Automotive service franchises · Search engine optimisation

Be the answer when someone searches for a car care franchise or a workshop near them.

SEO for an automotive service franchise is the work of appearing in search for people who want to open a unit and for people who want a vehicle serviced. GullySales works on the brand site, the outlet pages and the technical structure that connects them.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What search engine optimisation means

Search engine optimisation (SEO) is the work of getting your website to appear when a buyer searches Google for what you sell. GullySales builds pages around real search terms, fixes technical issues that block ranking, and tracks which searches actually bring enquiries.

For automotive service franchises

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Franchise searches and service searches need different pages”

Someone typing garage franchise cost wants a page about the unit. Someone typing car service near me wants an outlet. Putting both on a single home page makes it rank poorly for either, and the visitor lands where the answer is missing.

  • “Outlets on one page compete with each other”

A single services page listing every city gives Google no reason to show the right outlet to the right person. A page per outlet, with its own address and bays, gives each town something specific to rank.

  • “Brochure text hides in a PDF”

Some franchise brands keep investment, space and training details in a downloadable file. Search engines read a PDF poorly, and the candidate who wanted a plain comparison moves on to a brand that put the facts in plain text.

  • “Service intent changes with the season”

Battery trouble rises before winter, wiper and tyre questions come with the rains, and AC checks arrive before summer. Pages written for those moments catch searches that a generic page never meets.

What we do

What we deliver for automotive service franchises.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A search map for both buyers

A list of the phrases candidates use and the phrases vehicle owners use, sorted into the page that should answer each.

Result: Every important phrase has one named page and no page is left without a purpose.

  2. The franchise page in plain text

A page with the format, space, machinery, training and support written as readable text, with any investment figure checked by your adviser first.

Result: A candidate can compare you with other brands without opening a file.

  3. An outlet page template

One layout for every outlet with address, services, hours, bay photographs and a map, filled in by outlet.

Result: A new outlet gets a page the day it is added to the template.

  4. Technical fixes

Page speed on mobile, titles, internal links between brand and outlet pages, and a sitemap that lists all outlets.

Result: Google Search Console shows the outlet pages as found and indexed.

  5. Seasonal service pages

Short pages for battery, tyre, AC and brake checks that outlets link to before each season.

Result: Each seasonal search has a page that answers it.

How the result is measured

  • Ranking positions
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from organic search

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the search engine optimisation work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Audit and baseline

We record where the site stands today: positions, traffic, technical faults and the enquiries search currently produces. Nothing starts until this number is written down.

  2. 2

    Decide what to rank for

We map the searches your buyers use, in your words and theirs, and pick the ones worth the effort for your margin and your capacity.

  3. 3

    Fix the foundations

Technical faults first, because the cheapest gains are usually there. Then the Business Profile and directory consistency.

  4. 4

    Build the pages

A page for each thing you do, written to answer the question it is searched for, with a clear next step at the end.

  5. 5

    Publish and earn mentions

Content goes out on the calendar. Links and mentions are earned from real relationships, not bought.

  6. 6

    Measure, report, adjust

At the interval agreed at the start we report what moved and what did not, and change the plan when the numbers say so.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Do we need a separate website for each outlet?
No. One brand site with a page per outlet ranks better than a scatter of thin sites, and it lets the brand keep prices and wording consistent. Each outlet page carries its own details.
How do we handle a franchisee who wants their own site?
Agree a rule in the franchise agreement that outlet pages live on the brand site. A separate site by a franchisee splits the brand's search strength and can show different prices.
Will you tell us where we will rank?
No. Rankings move and no one can promise a position. We report which pages are indexed, which phrases bring visits and which pages lead to enquiries or bookings.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
