B2B SaaS startups · Digital marketing

Choose the few channels that bring demos and drop the ones that only bring clicks.

Digital marketing for a B2B SaaS startup covers search, LinkedIn, email, community and paid ads, judged by whether they bring demos and paid accounts. GullySales sets a small plan, tracks each channel to demo requests, and drops what does not earn its place.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What digital marketing means

Digital marketing is the combined work of search, social media, advertising and website channels running together rather than as separate projects with separate people. GullySales runs these as one connected system so a change in one channel, such as a new offer, is reflected everywhere at once.

For B2B SaaS startups

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Clicks are not the same as demos”

A channel that produces cheap visits and no demo requests is costing money. The plan has to be measured from first touch to booked demo to paid account, or the cheapest channel will look best.

  • “Paid ads before the message is proven burn budget”

Putting spend behind a headline nobody has tested teaches the team little. Organic posts and outbound replies show which phrase gets a response, and that phrase belongs in the ad.

  • “Retargeting a small audience needs a clear offer”

A buyer who visited the pricing page once is worth a useful follow-up, such as a comparison guide or a walk-through. A banner that repeats the logo for weeks is noise.

  • “Attribution is messy in long B2B cycles”

A buyer may read a post, search your name, attend a webinar and then book a demo. Asking 'how did you hear about us?' in the demo form, and recording the answer, is more honest than a tool's guess.

What we do

What we deliver for B2B SaaS startups.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Channel plan for the next stage

A short list of channels chosen by who your buyer is and where they look, each with a single purpose.

Result: The team can say what each channel is meant to produce.

  2. Tracking from visit to paid account

Analytics, UTM tags and CRM fields that follow a lead from first visit to deal.

Result: You can see demo requests and paid accounts by source.

  3. Demo request form and thank-you page

A short form with a field for 'how did you hear about us' and a thank-you page that sets out what happens next.

Result: Every demo request is recorded with its source in the CRM.

  4. Paid test brief

If paid ads are used, a written brief with the audience, offer, budget ceiling and the demo target to judge them against.

Result: A paid test has an end point and a decision, not an open-ended spend.

  5. Channel review

A recurring look at each channel against demos and paid accounts, with a note on what to continue, change or stop.

Result: Spend moves from channels that did not work to the ones that did.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries across channels
  • Cost per enquiry overall
  • Channel mix by contribution

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Who it is for

This is written for these B2B SaaS startups.

  • Early-stage SaaS selling to Indian SMEs and mid-market firms
  • Vertical SaaS for one trade, such as clinics, schools, dealers or builders
  • Developer tools and APIs sold to engineering teams
  • HR, payroll and compliance software for growing companies
  • Finance and accounting tools sold through CA firms
  • Indian-built SaaS selling to buyers in the US, UK or Middle East
  • Spin-offs from services firms that turned an internal tool into a product
  • Bootstrapped founders who have not raised and cannot hire a sales team yet

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the digital marketing work runs

  1. 1

    Understand the objective

We agree the one thing this campaign needs to achieve before choosing any channel.

  2. 2

    Audit available channels

We assess which channels are realistic to run well within the budget and timeline.

  3. 3

    Strategise the central idea

One message and offer is developed that will work across every planned channel.

  4. 4

    Implement across channels

Each channel receives its own adapted version, launched on a shared timeline.

  5. 5

    Measure as one campaign

Results from every channel are combined into a single report against the original objective.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

What budget do we need?
There is no fixed amount. It depends on your price, your sales cycle and how much the founder can do alone. We start with the free and low-cost channels and add paid spend only when a message has proven itself.
Should we run Google Ads?
Search ads suit problems people actively search for and a price that justifies the click cost. We check the phrases and the likely competition before you spend, and we check the platform's current rules and costs.
How do we know if it is working?
Count demo requests from strangers, trials that turn into paid accounts, and the source of each. If those numbers do not move across a few review rounds, we change the channel or the message and write down why.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
