email

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

What must be in place first

What a PPE manufacturer needs before sending marketing mail to plants and dealers.

List source and permission
Write where each address came from and how the person agreed. Enquiries, visit cards given with permission and sign-ups qualify. A bought list does not. Check current data protection rules with your adviser.
Sender identity
Send from a named person at your company domain, with the company name, address and a phone number in the footer. A mail from a free address or an unnamed sender looks like spam to a purchase manager.
An unsubscribe that works
Put a clear link in every mail, and honour requests the same day, removing the person from every list. A buyer who cannot leave will mark you as spam and damage the delivery to others.
Segments
Divide the list by dealer, plant, contractor and exporter, and by product used. A dealer wants the price list and a plant wants the specification, so write two mails.
A reply path
Make replies go to a monitored address and answer them by a person. Say in the mail who to ask for. A reply that sits in an inbox for a week is a quote lost.
A record of what each mail did
Log replies, quote requests and orders against the mail they followed. Opens alone prove nothing. Keep the tally by segment, so you see which message brings a request.

Who it is for

This is written for these PPE and safety equipment manufacturers.

  • Safety shoe and boot manufacturers
  • Safety helmet and head protection makers
  • Industrial glove manufacturers
  • Harness and fall protection makers
  • Workwear and coverall manufacturers
  • Respirator, mask and eye protection makers
  • Fire safety equipment makers
  • Private label and branded workwear suppliers

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is reply time, a follow-up sequence, the page buyers land on or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the email marketing work runs

  1. 1

    Understand your list

We review who is on the list, how they got there, and how long it has been since they last heard from you.

  2. 2

    Audit past sends

We check open and click rates from past emails to see what has and has not worked.

  3. 3

    Segment and plan

The list is split into meaningful groups and a sending calendar is agreed.

  4. 4

    Implement content and automation

Emails are written, scheduled and, where useful, set to trigger automatically based on behaviour.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track performance and adjust subject lines, timing and content based on what the list responds to.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Can I buy a list of factory purchase managers?
Do not. People on it never agreed to hear from you, and the addresses go stale. Build your own from enquiries, visits and fair cards with permission. A smaller list of people who asked is worth more than a large list of strangers.
Newsletter or one-to-one mail, which works for a maker?
One-to-one mails after an enquiry or a quote, because the buyer asked. A newsletter suits dealers and regular plants, with one product and one reason to reply. Write in a plain and short way.
How do I stay out of the spam folder?
Send only to people who agreed, from your own domain, with a working unsubscribe and few links. Avoid attachments of large size, and do not send the same text to thousands at once. Ask your IT person to set the standard authentication records.
What should a mail to a safety officer contain?
One product, the hazard it is for, the standard as marked on your certificate, and a request for a sample or a call. Keep it short. Attach no more than a single specification sheet, and give a reply address.
Can you help us show certificates and standards on the website?
We set out the pages, and you supply the certificates you hold and the wording the testing body gives. We show only what you hold and do not state more than the certificate says. Rules and standards change, so check with your testing body.
Do you make safety claims about our products?
No. We describe the product, its materials and the standard as marked on your certificate. We do not claim that it prevents injury, and we avoid any wording a buyer's audit could challenge.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
