DJs, musicians and live entertainers · WhatsApp marketing

Take date enquiries on a business WhatsApp and keep planners and hosts informed.

WhatsApp marketing for an artist means a business profile for enquiries, saved replies for common questions and an opt-in list for planners who want updates. GullySales works on the profile, the replies and the list.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What WhatsApp marketing means

WhatsApp marketing is sending updates, offers and reminders to customers on the app most Indian buyers already check daily. GullySales sets up business WhatsApp, writes the message templates and keeps the list consented and current.

For DJs, musicians and live entertainers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The enquiry arrives on WhatsApp”

Hosts and planners message artists there because they use it all day. A business profile with a catalogue and saved replies looks professional and answers faster.

  • “A personal number gets lost”

A business number kept apart from the artist's family and friends chats means enquiries are not buried. It also lets a manager or a partner reply when the artist is on stage.

  • “Planners like a short update list”

A planner who agreed to hear from the artist welcomes a note about new formats, open dates and a fresh showreel. A list built without asking is unwelcome.

  • “Check the platform's current rules”

WhatsApp sets its own rules for business messaging and opt-in. Read the current rules before starting a campaign; GullySales works within them.

What we do

What we deliver for DJs, musicians and live entertainers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A WhatsApp Business profile

Artist name, description, website, hours and a catalogue of formats.

Result: The enquirer sees a business, not a private number.

  2. Saved replies

Replies on rates, open dates, equipment, travel and advance.

Result: Each enquiry gets a clear first answer.

  3. A catalogue of formats

DJ set, duo, band and host packages listed in plain words.

Result: A buyer can browse before asking.

  4. An opt-in route for planners

A form or a message that lets planners choose to receive updates.

Result: Everyone on the list agreed to be there.

  5. A showreel message

A short message with a link to the best clip for each type of booking.

Result: The right clip is ready to send.

  6. Date hold message

A reply that confirms a date is held, states the hold period the artist has chosen, names the advance needed to confirm and says what happens if another host asks for the same night.

Result: A host knows where the date stands.

  7. Sound check and logistics note

A message sent after confirmation with the load-in time, power and stage needs, the contact at the venue and the person who will be on site.

Result: The planner does not chase for details on the day.

How the result is measured

  • Messages delivered
  • Reply rate
  • Enquiries from WhatsApp

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the whatsapp marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Understand current WhatsApp use

We review how customers currently message you and how consistently, if at all, it is answered.

  2. 2

    Audit common questions

We identify the questions that come up repeatedly, which decide what should be automated first.

  3. 3

    Set up automation and templates

An automated first response and quick reply templates are built for the most common needs.

  4. 4

    Connect to the CRM

Conversations are linked to customer records so context carries over between team members.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track response time and conversion, refining automated responses based on what customers actually ask.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Is it fine to add planners to a group?
Not without asking. Send one message offering updates, and add the planner only if they say yes. A broadcast list keeps numbers private, and a planner who wants out should be able to leave with a single word.
Should I send the showreel as a video file?
Send a link to a page or channel. Large video files fill phones and arrive in poor quality. A link opens a clean version.
What if a host wants to negotiate on chat?
Agree the basics on chat, then confirm in a written message with the rate, date and terms. Keep a record of what was agreed.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
