Livestock technology companies · Search engine optimisation

Get found by the dairy owner who types the problem, not the product name.

SEO for a livestock technology company means shaping pages so that search engines show them when a farm owner, cooperative officer or vet looks for a solution to a herd problem. GullySales works on the pages, the language of the queries and the technical basics of the site.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What search engine optimisation means

Search engine optimisation (SEO) is the work of getting your website to appear when a buyer searches Google for what you sell. GullySales builds pages around real search terms, fixes technical issues that block ranking, and tracks which searches actually bring enquiries.

For livestock technology companies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Farmers search the problem, not the product”

A dairy owner types about a cow that is hard to catch in heat, or milk that is rejected at the collection centre. A site that names only an algorithm or a platform does not appear for those words, however good the technology is.

  • “Search happens in the local language and by voice”

Farmers speak their query into a phone in Kannada, Marathi, Tamil or Hindi. Pages in English alone miss that search. A page in the district's language, with the words farmers actually say, has a chance the English page does not.

  • “Cooperative officers and vets search differently”

A technical officer looks for evidence, specifications and references. A vet looks for what the sensor measures and what it does not. One page cannot answer both, so each reader needs a page that opens with their own question.

  • “A site built for investors hides the product”

Pages full of platform terms and vision statements rank for little and persuade nobody on a farm. The pages that earn visits show a shed, an animal, a price in rupees and the steps of a pilot.

What we do

What we deliver for livestock technology companies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A keyword map by buyer and problem

A list of the questions owners, officers and vets ask, grouped by the page that should answer each one.

Result: A written map that tells you which page is meant for which search.

  2. Problem pages for each product

One page per problem the product addresses, written in plain words with a farm example.

Result: Each product has pages that match what a buyer would type.

  3. Local language pages

Key pages written, not machine translated, in the languages of your target districts, with matching titles.

Result: Pages exist in the language a farmer speaks into a phone.

  4. Technical clean-up

Page speed on weak mobile data, titles, headings, links between pages and a sitemap.

Result: The site loads on a basic phone and each page has a clear title.

  5. A search report

The queries that brought visits and the pages that answered them, read against enquiries received.

Result: You can see which pages brought enquiries and which brought only visits.

How the result is measured

  • Ranking positions
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from organic search

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the search engine optimisation work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Audit and baseline

We record where the site stands today: positions, traffic, technical faults and the enquiries search currently produces. Nothing starts until this number is written down.

  2. 2

    Decide what to rank for

We map the searches your buyers use, in your words and theirs, and pick the ones worth the effort for your margin and your capacity.

  3. 3

    Fix the foundations

Technical faults first, because the cheapest gains are usually there. Then the Business Profile and directory consistency.

  4. 4

    Build the pages

A page for each thing you do, written to answer the question it is searched for, with a clear next step at the end.

  5. 5

    Publish and earn mentions

Content goes out on the calendar. Links and mentions are earned from real relationships, not bought.

  6. 6

    Measure, report, adjust

At the interval agreed at the start we report what moved and what did not, and change the plan when the numbers say so.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

How long before the site ranks?
We do not give a timeline for rankings, and nobody honest can. We set up the pages and the tracking, then show what search brings and what it does not.
Should the pages be in English or a regional language?
Both, for different readers. Cooperative officers and large farms read English; individual farmers search in their own language. We decide the order after looking at your target districts.
Do we need a blog for SEO?
Only if it answers real questions from farmers, vets or officers. A blog written to fill space does not help. We plan articles around questions your own team hears in the field.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
