Event décor companies · Search engine optimisation

Be the result a family finds when it types the theme it has in mind.

SEO for an event décor company is the work of appearing in search when someone types a theme, a mandap style or a hall name, and then holding their attention with proof of the set. GullySales works on the pages, photo captions and site structure that let a search engine read what you build.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What search engine optimisation means

Search engine optimisation (SEO) is the work of getting your website to appear when a buyer searches Google for what you sell. GullySales builds pages around real search terms, fixes technical issues that block ranking, and tracks which searches actually bring enquiries.

For event décor companies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Families search for a look, not a company”

The search is white and gold mandap or floral entrance for a reception. A page titled with the company name matches none of it. Pages named for the look and the event type are what meet that search.

  • “Photographs without words are invisible”

A gallery of unlabelled images tells a search engine nothing about the set. Each picture needs the venue, the event type and the theme written beside it, in plain language that a family would also use.

  • “Hall names carry their own searches”

Families look for décor at a particular venue because the hall decides what fits. A page about your work at that hall, showing the stage and the ceiling, meets a search that no general page can.

  • “The season changes the question”

Before the auspicious months, searches turn to dates, packages and what a stage costs. Before Diwali and year-end they turn to society and office décor. Pages that match the season's question are ready before the question arrives.

What we do

What we deliver for event décor companies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A search map of looks, events and halls

A list of the themes, event types and venues your buyers type, drawn from your enquiries and past jobs rather than from a tool's guess.

Result: A sheet that pairs each page you need with the search it answers.

  2. Portfolio pages written for search

One page per event type and theme, with a title, a short description and photo captions that name the hall and the style.

Result: Each portfolio page carries a title a family would recognise in a result.

  3. Photo file names and captions

File names, alt text and captions that say what the picture shows, written once and reused across the site.

Result: Open any gallery image and its caption names the venue and the theme.

  4. A page for each hall you have worked in

Photographs, the stage layout and the ceiling treatment for that venue, with the practical details a family asks about.

Result: A family planning at that hall finds a page about that hall.

  5. A page that explains what moves the price

A plain explanation of flower type, guest count, ceiling height and lighting, with rates shown only if you choose to publish them.

Result: The comparison question is answered on your own site.

  6. A search-visits check against the baseline

Search Console visits to the portfolio pages, set against the figures recorded before the work started.

Result: You can see which pages are found and for which searches.

How the result is measured

  • Ranking positions
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from organic search

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the search engine optimisation work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Audit and baseline

We record where the site stands today: positions, traffic, technical faults and the enquiries search currently produces. Nothing starts until this number is written down.

  2. 2

    Decide what to rank for

We map the searches your buyers use, in your words and theirs, and pick the ones worth the effort for your margin and your capacity.

  3. 3

    Fix the foundations

Technical faults first, because the cheapest gains are usually there. Then the Business Profile and directory consistency.

  4. 4

    Build the pages

A page for each thing you do, written to answer the question it is searched for, with a clear next step at the end.

  5. 5

    Publish and earn mentions

Content goes out on the calendar. Links and mentions are earned from real relationships, not bought.

  6. 6

    Measure, report, adjust

At the interval agreed at the start we report what moved and what did not, and change the plan when the numbers say so.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Can you promise a first-page ranking for wedding décor?
No. The search engine decides rankings, and no agency controls them. We improve what you control: the pages, the captions, the loading of images and the structure, and then read the search data to see where the pages are being found.
Do we need a blog to rank?
Not a general blog. A short guide that answers a family's real question, such as what decides the cost of a stage, earns its place. Writing for the sake of volume does not, and it dilutes the pages that matter.
Is Instagram enough without SEO?
Instagram brings people to your work, but a post sinks down the feed and is not searched the way Google is. A page on your own site stays where it can be found when someone types the look they want.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
