Yoga ashrams · WhatsApp marketing

Answer booking questions on WhatsApp and keep the hall quiet.

WhatsApp marketing for a yoga ashram is the use of one office number to answer enquiries, send booking details and invite past guests to new batches, with their consent. GullySales works on setting up the number, the standard replies and the rules for what is sent.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What WhatsApp marketing means

WhatsApp marketing is sending updates, offers and reminders to customers on the app most Indian buyers already check daily. GullySales sets up business WhatsApp, writes the message templates and keeps the list consented and current.

For yoga ashrams

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Indian guests write on WhatsApp first”

A family or a student asks about dates and rooms by message because it is quicker than a form. If the number on the website is not answered, the enquiry is lost.

  • “Overseas guests use it too”

A traveller abroad is comfortable with a message, but the time difference means the reply cannot wait for the next morning in the office.

  • “The ashram's number is not a personal phone”

A teacher's or volunteer's own number carrying guest messages makes handover impossible. One business number with named users keeps the thread when people change.

  • “Broadcasts need consent”

Sending dates to everyone in a contact list reaches people who never agreed. Message only those who asked to hear from the ashram, and give a clear way to stop.

What we do

What we deliver for yoga ashrams.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A business number with a profile

A WhatsApp Business account with the ashram's name, address, office hours and a short description.

Result: A guest sees an ashram profile and not a stranger's number.

  2. Quick replies for common questions

Saved answers for dates, rooms, food, rules, directions and the payment route.

Result: The common question gets a ready answer.

  3. Opening hours and an away message

Set hours for replies and a plain message outside them, in keeping with the ashram's quiet.

Result: A guest knows when to expect an answer.

  4. A consented list for batch announcements

Past guests who agreed to hear about new dates, with the date and manner of consent recorded.

Result: Every person on the list has said yes.

  5. A hand-off from chat to record

Each chat enquiry entered in the shared guest record with its source and stage.

Result: Chat enquiries do not live only on a phone.

How the result is measured

  • Messages delivered
  • Reply rate
  • Enquiries from WhatsApp

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the whatsapp marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Understand current WhatsApp use

We review how customers currently message you and how consistently, if at all, it is answered.

  2. 2

    Audit common questions

We identify the questions that come up repeatedly, which decide what should be automated first.

  3. 3

    Set up automation and templates

An automated first response and quick reply templates are built for the most common needs.

  4. 4

    Connect to the CRM

Conversations are linked to customer records so context carries over between team members.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track response time and conversion, refining automated responses based on what customers actually ask.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Should we keep our phones off in the hall?
That is the ashram's rule, and we respect it. The office number is answered by the office in set hours, away from the practice space.
Can we send promotional messages to past guests?
Only to those who agreed to receive them, and with a way to opt out. Check the platform's current rules for business messages before sending anything in bulk.
Do we need the paid business tools?
Not at first. The free business app handles profile, quick replies and labels. A larger setup is worth considering only if the volume of enquiries justifies it.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
