PPE and safety equipment manufacturers · Manufacturing
Be the supplier a plant approves, trials and reorders from.
A safety officer at a foundry in Rajkot has just failed an audit on glove use. He searches for cut and heat resistant gloves, opens six pages, and finds two that show a specification, a standard and a minimum order. He asks both for samples. One reply comes with a price list; the other asks which part of the plant the gloves are for.
Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.
In one paragraph
PPE and safety equipment marketing is being found by the purchase manager, safety officer or dealer who needs helmets, shoes, gloves or harnesses in quantity. The sales side is the sample, the trial and the vendor approval that end in a purchase order. GullySales builds the product pages and the enquiry record, then follows each buyer to an order.
In that story the second maker got the trial, and the trial got the purchase order, though the gloves were no better. His reply was written for the foundry, the certificate was ready, and someone called after the sample arrived. Most PPE makers lose the order in the gap between the sample leaving the factory and the vendor approval.

How buyers decide
How PPE and safety equipment manufacturers are chosen.
Buyers fall into three groups. The safety officer chooses by hazard, standard and what workers will wear. The purchase manager compares price, terms and approved-vendor papers. The dealer or contractor buys for resale or a project and wants stock, margin and delivery to a site.
The first filter is whether the product matches the hazard and the certificate matches the product. A plant cannot approve what it cannot cite, so the buyer looks for the standard marked on the product, such as a BIS or EN number, and asks for the certificate behind it. What you print on a pack or a listing must match your own certificate, and your certifying body will tell you what you may claim. The second is a trial: workers wear the shoe or glove for a few shifts, and a product they dislike does not reach a second order.
The final choice is on delivery, terms and the relationship. A maker who delivers to the date, replaces a faulty piece and answers a call is kept. Many plants hold two suppliers, and the one that is easier to reach gets the larger share.
The problem
What usually goes wrong for PPE and safety equipment manufacturers.
What owners tell us on the first call, in their words.
“Our enquiries come mostly from marketplaces”
IndiaMART and similar sites bring requests, many from people who will never order. We answer by hand, and the good ones sit in the pile.
“Our website is a catalogue without detail”
A purchase committee cannot approve a product with a photograph and a name. It needs the specification, the standard and the papers.
“Samples go out and nobody calls”
A carton of gloves reaches a plant and nobody asks whether the trial passed. The buyer drifts back to the old supplier.
“Dealers sell our product and we never meet the plant”
The dealer keeps the end customer's name. We do not know where the product is used, or when the next order is due.
“Vendor approval delays the order”
After a successful trial the plant asks for profile, certificates and statutory papers that are not ready, and the order waits.
“We compete on price against imports and local brands”
Buyers see a cheaper pair and do not see the difference. We have not written down what our price includes.

Not for
It is not the right fit if.
- You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
- You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
- You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.
How it works
From your first message to the first report.
No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.
First
Your brief
You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.
After the brief
A conversation and a written scope
We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.
Before work starts
Baseline recorded
Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.
After the baseline
The first fix goes live
The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is reply time, a follow-up sequence, the page buyers land on or the handover between marketing and sales.
As agreed
Report against the baseline
What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.
At renewal
Renew on the numbers
The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.
How the work runs for PPE and safety equipment manufacturers
- 1
Audit the enquiries and samples
We check how enquiries from each source are answered, how samples are followed up and where approvals stall.
- 2
Put the specification and papers online
Product pages with specification, the standard as marked and a certificate page, with a quote and sample form.
- 3
Record every buyer and every sample
One sheet, a source on each row, the approver named and a call date on each sample and quote.
- 4
Write the vendor approval folder
Profile, certificates, test reports and statutory papers kept ready, so approval does not hold up the order.
- 5
Add search and dealer channels
Search ads on supplier searches and a dealer plan, once the pages and the sheet are in daily use.
Proof
What happened when owners fixed this.
Real clients, the work we did, and the result as it was recorded. Where no number was recorded, none is claimed.
SB Engineering
- Situation
- Buyers searching for laser cutting and sheet metal work in Bengaluru were finding other suppliers first, because the company did not rank for the terms its own customers type.
- What we did
- The site redesigned for mobile
- Search work on the buyer's terms
- Content that shows the work
- Social channels managed
- Result
- Website traffic rose 60% within six months, against a target of 50%.
- High-quality leads rose 45%, with a rise in conversion rates alongside them.
- Fifteen target keywords moved up the rankings, five of them into the top three positions.
HOPO Hardware
- Situation
- There was no website or online platform of any kind, so nothing showed the products, their features or their technical specifications. A dealer who wanted a specification had to ask for it every time.
- What we did
- Website and product catalogue
- Logo and colour palette
- Printed stationery
- Social accounts opened
- Result
- No numbers were recorded for this engagement. The work is described in full in the case study.

Why us
Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.
Marketing and sales, as one job

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.
A baseline before anything starts
Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.
The fee in writing, split three ways
Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.
No guarantees we cannot keep
The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.
One office, and we say so
Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

Engagement options
Ways to work with us.

A call after you send your brief. It says honestly whether you need outside help, and many fixes are ones your own team can make.
Option 2
One fix, scoped
Start with the fix that matters most, such as reply time or follow-up. The fee is in writing before anything starts.

We run the work, report against the baseline, and you renew on the numbers. The term and the reporting are agreed in writing first.
Option 4
Guidance for your own team or agency
We plan, brief and check the work of your in-house team or current agency, instead of replacing them.
