Event décor companies · Local SEO

Show up on the map when a family in your city looks for a décor company.

Local SEO for an event décor company is the work of appearing on the map and in nearby results when a family searches for someone to dress a mandap or a stage in your city. GullySales works on your Google Business Profile, the areas you serve and the reviews that sit beside your name.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What local SEO means

Local SEO is the work of making your business show up for searches that name your town or locality, such as a service plus an area name. GullySales sets up locality pages, local citations and map listings so nearby customers find you before a competitor across town.

For event décor companies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “You travel to the client, yet the client checks the map”

A crew goes to the hall, but the family wants a company close enough to meet and to visit. A profile with a real address, photographs of your workshop and a clear service area reads as a business that exists.

  • “The service area is a promise to the crew”

Listing every city in the state brings enquiries your team cannot reach on a muhurat weekend. Name the places you build in and the distance your trucks can cover, and leave the rest out. Both read the same profile.

  • “Hall photographs and map photographs work together”

A family planning at a hall checks who has decorated it. Photographs on the profile tagged with that hall's name, and reviews that mention it, make you the answer to a venue-specific search. Both read the same profile.

  • “The planner reads the reviews too”

A planner thinking of using you as a sub-vendor reads the Google profile before the portfolio. Reviews that mention punctuality, dismantling and the behaviour of the crew answer the planner's worry as well as the family's.

What we do

What we deliver for event décor companies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A verified Google Business Profile

Name, address, phone, hours and service area set correctly, with the main business type chosen to match décor work.

Result: Search your company name and the profile shows the right address and service area.

  2. Photographs named by hall and event type

Profile photos added with the venue and the kind of event in each description, so the hall name travels with the picture.

Result: A search for your work at a named hall finds photographs from it.

  3. A service area set to where the crew can go

The towns and districts you serve, matched to the distance your trucks and team can cover on a busy weekend.

Result: Enquiries come from places you can actually reach.

  4. A review request after each event

A message with the review link sent to the family or planner once the set is down, with a suggestion to mention the hall and the occasion.

Result: New reviews name an event and a hall.

  5. Replies to every review

Written answers to praise and to complaints, handling a late truck or a missing item in plain words.

Result: A reader sees a complaint answered in public.

  6. Listings kept consistent

Name, address and phone matched across Justdial, Sulekha and your social profiles.

Result: The same name and number appear wherever you are listed.

How the result is measured

  • Map pack ranking
  • Local search visibility
  • Enquiries by locality

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the local SEO work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Audit every listing

We check the Google Business Profile and directory listings for every branch against what should actually be shown.

  2. 2

    Complete and correct

Profiles are filled in fully and inconsistent details are corrected across every directory found.

  3. 3

    Build location pages

Each branch gets a page written for its own area, not a copy of the head office page with the address changed.

  4. 4

    Set up review handling

A simple process for requesting and responding to reviews is put in place with whoever is closest to the customer.

  5. 5

    Report and adjust

Map actions and enquiries per branch are recorded, and the branches falling behind come first in the next round of work.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

We work from a godown. Can we list it?
Décor companies do list workshops and storage units. It can be shown if customers can visit, or you can hide the address and list a service area instead. Check the platform's current rules on what counts as a business location.
Can we list the halls we work in?
Name them in photo descriptions and in reviews rather than adding them as business locations. A hall is not your premises, and a listing that claims otherwise breaks the platform's rules. Check the platform's current rules before adding anything.
Do paid or invented reviews help?
No. They put the profile at risk, and a planner can tell. Ask real clients with the link straight after the event, and offer nothing in return.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
