Podcast production studios · Digital marketing

Put the sample episode at the centre and let search, social and outreach lead to it.

Digital marketing for a podcast studio is the combination of search, social posts, email and outreach that brings hosts and marketing heads to a sample and then an enquiry. GullySales works on picking the channels that suit your buyers and on reading results against signed series.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What digital marketing means

Digital marketing is the combined work of search, social media, advertising and website channels running together rather than as separate projects with separate people. GullySales runs these as one connected system so a change in one channel, such as a new offer, is reflected everywhere at once.

For podcast production studios

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “One strong sample beats many channels”

A studio posting on every platform with no listenable episode on its site sends every viewer to a dead end. Build the sample page first, then point each channel to it.

  • “Each buyer arrives by a different route”

An independent host comes through a map search or a friend, while a marketing head comes through LinkedIn or a Google search for branded podcasts. Spreading effort evenly across channels ignores that difference.

  • “Paid advertising amplifies what already converts”

An advertisement to a page that holds the buyer's attention and answers their questions brings more value than one sent to a home page. Spend on advertising only after the page works for unpaid visitors.

  • “Results should be read in signed series”

Likes and views show attention, not business. The studio's own count of enquiries, quotes sent and series signed shows which channel brings the buyers worth keeping.

What we do

What we deliver for podcast production studios.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A channel plan for your buyers

A written plan choosing the channels that reach your main buyers, and the reason for each.

Result: The studio knows where effort goes and where it does not.

  2. A sample-first landing page

A page built around a full episode, a season plan and a clear enquiry route.

Result: Visitors from every channel arrive somewhere that sells the work.

  3. Tracked enquiry sources

A way to record where each enquiry came from, using a form field and a question in the first reply.

Result: Each enquiry has a source noted.

  4. Outreach to branded-show buyers

A list of target companies and a first message you send, offering a plan to read.

Result: You reach buyers who are not searching yet.

  5. A review of results against the starting picture

The baseline recorded at the start compared with enquiries, quotes and signed series now.

Result: You can see what changed and what did not.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries across channels
  • Cost per enquiry overall
  • Channel mix by contribution

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the digital marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Understand the objective

We agree the one thing this campaign needs to achieve before choosing any channel.

  2. 2

    Audit available channels

We assess which channels are realistic to run well within the budget and timeline.

  3. 3

    Strategise the central idea

One message and offer is developed that will work across every planned channel.

  4. 4

    Implement across channels

Each channel receives its own adapted version, launched on a shared timeline.

  5. 5

    Measure as one campaign

Results from every channel are combined into a single report against the original objective.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Where should a small studio start?
With the sample page and a business profile on the map. Those two are cheap and decide whether any other channel works. Add social posts and outreach once someone can answer enquiries on time.
Do we need a mailing list?
If you have repeat hosts and past enquirers who agreed to hear from you, a mailing list is a low-cost way to share new episodes and offers. Collect permission at the point of enquiry.
How do we compare channels fairly?
Count signed series from each source, not messages or clicks. A channel that brings fewer enquiries but more series is worth more. This needs the source sheet kept honestly from the start.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
