Robotics startups · Search engine optimisation

Be found by buyers searching for the job, not the word robot.

SEO for a robotics startup means shaping pages around the tasks buyers type into search, such as moving pallets, inspecting parts or spraying crops. GullySales works on page structure, job-based content and technical clean-up, and makes no promise about positions.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What search engine optimisation means

Search engine optimisation (SEO) is the work of getting your website to appear when a buyer searches Google for what you sell. GullySales builds pages around real search terms, fixes technical issues that block ranking, and tracks which searches actually bring enquiries.

For robotics startups

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Buyers search the problem”

A plant head rarely types the name of a robot type. They type the problem, such as how to automate pallet movement or cut rejection at final inspection. A site organised by product model never meets that phrase.

  • “Specification pages are thin”

A product page with a table of payload, speed and battery gives a search engine little to read and a buyer little to judge. The conditions, the industry and the live site tell both what the robot is for.

  • “Imported brands fill the results”

Global makers hold the pages that compare robot types. A startup competes better on Indian conditions, local service and named industries, which those pages cannot speak to.

  • “Videos sit unread by search”

A strong working video with no transcript, a vague title and no page around it gives search nothing to index. The video persuades only once a visitor lands near it.

What we do

What we deliver for robotics startups.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Job keyword map

A map of the tasks, industries and buyer questions people search, matched to a page for each.

Result: Every page has a named task it answers.

  2. Job and industry pages

Pages rewritten around the task, the floor conditions and the industry, with the working video placed in the text.

Result: Each page opens with the job in plain words.

  3. Technical clean-up

Page titles, headings, loading speed, mobile layout and indexing checked and corrected across the site.

Result: A list of fixes made, page by page.

  4. Video transcripts and markup

Transcripts, descriptive titles and video markup so working clips can be read by search.

Result: Each video has a transcript on its page.

  5. Reference page per live site

A page for each live site, with the host's written permission, stating the job and the conditions.

Result: Every named site has written permission on file.

  6. Position tracking

A list of the searches you care about, with where your pages stand beside each.

Result: You can see current positions against each search.

How the result is measured

  • Ranking positions
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from organic search

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Who it is for

This is written for these robotics startups.

  • Warehouse and intralogistics robot makers
  • Inspection and surveillance robot startups
  • Agricultural and spraying drone and robot companies
  • Cobot and robotic arm integrators for factories
  • Hospital, hotel and service robot makers
  • Educational robotics kit and lab makers
  • Cleaning and facility robot startups

How it works

How the search engine optimisation work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Audit and baseline

We record where the site stands today: positions, traffic, technical faults and the enquiries search currently produces. Nothing starts until this number is written down.

  2. 2

    Decide what to rank for

We map the searches your buyers use, in your words and theirs, and pick the ones worth the effort for your margin and your capacity.

  3. 3

    Fix the foundations

Technical faults first, because the cheapest gains are usually there. Then the Business Profile and directory consistency.

  4. 4

    Build the pages

A page for each thing you do, written to answer the question it is searched for, with a clear next step at the end.

  5. 5

    Publish and earn mentions

Content goes out on the calendar. Links and mentions are earned from real relationships, not bought.

  6. 6

    Measure, report, adjust

At the interval agreed at the start we report what moved and what did not, and change the plan when the numbers say so.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Should we write about robotics in general?
Write about the buyer's job instead. General robotics articles attract students and enthusiasts, not plant heads. We add explainers only where a buyer's question needs one, such as floor markings or battery charging space.
Do global brand pages hurt us?
They hold the broad searches, so we do not chase them. We work on narrower searches that carry an Indian industry, a named job or a local service question, where your specifics count.
Can you promise a first-page position?
No. Positions depend on competitors and on the search engine, and no agency controls either. We show what was changed on each page and the position recorded beside it.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
