Event décor companies · Social media

Turn each finished set into a post a family can forward to the planner.

Social media marketing for an event décor company is the use of Instagram, Facebook and YouTube to show finished sets to the families, planners and companies choosing a look. GullySales works on how each set is photographed, grouped and posted so the page reads as a catalogue and not a diary.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What social media means

Social media is the ongoing posting your business does on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn to stay visible to customers and prospects between purchases. GullySales plans a posting calendar, writes captions and designs the images so the page looks active and answers what a visitor would ask.

For event décor companies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The set lasts one night, the photographs last years”

A mandap is dismantled by morning. What was captured before the guests arrived is the only record that will sell the next one, so the shoot belongs in the event plan and not in the leftover minutes.

  • “A feed of everything sells nothing”

A haldi set, a sangeet stage and a corporate backdrop on one grid confuse every viewer. Highlights and post groups by event type let a family jump to the section that looks like its own function.

  • “Reels show the build, posts show the result”

A short video of the structure rising and the flowers going on shows craft that a photograph hides. The still of the finished stage from the entrance is what a family saves and sends on.

  • “The comments are enquiries”

A family asking where a venue is or what a set costs in the comments wants an answer the same day. A reply that moves the talk to WhatsApp with a question about the date turns a comment into an enquiry.

What we do

What we deliver for event décor companies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A shot list for every event

The wide view from the entrance, the stage, the details and the lighting at night, listed before the event so the crew knows what to capture.

Result: Every event leaves a set of photographs that can be posted.

  2. Post groups by event type and hall

Sets sorted into wedding, reception, birthday and corporate, and tagged with the venue, so a viewer can follow the thread that matches their plan.

Result: A family can scroll to work in its own hall.

  3. Highlights built as a catalogue

Story highlights for each event type, with a short caption saying what is included and how to ask for a quote.

Result: The profile works as a menu of what you build.

  4. Reels of the build

Short clips of the setting-up, kept to the craft: the frame, the flowers, the lights coming on.

Result: The craft behind a finished set is visible to a viewer.

  5. Saved replies for comments and messages

A first reply that thanks the viewer and asks for the date and the venue, written in your voice.

Result: Every comment about a price or a hall gets the same useful answer.

  6. A tag list of venues and planners

Handles of the halls, planners, photographers and caterers you work beside, tagged with their knowledge.

Result: Venues and planners see their own names on your posts.

How the result is measured

  • Posts published
  • Engagement rate
  • Enquiries from social profiles

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the social media work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Understand your audience and platforms

We identify which platforms your specific buyers actually use and what kind of content they respond to.

  2. 2

    Audit current presence

We review existing pages, past content performance and any gaps in consistency.

  3. 3

    Build the content calendar

A plan is created, balancing genuine value with occasional direct offers.

  4. 4

    Implement and post

Content is created and published consistently on the agreed schedule.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track enquiries alongside engagement and adjust the content mix based on what actually performs.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Should we post every event?
Post the sets that show something new, or that sit in a hall you want more work from. A feed that repeats the same arch for ten weddings tells a family no more than one post would.
Do we need to show the family's faces?
No. Photograph the set before the guests arrive, and ask before you post any picture with people in it. Some families do not want their function made public.
Is paid promotion needed?
A post reaches people who already follow you. Paid promotion puts a strong set in front of families in your city who do not. Check the platform's current rules and options before spending, and start with one set aimed at one city.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
